after patch the game won’t load its says connection error, my internet is working fine tested other games including guild wars 1 and all work’s fine

Well shoot, me too, looks like the US Authentication Server #3 is down… and I was ready to come home from work and finish off Herald too…. T.T

its not just in America, here in EU also getting the connection error

Yup I’m getting it too, just when I finished crafting The Acension in the midst of this too!

I am experiencing the same issue. If I run the game with the -repair option, I get the ordinary login screen after the data archive is completely checked and am able to play. As soon as I log out, however, I am unable to log back in without -repair. Hopefully this is fixed soon, though, as this seems a time-intensive workaround.

Possibly related issues with today’s patches: I was prompted to repair the data archive when closing the game after today’s first patch as others have described here. Today’s second patch also downloaded very slowly (~10 kb/s) whereas my usual download speeds are quite fast.

Yeah, if it helps, here is my sequence.

• Tried to log in. Got a problem notification. Fat-fingered the button to ignore rather than check, and got into the game. That was around 5:10 PM US PDT.
• Tried to log in at around 10:00 PM PDT, got the connection error(s) detected message. This lasted for a few seconds, then I got in. Played for about 45 minutes.
• Tried to log in at ~11:30 PM PDT. Connection error)s_ message. Been that way for 5 minutes or more with no joy.

The game crashed while playing WvW; and now the game won’t connect.

I have submitted the ticket already so hopefully anet will fix it soon.

There is a thread in the accounts/technical section with a dev response. “They are aware and looking into it” No more information yet.

Me too. I’m in FL and my power went out for a couple hours. But everything else works fine now, except GW.

Things like this happen in every MMO ever. I am sure it is as irritating for the devs, as much as it is for us, if not more, because they are actually hard at work at the moment to fix the issue, oppose to us, just sitting and waiting. Not sure why you feel entitled to any kind of compensation or “reward”, as you put it, but you are not. I work 7 days per week with only 1 day off and you dont hear me asking compensations, even tho the issue happened precisely in my day off, do you?

Please stop trying to make yourself such a special snowflake. Just sit and patiently wait the issue to get fixed like the rest of us in the game where you dont pay monthly subscribsions. Thank you.

Thank you for your opinion. I dont give a flying heck how much do you work, and I dont care how do you have 8 (7+1) days in a week. Not sure why do you want to teach someone to “behave”, but imo that doesnt correlate with “successful hardworking man” image you trying to create.
Also I dont know why are you talking about subscription. Do you really think I should thank Anet for non-sub status of the product I already bought? Seriously?

Last night everything still fine.. Today evening i’m not able to login restart and try to run in32bit and even use DNS .. not working .. i think we have to wait Anet to fix this.
