I got a lots of crash after update to the point that its unplayable.going to update GPU driver to see if its the cause.

Edit1: updating GPU not working. Running repair archive command.
Edit2: Repair not working Im downloading the .DAT file from the start.
Edit3: Nope I’m still crashing after redownloading the DAT file please send help!

I am unable to create a revenant, I checked my account and it shows my pre-purchase is active. I allowed the entire update to download and re-logged in and still nothing, it’s like
the content is still locked on my account?

I and a group of friends did the Prologue: Rally to Maguuma together. However, my mission was not updated after we had completed it. I can’t restart the mission, so i’m stuck with it on my guardian now. Does it happen to anyone else? Thanks for your help!

i’ve lost some achivement points, the original shadow of the mad king APs from 2012 are seems to be missing from the historical section…

After returning to the game the cutscene continued to freeze the client. After leaving the instance i can no longer return to it nor can i reset the progress to start it over.

Yep same here, just standing in silverwastes and cant get further!

The problem is, that we cant get back in the silverwasteinstance called “prolog of maguuma” where we have to find kasmeer,rox,braham etc.

Unlocked scrapper but I didn’t get exclusive exotic hammer. I unlocked 200 HP worth of specialization, not one by one.

game crashes at the cutscean right after talking the taimi and Canach fir the first time. also client crashes all the time when trying to download.

I am also experiencing this. Haven’t left the instance yet though. I was at the playable download stage but not complete. So I think I’ll to retry once the DL is finished and see if it changes anything.

Also lvled my rangers Elite spec in Pvp lobby and didn’t get a skin or achievement.

Happened to me too. I was invited in a party during he mission. The other guy progressed and I followed. After we finished everything I was back in the Silverwastes and couldn’t progress on my own.

Game is not fully downloaded yet. I will try again, when I have downloaded everything.

Fractal skin master is bugged – skins are unlocked in wardrobe but are not appearing in the Fractal Master achievement.

I’d like to add on to this, as its happening to me as well.

One thing I’d like to note is that the only skins the collection is not recognizing I have are the skins I received AFTER Fractured! but before Heart of Thorns.

Hello devs, love the expansion so far. I’ve been going to my characters unlocking the elite specializations, but when I point in the first 60 points for chronomancer, I did not get gifted the shield skin in the reward chest like all the other specialization unlocks. I was in Heart of the Mists at the time, so it might be a bug with unlocking while in a pvp setting. Thanks for all your hard work on developing, keep it up

I am currently unable to complete the prolugue mission. At the last rally point before the portal to verdant brink (after the escort and talking to all the LS npcs), I approach the green star. At that point the UI hides as if starting with a cut scene but instead the game becomes unresponsive. The standard anet crash UI does not appear

Same issue. Reloaded and repeated. Same result in the same spot.

Crashes when I get to meeting at the point heading into the jungle. Kicks me out of the instance and I can no longer get back into the instance, I’ve tried to close gw completely, leave the story and rejoin it, switch characters, manually walking to the portal but nothing seems to work, and yes the game fully patched…

Unlocking E-Specs in Heart of the Mists doesn’t give you the E-spec achivement.

My client wont move beyond Initializing… tried exiting and restarting but just getting the same every time.

I left the “Prologue: Rally to Maguuma” instance, and am currently unable to get back in to progress the story. Any help would be much appreciated!

“Torn from the Sky” quest doesn’t finish when you choose not to save the lost people.

Cant finish Prologue HoT. Did travel to a waypoint after defending Amber, and I guess got in to another instance, and all Story waypoins are gone and cant enter it again. Tried relogging, quit the story, WP outside Silverwastes and enter from the neighbourning zone, nothing helps.

I chrash every time I receive a ‘verdant brink tier based reward-HUD chest’. According to my party my crash happens EXACTLY every time they/we receive one of those.

Also, I had alot of trouble getting trough cutscenes (crash every time), but we fixed that by using a computer that was fully patched…

• So these errors, and everyone that has alot of chrashes are probably related to not being fully patched (‘playable’, seems to be stretching it quite far)

- Edit, the chrashes have nothing to do with being fully patched or not, altho I can now receive the chests at least, the chrashes continue…
-2nd edit, chrashes also occur every time any event in the area you are at STARTS…

So I played the first instance in the Silverwastes, that is “Prologue: Rally to Maguuma”, and everything was fine, I defended the fort, spoke with Taimi and Canach, but then when I approached the last green star, my UI went away, and it looks like it was supposed to start a cut scene, but the game was unresponsive, I couldn’t do anything. I heard some noises, sounded like some mordrem/animal grunts. After 3 minutes I Alt+F4 out of the game.

I waited until I finished the complete download of the game, but now I can’t get in Verdant Brink, because I haven’t complete the first story instance, but I also can’t replay the prologue, so I’m stuck with that character. The story thing sends me to SW, but there isn’t any green star inside the SW.
I just tried with another character after I let the game download to 100%, and this time it worked perfectly, the cut scene started and i was teleported into Verdant Brink in the “Torn from the Sky” Mission (or something similar).

I can’t do anything on the original character that I did it. Is there a way to reset the first story instance?

Also, because i’m stuck at Prologue: Rally to Maguuma mission. I can’t progress to unlock my mastery track in Maguuma.

Cant finish prologue to hot. crash at final stage stuck in silverswaste and cant reenter tutorial, havnt downloaded the game fully as I wasnt given time for prepatch with bad internet.

Major game breaking issue. Leaving the prologue will not allow you to reenter the instance to continue the story. You cannot unlock masteries and will be stuck on that character. Problem is easily repeatable just enter the prologue and leave the instance.

also missing around 50 ap,,,,,,, i had 17490 last night and thought will be 17500 today but i am 17454 now,,,,,,,

I hope there is a fix soon as Its game breaking and also prevents you from experiencing nearly any content from the expansion

Tried to get the Black & White wing gliders but by wearing the back pieces while taking to the scouts in Verdant Brink but haven’t unlocked the gliders

Can’t finish prologue. I travel to the last quest marker and the game freezes. It has happened three times now.

It’s a game breaking bug. If you leave the prologue you are stuck with no way to unlock masteries.

Guild Hall instance is crashing when people are trying to enter.

Also can not finish the first prologue too my story as my game crashed in the middle. Now it says to meet Taimi but i cant

unlocked the reaper weapon trait received great sword but unable to equip saying unable to be used by my profession

The last point in the prologue to heart of thorns has bugged for me it does not appear now when I go to the point. I was going through the prologue it crashed and now I can not continue the story

When i learned berserker elite spec i can use all his rage skills without learning them.

I don’t think it’s fixable unless you call in the voice actors all over again, but Rox and Canach sound kinda robotic or metallic, Rox especially. I dunno, they just don’t sound as clean and clear as the rest of the team

Yeah Topic says it, im wonderin why and if anyone else hase experienced this.

Downloading the whole game doesn’t resolve the issue for me.

Unlocked elite Reaper specialization in PvP, haven’t got neither achievement nor weapon and no collection unlocked. Another bug – I can equip and use all this character’s elite specialization skills, although unlocked only one with hero points.

I cannot use my class specialization at all, I learned it using my available hero points but I cannot equip the new weapon or the new skills…

Also, I believe in pvp it should be unlocked without the need to level it. I cannot use it in pvp either.

The Revenant achievements for mastering the trait lines did not unlock for me. I can not start the mistwarden collections due to this.

I have the same problem. Gonna try to play through it on another character so I can have masteries at least.

same issue occured to me

Spent my 200+ hero points to unlock reaper and all I got is a great sword I can’t use.

it didn’t give me my elite wep when I unlocked the traits on my ranger and a alt ele

Still not extra character slot…

I can’t use my elite spec because i unlocked it while in Spvp Lobby.
