I ran into a weird bug the other day. I reported it in game but I thought I would make a report here, too, because the developers constantly monitor this forum for new bugs.

I was in Tarir in the part of the meta event where you have to bid for exalted armor. There is a transformation there where skill 1 is bid and your other skills are disabled. Anyway, the last auction ended and I did not bid. I left the auction area and all my skills were disabled!

I participated in the meta event hoping to get rewards but I didn’t get any. I did not want to log out and log back in because the map was full. But, once I logged out and back in, my skills came back.

Please fix this bug.

I think using a warbler (or possibly an instrument?) can fix that bug.

I know some people have had the same issue but my revenants mistward achievements are still locked yet my specializations are 100% completed. Is there a way to fix this sense the pvp achievement fixer npc is gone?

For, at least, the past 3 days I participated in several Tarir meta events (all successful) and we got the meta message like we failed the event and got only 1 chest key as reward.

After talking to the other players I realized that many people has had the same issue lately.

Please have a look and fix this issue.

This often happens if the map had low Tier before the defense.

I was in a map from reset to meta event with a organised community. We got it to tier 4 and 200% participation for each individual. Completed the meta and everyone got 1 key, time well spent.

Nope…the maps were all maxed out before the defense, all pillars complete, etc.

I was 200% all the time also. And for what other players said, they were also at 200% participation, most of them.

Had the same problem, also reported it ingame.
I guess it was caused by porting out myself instead of waiting to get ported out by the event mechanic. Also dying to fall damage or creatures didn’t help. Further I also tried to unbug myself with another transformation, but that wasn’t possible too.

At all i was on a T4 map and even organized the meta event following then… without any skills… since the map was full i didn’t like to relog, because I wouldn’t be able to join back in and loose my pariticipation. So I just stayed, still organized that event chain and was pretty useless :S just could revive some downed ppl

Please fix it!!!

Client has crashed on me 3-4 times but only around the final DS boss area. I’ve been playing a lot of other parts of the world(SW,Teq, etc) and haven’t had any issues so I think it’s something specific to DS.

3 out 5 times my game client has crashed upon completion of the Octovine event. It doesn’t seem to matter which side I’m on. The last time it happened the game actually somewhat recovered but no text or tooltips were available. I still had to exit and restart the game. Anyone else have this problem?

I thought I wouldn’t have needed to type this, since others alsohad this problem, but apperantly I do. The Prologue is still bugged for me, 3 months after release! I did the Prologue on my guardian, with a friend, and it wasn’t my instance, so I never got to complete it. I got thrown out of the instance, but I have “Enter the Pact staging area.” checked. I am stuck on the story with my main character because of this!

Quit the episode, then click restart chapter. If that doesn’t work go to verdant brink entrance waypoint and walk back through the portal to SW.

I’ve already tried that, nothing works

If anyone have the same problem I had with “Prolouge: Rally to Maguuma”, try to do the following. I used the first waypoint in Verdant Brink, and entered the Silverwastes from there.

This made my story give me the next task. I could then go and enter the instance again and skip the tasks I already had done. I could then finally play “Thorn from the Sky” with my main character.

I haven’t played any more of the story on that character, but I haven’t encountered any more errors so far

3 out 5 times my game client has crashed upon completion of the Octovine event. It doesn’t seem to matter which side I’m on. Unfortunately yes, about 6 times right after octo event completion and couple times at Dragon’s Stand just this week. Using 64 bit client and pretty low settings too.
Only crashes i have ever experienced with GW2 btw.

There should really be some kind of a timeout before you get kicked out of the instance, i can relog back in like 10seconds, but even that is too slow.
Going to try reinstall/latest drivers/support now and if that doesn’t fix it then i’m out.

E: Great,map closed middle of Mouth of mordemoth with plenty of time left,everyone kicked out.

I recently bought Heart of Thorns having returned to GW2 after some months away, and generally liked it up until the final Personal Story mission “Hearts and Minds”, where I found that my glider would not open the second time Mordremoth activated his deadly ground attack.

This wouldn’t be so bad if the entire fight up until that point wasn’t an incredibly drawn out dodge fest against large bags of health, or dying didn’t send you right back to the start of the encounter.

I get frequent graphic lag since the newest patch. Not just in HoT maps.

The game also almost always crashes right at the end of large events, especially in the new HoT maps right before a meta event ends.

This is SO annoying because doing the meta start to finish takes a very long time and the crash right before the end means I don’t get rewards AND I get put into a different, empty map.

Cannot get Scout Acan to talk to one of my toons. Have progressed passed this point on other ones but now it will not progress.

I’m stuck at the end of The Predator’s Path. I’ve watched the last Taimi animation but it didn’t give me the credit for the achievement and advance to the next chapter. I’ve watched several youtube videos to see if I missed something, I’ve gone back to the last animation spot, there’s no marker for my Living story now in zone.

Update 3/8 With todays’ patch, Taimi Hologram is now showing, but I can’t interact with her to start the final instance for The Predator’s Path

update 6/6/16, still no change in the bug

It started late yesterday night and has continued to today, i am trying to log in but when i do the game freezes at the login screen while loading the map i am currently in. If i tab out, nothing happens and im still seeing the loading screen. if i ctrl+alt+delete i can sometimes, SOMETIMES, get out to the desktop then click the game and get in. I tried the old launcher, the 64 launcher, nothing seems to work. Today the ctrl+alt+delete thing didnt work either so.. im getting worried here.

Dear support team! Im tired to farming in this game because every crafting moment have a mistake, more of crafting materials not separated or not for sale.
what can I do with this for example?

and this materials(its dont needed) its all costs about 1000 gold 8(

Crashed @ octovine
Second time it’s crashed today, also my second day of owning HoT. Didn’t think it would still be this glitchy.

Didnt find any other place for the HoT legendaries so putting this here. I am at the HOPE III: prototype. In the collection hint for the Proximity test: megadestroyer, it says to stand near the chest after defeating it and then using the Synergetic Reactor. I did so. tried all around the chest, inside the chest. but didnt get the collection. I have gotten it from all others.

I try to get the soul mirror, but the npc doesn’t show the text to get it. Wiki says you can get it after the sediment subquest, but Burnisher Kengo starts with the next subquest and gives no option to get the item. I only sometimes saw a vendor window during the meta event with the octovines. This vendor window although showed only karma, gold and available, but this window closes automatically again in 1 second (see image). I already did the event chain four times. I also tried it with another character. Could it be that the NPC is broken?

Edit: I already had a soul mirror in my inventory all this time, but still the vendor screen that appears shortly and disappears is still strange.

What: Slothasor completely disappeared for unknown reasons at about 45% HP. First, there was a big green hit AoE, he disappeared and then the room just reset. Only happened to us once.

Where: Sanctum Scramble mini-game in HoT.
What: Skill #1 (dragon wings?) is missing, making it nearly impossible to finish in the time limit, let alone in the Silver time needed for the specialisation collection.

Prized Possessions story mission can’t be finished anymore. The #1 skill after taking the egg is no longer there so you can’t jump up in the chase section.

Im playing on a MAC and the game keeps crashing – its happens more often when taking part in meta events or world boss fights.

I am currently working on The Flameseeker Prophieces III.
To complete it, I am needed to kill the Champion War Beast
(http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Slay_the_centaur_war_beast).
For the event to start it requires the Nebo Terrace to be taken by the centaurs
(http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Prevent_the_centaurs_from_capturing_Nebo_Terrace) which is a little annoying since that event is fairly easy to accomplish by a random passerby.

When you sell things on the Black Lion Trading Post, they disappear from your inventory and your money for the listing fee is taken, but the items don’t appear on your sales page and they’re never sold

Gliding Bug of Death!

Have been noticing an unusual gliding bug in HoT. Happened more on my Asura that other characters, but happened to one of the more normal sized characters the other night too.

Am gliding along, perhaps sliding along terrain or walls/cliffs near the edge of a zone to bypass them wretched pocket raptors… then the gliding controls no longer work. No hover or speed up, directional only. That’s when I know the ‘gliding death bug’ awaits! Every time this happens my character dies the very moment of landing.

Seen this happen a few more times when flying over vined pathways, and am guessing this is the game’s way of retaliation for flying over a blocked pathway – or is it a terrain issue?

My games crashes ALL the time, every time, either in the middle or right at the end of a Meta Event!

please help, my glider wings do not let me deploy them after I am in the air flying, just drops me to the ground no matter where I am in the jungle when I should be getting the message deploy glider wings

I am doing the ley line run adventure and got the 45 second (GOLD). but the game failed to give me my gold reward. included is a screen shot of my 45 second run.

I am trying to do the sanctum scramble run adventure, but in my skill bar is missing skill 1. see the included screen shot.

Finished, “From Howl to Silence”, with my charr. Did not recieve the mastery point as indicated. Contacted customer svc, after several exchanges, was told to post the problem here in hopes the devs would see it and address it. Any help would be much appreicated.

I am getting error 1022:5:1:874:101 whilst doing the story instances in Verdant Brink. Has happened on the last few (now on Prisoners of the Dragon). I will get kicked out of a story instance 4/5 times. This is the first playthrough on this character (second overall).

Windows 8.1, 64 bit client, very good internet that is definitely NOT dropping either to the house or this computer as this doesn’t affect other types of play in this game or other games and I can continue to watch Twitch or Netflix during a disconnect with no slow down.

Story instances are currently unplayable. Help!

I just got crashed when DS meta event just end
when i relog and i cant even join the map
i do that meta event from the begining and i dont have chances to get my reward

I had that problem once, apparently that’s the time you actually have to beat! Matching it will not give you credit, you must get :44 to actually get it…

I think that’s actually intentional too – unless ofc a GM steps in and says otherwise… =\

Please fix DS bug. We can’t play if we can’t revive, wp or join map again. Lost 2 meta maps because of this bug and I played them from the beginning. That’s about 3-4 lost hours of gameplay.

Dragon Stand keeps crashing. Two times within 5 minutes after DS just reset.
Crashing for the map. happened on ip 191 and now on 150.

I’ve been trying to get the Munition Re-upper achievement at Dragon Stand, since it’s the one of the very first event it hasn’t been easy. When I finally got the achievement and mastery completed, the map…kicked players? disconnected? reset? rebooted?

I don’t know what actually happened but the map restarted and I lost the achievement. This has happened twice this week. Is there any way to get the completed achievement back, besides trying for an organized map from the very start?

I fell down to the bottom of the map in Verdant Brink and defeated. I tried to return to a Waypoint but nothing happened. Have attempted this several times, still nothing happened and worse, it charged me the Waypoint fee for every attempt (lost nearly 10 silvers trying to return now but I’m still stuck!)

I posted a few minutes ago (don’t see my post now but did earlier) and forgot to mention where I was when it happens that after dying I can’t go to waypoint. I pop right back to my death scene. This happens to me in Verdant Brink. I tried going to different waypoints within Verdant Brink but none would work. Finally when I tried a waypoint outside of Verdant Brink (Lion’s Arch) it worked. But I want to play in Verdant Brink to finish it up and this is disappointing.

The “Destroy the tendrils and their source” event in daytime Verdant Brink is bugged. This is the last thing I need for the Pact Camper achievement. It’s been a bug for so long it’s documented on the official wiki at http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Verdant_Brink ("Bug Bug: Destroy tendrils and their source often stalls preventing progress of a map to tier 4.) Please look into this one!

I am trying to earn my glider training and both of my charactors died in the live trees and both cannot get out as when I click the waypoint I am still dead in the trees… grrr

Add Tangled Depths Meta to the Crashing Maps list…

Been spending the last 10 days doing Prized possessions over and over again, gotten really good at running with the egg but for some odd reason after the end dialoge nothing happens no reward no update nothing. It is totally bugged send in 3 reports and even they have no idea if anyone knows how to get the dammed thing to end and give me my reward so I can move on to the next story I would greatly appreciate it.

HoT personal story step 13 (Buried Insight). You are supposed to escort Taimi and protect her, but she stops moving at random points, even through there are no enemies around. I’ve restarted the instance and she bugged again at another point. I cannot complete this story step while this is bugged.

I am so unbelievably kittened off at the final quest of HoT. Nothing works. I’ve spent the past 1.5 hours fighting Mordremoth, repeatedly having the vents not launch my character into the air. Then I randomly get DC’d. I come back in, finish Braham’s fight, then complete Caith’s fight, only to have the story not trigger after attempting to activate the rift 20+ times.

I picked Recruit’s Pack and done Story “Prized Possessions” but haven’t received reward Resilient Vigil Belt .
