I accidentally stood down while fighting, now I can’t represent again.

Hi. I did spend influence point on upgrading “Research Architecture Level 2”. The building time is over but when i look in the architecture catagory im still able to upgrade it and when I look in the history it wasnt canceled. So the 1000 points are gone and we got nothing for it.

I made a guild, and I have the influence to start working on an upgrade, but the ADD button under the upgrade is grey’d out and won’t let me select it. I cannot promote members of the guild to higher ranks. When Editing the permissions of the individual ranks, I can’t seem to uncheck boxes already checked. I can make new ranks, but I can’t delete them afterwards.

Plz solve this problem, seems im not the only 1, and its strange for a game whats called GUILD wars.

Hello, I spent 5000 influence points on the politics level 3 upgrade yesterday night but checked again this morning and it disappeared from the build queue. Influence log still reads that the points were spent. Please help with the issue, thanks in advance.

Issue:
After the server crash on 9/23/12 at around 11PM EST, the upgrades we had queued just disappeared from the building list. The two upgrades we had going were Politics Level 4 and 10% Increased influence from events. The history shows that the upgrades were queued and never canceled. The influence from queuing them is gone and the two are shown as available upgrades.

Spend 2 gold to buy for 1000 influence from the guild promoter... the gold got deducted and no influence was added. o.O

1)spent 1000 influence on architecture 2 and it went missing few hours before completion. This is very frustating please check it out please.
2)used my letter of commendation didnt get 400 influence.

same problem here, and it worked just fine couple of days ago (one update earlier).

I created my guild a few weeks ago, and we had been doing well, got research going, got to Guild Stash research, started that Saturday Morning, logged in Monday Morning (about 2 hours after it was due to finish) and on all of my characters, I can see the guild screen, browse roster and all that. Guild Stash shows up as being completed, however when I go to the guy in Rata Sum, he says I’m not in a guild and he can’t help me. All the guild vendors there tell me I need to join a guild. I cannot even open the vendor who sells influence which I had access to before. All characters on same account have same problem. With one of my characters I clicked Stand Down to see if that would help, but it didn’t, and now I can’t click Represent again, I click it but nothing happens.

Guild Bank NPC Sanctum of Rall Lion’s Arch.. says our Guild (HoL) has not built any storage yet but we had a guild bank with plenty of things in it. personally deposited things for guildies last evening and now it’s gone.

Today on my character i went to access my guild bank and it was telling me that i wasnt part of a guild and couldnt access the bank. So i logged out and relogged in and still wouldnt let me access my guild bank. So then i tried unrepresenting and re representing and now it wont even let me represent my guild. It will let me on 2 of my other characters but not on my main.

Yesterday our guild leader visited another server. Today I had no access to my guild’s bank, armorer and was unable to build new upgrades. But, once I was on the Lion’s Arch overflow, I had access to all guild functions…?

I am having trouble with the represent option for guilds on my main character: Ragnarr Redmane. I have another character, an asura called Ziggiwoo which IS capable of representing guilds and all other functions work. It is the main character however that can LEAVE guilds but never represent and therefore is locked out of guild chat etc. This feature was working yesterday and since then I have only played him to advance personal story and done WvW. I first noticed it when a second guild invited me and after having stood down from representing KORS, I tried to represent Gunnar’s Hold GBH and that failed.
I have now left all my guilds and had a friend re-invite me to one called Vindictum [VM] and after multiple relogging attempts and subsequent failures.. I am at a loss as to how I should fix this since I don’t want to have to delete my main character or train up a whole new one just to have a decent time in WvW helping my friends.
It should also be noted that a strange side effect seems to be showing in my Contacts page that my status does not change back to Online when I click it. It remains on looking for a group.
Help would be appreciated greatly!

Ever since the last server crash, I can’t either stand down nor represent any guild.

I am the GM of guild Croce Rozza and i keep getting visual/technical bugs with the guild management system.
Most of the time i cannot see the upgrades being researched or cannot click on the upgrades myself (tried to relog etc, tried to let a guild mate do the upgrade and it works..).

For anyone interested, it appears that ArenaNet is aware of the issue, per the response I got to my support ticket:

“Hi [name],

Unfortunately, the Guild Wars Support Team does not have a way to manually fix guilds at this time. However, this is a known issue and we are working toward a solution that should affect everyone with this same problem when it is implemented.

You do not need to submit a bug report, sorry for the confusion on that. ArenaNet is already tracking the issue.

Ok, just so ya’ll know, I was having all kinds of issues mentioned here, and I fixed it by running the game with -repair. This fixed ALL my issues.

Tried -repair, no change

Sadly the -repair didn’t fix my problem either. Still leader of a guild (Terranova, on Gandara) with no permissions to my rank. Seriously getting impatient now, my guild has been broken since I got the game four weeks ago…

Earlier I purchased the “Research Politics Level 1” for 500 Influence points at . As soon as I purchased it the item was queued as normal. I logged off for a few hours and now it has disappeared from the queue. If it was possible I would like that to be added to the queue with the amount of time that is suppose to be left.

Guild representing seems to be broken, click represent button and nothing happens.

I get a network error everytime I try to join a new guild. I was able to join guilds in the past but since the recent update I get a pop-up with an error claiming that I need to check my internet connection.

My new guild Warlords Of Orrian Thrall (WOOT) on Sanctum of Rall, finally got enough influence to queue my first research (politics 1) and after a few hours of it being in queue it is no longer showing up, I also can now see the add button under politics 1 again but I don’t have the influence to research it again and I shouldn’t have to. Please fix this so it finishes my research or I get my 500 influence back. It’s currently a very small guild since it’s new and I would hate to have to lose out on those 500 influence.

Thanks in advance I hope this gets fixed soon so I can queue up and research guild emblems.

*Seems the new build has temporarily fixed my problem as my politics 1 is now showing up again under my queue, I just hope it stays that way until it’s finished.

We used the Guild Promoter in Lion’s Arch to buy drinks. We bought 12g worth of drinks. 6x Drinks for the City. This should have given us 6000 influcence but we are yet to receive any. We then tried to buy again about 2 hours later and influence was applied.

We are still missing the 6000 influence from the first round of drinks. Will this be applied?

logged in to get char influence, and it didn’t increase, swapped to another char and still no influence.
My son logged in & no influence gain either.
clicked “stand down” on 1 char, and then can’t “represent” any guild… click the button, and it does the trigger annimation, but no representation.
Also did a couple of DE’s with my son, both representing the guild, and no influence gain.

“Upgrade” Issues between Servers / Worlds

There appears to be a loss of upgrade history when a guild member moves to a different home world.

I have currently have two guild wars accounts, my main one is using “Arrowmaster.7194”, and my second one uses “Lady Ann Rose.2064”.

Description of Problems

As some of our members including two officers changed home world to help friends, I did so myself on my main account from the normal home world of “Crystal Desert” to temporary one of “Gate of Madness”.

I was most put out to find I could not use our guild vault, with the NPC saying we did not have one, so checked the upgrade history (see attached snapshot upgrades_gofm.jpg). None of the upgrades that I did were listed, but some upgrades were listed carried out by one of our officers named “WHO.5421”.

On simultaneously logging in to my “Lady Ann Rose.2064” account from a different computer, the upgrades that I did were all listed correctly (note: this account is still using the “Crystal Desert” home server / world (see attached snapshots upgrades_cd1.jp and upgrades_cd2.jpg).

My Questions

1) Are Guilds and Guild Upgrades meant to work across all worlds?

2) Can our guild be credited with the 1000 influence spent by “WHO.5421” on the “Gate of Madness” server, for building “Architecture Level 1” and “Guild Workshop”, which I had already built as “Arrowmaster.7194” on the “Crystal Desert” server / world?

3) When is the “guest” world / server stuff going to be implemented and how will that effect Guilds and Guild Upgrades?

Notes:
1. I blanked out part of the “Message of the Day” text in green in the snapshots, but it was shown identically on the two servers, even though the update history was different.

2. I will be moving my main “Arrowmaster.7194” account back to the “Crystal Desert” server / world as soon as I am able to (in something under 2 hours time, a day after I switched yesterday).

Guild leader (me) has no permissions except to edit groups lower than own and every other square is greyed out. Can’t edit MOTD, add upgrades, etc.

spent 1000 influence to research Architecture lvl2, saw the queue working and logged out a couple hours after. Today there is nothing in the queue, the influence is still spent and seems the upgrade must be purchased again.

2 weeks, nothings happened no info no updates? Fixed things like footsteps to loud i mean come on seriously! Posted on here before and put a ticket ingame.

Issues with guild control were fixed it seems but now the art of war upgrade lvl 2 that was purchased yesterday has been canceled and it appears it needs to be purchased again. Shadows of Madness <SoM> on Sorrows Furnace.

Issue: Yesterday morning around 9:30 AM EDT, I queued Art of War I, and it was still in my build queue as of around 1130 PM EDT. This morning, I logged in and it was no longer in the build queue, despite not having been cancelled, as it does not appear as cancelled in the history log, nor does a refund of 1000 influence appear.

We have no permissions in our guild and leader cant do much else than invite members to the guild.

I figured out that somehow Ebonhawke/Fields of Ruin is bugged as two characters could NOT represent while in that area, but if they took the portal to Divinitys Reach they could.

edit: on Character: Ping Fori, other characters could access bank.
edit2: reading the above posts, I moved Ping to Rata Sum, (from Lion’s Arch) there she could represent the guild again.

Newly created guild and as guild leader I have no permissions. only one I have checked is edit ranks and even then i cannot even do that.

Seems the problem lies with Lion’s Arch – after not being able to access anything guild-related, moving to Rata Sum worked. Moving back to Lion’s Arch broke it all again.

In both my real guild and my testing guild, there is a problem with the influence that is given for members logging in each day. In my main guild, the number of members that logged in on one day sometimes exceeds the number of members that are in the guild, but its not that easy to see bacause of the number of members, and bacause after 300 influence gain on one day, there is only one more influence per logged in member. But in my one member testing guild, on some days i get no influence at all even thou i was logged in and representing the guild with at least one character, on other days i get one to three members logged in even thou there is only one person in the guild (me), giving 10 to 30 influence per day. I tested to log in on every character to see if it is characters logged in instead of members, but the maximum number of times that i am counted seems to be three.
The numer of days where i get more influence then i should due to ‘multiple persons’ logging in, and the numer of days where i get no influence at alle even it out a little bit, but on average i get more influence then i should in my one-Asura guild. To give some numbers, in the last 31 days i got 400 influence from logged in members, even thou in a 1 member guild the maximum should be 310.

same here…just set up the guild,used a “Tome of Influence” got my 1000 influence but cannot build anything as all my “permissions for leader” boxes are greyed out…..
so im in a guild that cannot do anything in a game called guild wars……..questions anyone???
