ugh i knew i shouldnt of trusted NCsoft again after gw1’s awesome™ support..

Ive got the same problem, showing 1 member, ( me ) no influence, no hisotyr, i dont even show as a rank, was just about to complete politics lvl 1, had arch lvl 2 on the go,

and here i find weeks of problems listed, with NO RESPONSE, not even “thanks for letting us know, were currently working on it please be patient”

Inevitable Destiny guild on Ehmry Bay server. When I made the guild, I didn’t think much of messing with the privileges right away. I started to notice that it was bugged in every way. I can literally not do one thing. I can’t upgrade, promote, delete, change absolutely anything within my guild. I can’t kick members out so i can disband and make a new one either. I would like to keep my original guild and its members and influence if possible. At least use the name again in a new one. Thanks

I created a guild about 2 weeks ago, Throne [THRN] on Gate of Madness, and haven’t been able to control anything in the guild. I am the leader but I cannot promote, edit ranks, build or upgrade anything. In fact the only thing that any of us (my friends or I included) is invite more people.

Same here, I created my guild 1 or 2 weeks ago, I’m the leader but I cannot do anything. No upgrades, cannot promote. When I go to the leader rights section, the only right I have is to edit the ranks. And the only thing I can edit is the name. Seriously annoying, and I see I’m not the only one. Hope there is a fix soon.

Why are there still no updates for this? Information?

I’ve just created a guild. By default I got the Leader rank, but I didn’t get any of the permissions that come with it. As a result I can’t kick members, promote, or change the message of the day. When I try and promote a member, no option is given to me when I right click. The only things I can do is create new ranks (with only the edit rank and new member boxes available to tick). Under the Leader rank the only box ticked is Edit Rank.

I too am getting very irritated by the lack of progress/feedback on this issue. I suggest you post a daily update to this forum on the progress on this point.

I would also suggest that if you cannot fix this issue in a reasonable time frame you consider compensation for the users effected (a token to shorten build times perhaps).

At Dawn with Knives [DAWN] was created shortly after the game went life on Kaineng and on or arounad 9/13 the guild vanished from every character withint the guild. Anything and everything the guild leader unlocked and researched is gone.

Rezoning, reloging, etc does nothing. The guild ceases to exist and all influence vanished with the guild.

LOL, I just got email from guild wars 2 team suggesting I join a guild for the social aspects. You would think they would try to get the issues fixed before inviting more trouble tkts.

About one week ago sometime after switching from Ft Aspenwood to HoD our guild lost access to the guild bank.
All upgrades are gone. The last upgrade was Guild Treasure Trove. As soon as that had finished we lost all ability to access upgrades.
Our accumulated influence is gone and the influence earned keeps disappearing after a few days. On average we have been earning >1000 influence per day.

Issue: I am the leader, but do not have permission to do anything. Nothing works as intended but the only thing that works is gaining guild influence.

About a week ago, my friends and I made a new guild, and those of us who had the 400 influence items from story missions used them. Our guild leader also bought a 1k influence drink. The influence items he used never showed up (a total of 1,400 influence) while those used by other guild members worked fine. Regardless of this, none of the guild functions work, and it seems as though the guild leader rank has no privileges to do anything except create new ranks and rename ranks. Since creating the guild, leadership has been passed twice by the previous leader leaving and re-joining the guild.

our guild broke for a bit ( no one other than yourself online no influence and its generally broken)but now the guild has dissapeared all together so we decided to cut our losses and create a new guild with the same name (Mistfits [MIST] on sea of sorrows but it displays an error window sayin the name of the guild is already in use. halp…

Issue: Myself as guild leader has no permissions available. I seem to be only able to gain influence, edit ranks and invite people.

I made a guild for myself a few days ago. So far, I’ve also been unable to edit ranks and fully utilize my guild (like others). I can only invite and change rank names. Also, I used two Tomes of Influence (both from storyline) on my guild and neither of the Influence boosts have shown up, costing me 1400 Influence.

I still can only edit ranks in my guild, I’m the Guild Leader and I can’t advance my guild because I can’t que upgrades, We have been gaining influence for the guild upgrades and I can’t even use them because the game doesn’t recognise me as the leader, So i still can’t:

1. Que Upgrades
2. Promote/Kick Players
3. create the Message of the day
4. Delete the Guild (if there’s a way, how?)
5. Anything a Leader is supposed to do, all I can do is edit ranks, I had to ask a few guild members to leave an rejoin so they would start at the officer rank.

When is there going to be a fix? If you guys are working on it, how about some recognition rather than just leaving us in the dark?

Another day with no update from devs about missing permissions? Could we at least get an info that youre working on fixing it?

BTW: 2 days ago i got my support ticket closed with information that it’s fixed…

I am still in the same situation as you, and I posted about this and opened a support ticket 6 days a go, and still no word. (Other than an automated response I received immediately after I opened a support ticket.)

I am not trying to be a whiney baby about this, I am quite sure there is a lot of stuff going on, but at least a little info would be helpful. Is it a known issue with a fix in the works? Is it a complete mystery but its being worked on? That at least I can understand, but radio silence after opening a support ticket is kind of aggravating.

I think we’re on day 9 or 10 of not having a guild and it’s been almost a week since Cam gave us an update on here. I think he have to assume that they won’t be making any more updates on this via the forum. The sad thing is we can’t even recreate our old guild because it says it already exists. Less people are logging in every day and frankly if this is not fixed soon I’m pretty sure we will be done playing gw2. It is what is it and I’m not really complaining. It’s a bug that isn’t there on purpose which is obviously very difficult to fix and may not ever be able to be fixed. What I will complain about is the sudden lack of communication here. Cam was doing a great job of keeping us apprised of the status, but the last post saying we would be updated was almost a week ago. I will keep checking the forum for an update but I don’t have my hopes up.

i have been unable to join guilds from about a week into launch, at the start i joined 4 guild 1 being my own, and a friend sent me another invite to another guild (this being the 5th), i got an error (code=3040:1002:3:1950:101) when i tried to join this guild.

so i left 1 guild to try join and still get the error, so now im down to 3 guilds at this point.
i start to think maybe the max amount of guilds i can be in is 3 guilds and the game bugged out and let my join the 4th on week 1.
so to test this i then left another guild to try accept an invite and still this error comes up, im now down to 2 guilds and no matter what guild i try to accept the invite to i still get the error.

its not that the invite has timed out or anything as some of the invites i tried to accept the very min i got them this is happening with every guild invite not just 1 or 2, its up to 4 or 5, doesnt seem to matter what the tag is.

please help i am in only 1 guild with friends and 1 guild i own, i have alot of friends in all dif guild and i am not able to join them.

i do alot of WvW and would like to join a guild dedicated to that aswell.

Yup same problem here, I am unable to access upgrades, edit ranks, change message of the day, promote people to different ranks. Basically the only thing I can actually do is invite people the guild, and create new ranks that only allow people to create new ranks, its horribly broken.

Same issue as everyone else, no access to anything.

I am the leader of the guild ‘The Fayettevillains’ on server Gate of Madness. I do not have leader permissions for the guild, and thus I cannot purchase upgrades, promote officers, etc.

If a fix is possible, I would be grateful.

I’m having the same issue. Also, I can invite people to the guild, but when I checked with the guild registrar for a guild expansion it told me I didn’t have invite privileges.

Same issue as others have mentioned. I created a new guild today for testing and the leader and officer do have the default correct permissions; it must be a problem at the time the other guild was created. Please advice.

I started the guild Hells Rejects over two weeks ago on Ehmry Bay. For no reason my son and I and the guild were brought to a French server. I had some problems and after seeing so many people talking FRENCH I figured out that we were not in Kansas anymore. SO I manually move to Gate of Madness with my son, to find out that our guild points do not follow and are only good on the server, so we manually move back to Ehmry Bay where all the guild points were in the first pace. SO last night I log in and the guild is now gone.

I am not happy!

FINALLY! the influence gain works again.

Is there a chance I get either:

1.) My 2G back
2.) All the influence that I should’ve gained?

New influence items work, but what I lost I don’t have back
