So. How about that IE?
So, what on earth is going on with Spatial Surge at the moment? It seems to be showing up cumulative damage numbers between each use, but often it simply shows no damage numbers at all. I was in WvW earlier and attacking a Veteran Scout and there were absolutely no damage numbers and every 3rd use of Spatial Surge was being obstructed. It was truly bizarre.

That one has been there for ages, I think the first time I randomly triggered it was after the patch in which they changed the borderlands map. I was sure it had been fixed…

Yeah, I’ve known and used this since like forever but felt it would get fixed quick if I actually reported/shared it. Now that my faith in ANet’s bugfixing is at all time low I stopped caring. Though I do believe ANet already knows about this glitch because most mesmers who min/max already know about it and its not like it was a secret anyways.

Once upon a time, there was a stationary working warden. But then the “Buffs” appeared and everything changed … Since then we are waiting for the ANetar to save us!
Like someone else said, it’s pretty much 50/50 on whether or not iWarden attacks now. I actually had better odds pre-feature patch “fix,” honestly. It’s even more buggy than it was.
It makes the phantasm unpredictable and pretty useless. I really hate using focus now, since there’s now only one useful skill on it, but unfortunately Temporal Curtain is just too useful in a lot of situations to completely give up. Still feels like a wasted weapon slot sometimes, though, since most of our damage comes from phantasms, and our focus phantasm won’t do damage >.>.
Can we get our iWarden back, please?

Some light: if by any chance Chinese guys prefer self-replicating mesmers to solo warriors, we may get some fixes. If by any chance Chinese guys prefer furry chars to Caucasian humans, we may also see fixes to charr armour clipping.
But well, I highly doubt that charr mesmers would be the dominant race-class combo in China. But we can dream, right?

I was looking through some of my old WvW footage the other day and I got all teary and fuzzy when I saw my Phantasmal Warden attack every single time I summoned it. It was a bit like watching a video of an old friend who had long since passed away.

Exactly my toughts. I can’t imagine going in dungeons without temp. curtain…
Anet, at least you could change descriptions of all our skills… erm… i mean phantasms to “50% chance to attack your target”, until you…. erm…. fix them?

I’m afraid that Chinese might not even be able to fall in love with mesmer in the first place, because they’ll be immediately turned off by all the bugs… At least we were playing mesmer at times when most of these bugs were non existent.
Seriously Anet please fix these bugs. It is starting to get really annoying to not be able to rally since my Irouges just #STARES at the enemy, What is the point with the skills if they don’t work. Worked fine pre feature pack, except Iwarden in that case

and they can’t fix it…and won’t revert it.

I always viewed a stationary warden as a bug. ANet making him able to move was a step in the right direction. The fact they instead completely broke it’s actual purpose (reliable reflect) is where everything went wrong.

Good morning mesmers,
Going to touch on a few items that are still being reported as issues post 4/15.
- Portal: This utility was given a skill-fact for range (5000). I personally like the suggestion of mini-map markers, and I’ll bring it up with the team, but I don’t think that was ever planned for this release. Sorry for the confusion.
- Illusionary Elasticity: I’ll have this looked at again.
- Illusionary Warden: We made some changes for Illusionary Warden for 4/15. Can you guys elaborate on how its behaving now?
- Illusionary Counter issues with MS/IC: These issues are still open in our tracker and did not make it into this release.

This thread really depresses me Guild Wars 1 was (at least for me) a largely bug-free experience. What’s changed, ANet? It feels like we’re being completely ignored in favour of other development work when bugs should take first priority.
I don’t understand the update cycle. Can’t we get 5 random class related bug fixes a week? (That are not tool tip updates.) Then maybe eventually this list will decrease.
For those few skills that are pretty much a “we don’t have the tech to fix this” can priority reworks be put in it’s place?
Make a statement along the lines of “for the next few months contextual balance will be out of whack while we preform polish.”
We had a major update going into spring. Cool, the game is at an awesome place in terms of content, we beat a major boss opening up the world to another threat we need to prepare for. During the healing process let’s use this as a down time to follow up on mechanics.

Temporal Curtain.
It is intended to not stack with anything. But, that makes the Description of the skill wrong. It says “grants swiftness”, and we know Swiftness stacks in duration.
Temporal Curtain does not stack with anything.
It needs to be “fixed” to work with other Swiftness sources. A total rework of the skill if need be.
Mesmers have little long distance mobility. Try to stay with an Edge of the Mist zerg as a Mesmer, and notice how you drift toward the back. You get less damage on champs, and you get less loot drops because you get zero credit. It sucks.
Temporal Curtain is bugged. If I have 1-3 seconds left of Swiftness because a Guardian gave it to me, and I lay down my Temporal Curtain to give me ~17 seconds of swiftness, and instead I get zero seconds, this is very wrong. The smaller cooldown prevented me from getting my own superior Boon, and causes me to fall out of swiftness, and I get left behind until my cooldown is ready.
I can’t stop others from giving me boons that will harm me.
This is broken
Please do something.
They will change the tooltip for Temporal Curtain and call it “bugfix”.
I guarantee it.
I’m still pretty godkitten mad that they didn’t fulfill their promise of fixing the iWarden’s erratic behavour, while also breaking it further, so it now only reflects projectiles back at their source when the source is next to the iWarden.

i hope devs actually start working on these, cause the list is getting longer and longer.also next time dear devs: these are bug fixes, not buffs, so please dont try to camouflage a bugfix as working on a class. working on our class, improving things that arent well right now like being viable in wvw raids for example is separate from this.
these bugs here dont need to wait till next balance patch. we have waited long enough for many of these to be fixed. so please next patch try to fix a few bugs.
well after all nerfs, we are sorta thief ranger ai pet class now..problem is that our pets are so buggy that every fight is pure luck nowadays. if u are lucky your skills work when u need them, but the bug make fighting a pain and as im running with a zergbusting guild these bugs make my mes not viable anymore. fixing all the bugs sure would make me use my mes again, but for now ill switch to necro, im tired of veilbotting and tired of the bugs!aaand the list keeps getting longer and longer….

I like the bug where opponents that have reflect can generate any number of themselves when they reflect scepter #1 3rd shot multiple times. There is a funny youtube of it by woodenpotatoes (he had over 10 clones of his mage) when he was cooperatively pvp’ing with a mesmer.
i dont know whats changed …. but lately Illusionary Leap bugs me at least 30% (more or les flat terain) of usage …. he stops on half way, sometimes he even dont get there (read half way) …. so i use very often 2 skills for nothing (ILeap and BFrezny). I play Wvw a lot … and im also sick of stucking in ground which happends with staff 2nd skill (phase retreat). Break stun skills are also bugged …. like Decoy, Mirror images, Blink … im not sure for signet. So it happens that i use skill and im still stuned (how can be?). I really like this game … but it can makes me really nervous too …. so please do something about bugs. We paid for game and we ecxpecting that you will listen us (your costumers). Otherwise your future wont be bright. Its just my opinion. Have a great day. I apologies for typos and bad language
