Servers having a hard time..

Still disconnect only when doing story line quests, always at start or end of cut scenes. You would think they would look into the story line disconnects. If this was a connection issue on my side it would happen outside story line quests also, but it doesn’t.

i have exactly the same problem. Get disconnect in story but only on the end of cut scenes. No issue in PvE mode

Getting this error after every EOTM (and only EOTM) match about 5 mins after timer hits zero. In other words getting disconnected instead of relocated after the match is over. Issue started about a week ago. Tested with and without router on both 32/64 clients.

Update-

Still have over 20 disconnects a day with the 7:11:3 error.. keep it up ANET.. goodjob

I’m guessing it’s something to do with their end. If you read through the posts you’ll notice it happened to people all over the World; including the US (have a guildy from there with the same issue).

Additionally, I note that this does not happen all the time (at least not for me anyway), but when it does, GW2 is completely unplayable; we’re talking dc’s every minute, literally. Perhaps this has something to do with Anet switching servers / routers or something on their end every now and then ?

Try doing Retrospective Runaround with dc’s. Definitely not fun when you dc in mid jump and about half way through (rolls eyes).

Tons of latency, lag and skill lag here, very few disconnects. It works well for a few minutes, then it freezes and fastforwards.

yup, having the same issue. I’ve been playing earlier today and had no probs. This just came up. It is impossible to connect to the game server.

btw i did not notice any changes in my connection

Just happened to me today i restarted laptop ,internet,diagnose(?),troubleshoot nothing came up. . .
is the server full?

I tried /clientport 80, I tried using a VPN. There’s nothing that seems to work. A fix would come in handy.

ITS HAPPEN AGAIN I have the same problem when i download last path and i login in game – 30 sec and dc to menu over over again………. 7:11:3:191:101 error

Same kitten happening to me again since the patch.
I can’t play any instance, Living Story, sPvP, Dungeon.
Open maps work fine but as soon as I zone inside an instance, take couple of steps forward and.. CONNECTION kittenING ERROR!

Having the same problem.. All the time.. I can’t even add the gem cards I bought to my account without being kicked

Yeah i got that problem and error to since Tuesday. But last 3 days i cant log in to game. Even if ? log in i am gettin dc in 1 min. Already submit a ticket about ti and waitin for results.

Same here. Used to be able to play a good hour or so, now I can’t connect at all. Still waiting for a reply from them. Starting to think that the Halloween event brought out more people than what their servers are capable of handling.

It’s been doing seemingly random dcs for about a week now maybe more. Getting really old. This is the only game i have problems with.

I just started getting connection issues yesterday as well. Ran some tests, and there is packet loss in between node/links. Not experiencing this with any other online games. This is an issue with anet servers, effecting only a small amount of users it seems. Or perhaps, a node has gone bad.

I’ve had this issue for a number of weeks now as well, and it’s getting worse. I’m fine when I miss a Tequatl because of it for example, since there are more opportunities during a day, but only yesterday while doing WvW I got disconnected with this error message 6 times during just 20 minutes. Needless to say I gave up and logged off.

The game has been unplayable for me for the last 4 days.
high Ping and then disconnects.
Never had this problem before, played since beta.

I have the same problem here in Brazil

The daily struggle.
Ping is jumping all 3s over 300ms++. Its unplayable

Trying to play on Dredgehaunt Cliffs and everyone is getting disconnected at the same time every 15 minutes or so. Error code: 7:11:3:189:101. This is making the game almost unplayable. Are there any updates on this issue?

I’ve had this problem for a while, initially I couldn’t even log in to the client (I have no idea how I fixed this, I remember changing the name of the Gw2-64 application to simply “Gw2” and it seemed to work.

However now, after spending nearly a week trying to fix that issue, I just consistently disconnect regardless of anything, I can’t even run the -repair command line as it stops responding after a quarter way through.

It seems a lot of people have this issue, will it be resolved anytime soon? I’m a huge fan of this franchise and would love to play it for the coming years and it’s such a shame many people are plagued with these constant disconnections.

Error code: 7:11:3:189:101 – Any notes on this would be greatly appreciated.

It’s getting old..

Yesss just happened with me now and cannot log back at all for half an hour now…
So the issue is not with me I guess…

This has been happening to me also and I’m from Finland. been trying to play since last update and all i get game crashing within 2-3 min intervals and getting the disconnection error and sometime the campus thingy…i’ve also done all the rebooting and stuff but no avail…would love to be able to play again…also it seems to be only for some people? since all my friends here who play gw2 don’t have this issue

If you don’t fix this lag, you will lose a lot of players especially on the PVP and WvW scene. Just stop adding random stuff in-game and focus on what’s really needed. I’m pretty sure you can talk to Telia and have them fix their nodes or something. This has been ongoing for a few months now, like half a year already. Something needs to be done.

Can you please state at least if you are working on the issue or when we could expect any remedy? Playing with your game almost 4 years and not had this prolonged problem ever like this… Please keep us informed!

I’m still having this issue, it only happened for me after the wintersday update, I did the mad king events just fine, and now suddenly I get this strange latency nearly every day, when its really bad I get disconnected and the game crashes to a black screen, same as others here. It truly isn’t my net doing this, everything else is fine. However, I notice that if I excessively try to reconnect when it persists on crashing, then my internet will try to go out?

Gw2 is the only game that reacts this way..and it only started happening recently.. So I am truly at a loss.

Ive started getting this after latest patch and i just got the new expansion on the same day. Not happy at all. Want to know a fix or refund.

This issue only happened after the 2017 Lunar new year event update. I can’t login for

more than 10 mins, loading times from character screen to the world also take much

longer than it did before. When I teleport to other locations the error above is given

Having the same problem after updating to the Lunar Patch. Similar error codes. Not sure why this is happening. Getting insane lag spikes. Game is practically unplayable.

Yeah same thing happened to me too. Right after the Lunar New Year patch it’s lagging like crazy. And….while I’m typing this…gw2 website itself is loading slowly.

Yesterday I disconnected a few times while I was doing lvl 50 story (ogre allies) at Blazeridge Steppes (btw, Shatterer was looping the same animations in sky), before last fix was released. Now, I just disconnected 2 times in a row right after enter Twilight Arbor dungeon.

Yep, getting the same error after lunar patch.. started playing again like a month ago and it was fine, then I blamed connection. But everything work perfectly and atm, I cant run from one waypoint to another without dc. What happened ??

did not dc like this before, only came back to HoT recently and very sad this happens..

other games working fine, just Gw2.

Keep having consistent disconnect every few minutes also… I’m from Malaysia. This is super frustrating

I have this issue since the Chinese New Year Patch. its terrible, players are suspicious of me being a leech/idler in PvP and i constantly think i’ve already reached a place in pve only to be kick out of the game. can’t even WvW as the zerg + the mysterious lag = impossible to WvW

Hi Rojak, bro I’m from Malaysia too & using streamyx as well. I’ve been having the same problem since yesterday.

Im seriously getting tired of this…every freaking update causes the dc on me…i can barely play 2 mins without crashing and the it dc’s…how are we suppoused to enjoy the LWS episode if we can barely go few meters and the crash…

I’ve been having these issues and roll back. Just unlocked the new skill and completed a heart, got disconnected, only to come back to see that I need to unlock everything again :/

I’m playing in the new map, doing the new content, happens every so 30 minutes give or take.

same here – First time having disconnected issue – yesterday & today.

Random disconnect is back. Playing the new content is impossible. Getting dced every 10 minutes and having to restart is torture i tell ya.

Not sure if this is just me or the website also loading pretty slow. Youtube site was loading fine for me but GW2 page loading too slow.

And the game keeps disconnect – its annoying to keep playing the story over & over again.
