Well yeah that’s true. What I ment is that if you’re lucky you can stay on for a longer time. :P I managed to do 2 full fractal runs without dc, but later dced anyways, so I am very happy it didn’t happen during the fractals runs.

I can’t get ACCESS to PVP GAME BROWSER for WHOLE DAY.
Game say, that it’s login server problem!

But it’s holidays, that mean that problem will stay until Monday.

Constant Dc’s in WvW last couple days. almost unplayable people dropping constantly.

we go through commanders every half hour…

Thank you for a response, people are pulling their hair out since hours and no reaction on the forums or anywhere else It is really bad at the moment you either hang for a hour loading and that changes to a white or black screen and thus exit your client and start all over again, or you dc changing borders or just randomly

I don’t think you will get any compensation. Games have technical problem at times. GW2 has very little compared to many games. You will just have to deal with a few days of no game. Things happen sometimes not like arena net made this problem on purpose.

I am having the same issue with GW1 as well as GW2. Cannot connect to server. Seems like its at ANets end.

So far ive been playing fine for about an hour or so after constantly getting booted or having lag and disconnects or not able to login.Now im able to switch maps able to play without lag ( a bit ) or disconnects.So whatever changed or got fixed,it helped for me atleast.

Yup, many players from different parts of the world are having the same issue. Same here, been unplayable for me since June. I just log in and try to get my daily done, then log out..

I can’t run dungeons, do world bosses etc… even GW1 is lagging like crazy.

When players from different parts of the world are having pretty much the same issue, there IS a chance that it’s on Anet’s end. GW1 and GW2 has been unplayable for me for the past 2 months now.

The other mmo’s I play are fine. If they need more coal to keep them servers running, I can send some…

I took me 1 hour to successfully login the game. Getting Error Codes 42 & 58 all the time. All other “online experiences” are running fine.

The problem is you cant even join the forum discussion. So it might be that 578.954 users still cant play properly.

The last two days was a battle of disconnects. I set my goal to 1001. Im close to it. Sadly there are no AP for it.

I’m a player from SEA (Bangkok, Thailand). I’m on NA server and facing the same problem. At first I thought it’s the internet but all of my guildmates seem to have the dc error. Got kicked out during PvP and regular PvE stuff. One of my friend couldn’t log-in after he lost connection yesterday. And sometimes we can still chat but the map seem frozen like people are not moving and can’t use skill etc.

For a couple of hours this morning (EU) many players (all?) were unable to log in to the game and the forum/account, which makes submitting a ticket or posting here impossible.

Same problem. 5 min or more log on screens. Game hangs intermittently, then continues normally for 2 min.

Its not internet related as YouTube and other apps works fine.

This is no internet issue.. too many players in different maps, whole groups from differing locations and differing ISP’s all getting the same issue.
Logging in for me was never an issue.. swapping maps and hanging or simply having the game crash at random points most definitely was/is the issue.
After playing BARWARS for a few hours last night I returned home had same issue so just loaded up other MMO’s and updated/played them instead.. hassle free and not a single disconnect… sure some may of had internet issues, but mine was working fine up to the point it gained entry onto an ANET server .. but hopefully it has been resolved, I have yet to bother logging in to find out though to be honest.

Edit.. just logged into game… and surprise, surprise I did miss the TEQ I was trying to map change too last night …..
Interesting to note when changing maps (first success in like 12 hours) there is a pause when it loads and a black screen for a couple of seconds until the game begins to be playable… almost as if the light adaption settings are struggling to initiate.

just did Jormag and had horrible skill lag. skills not responding at all, or taking like
more then a second to execute. very nice 8-)

Its not just on world events… finally getting some game time after the map hanging and random game crashes last night… nothing happened yet except load screens seem to act weird almost likeits loading then stops then reloads with a small intermission of a black screen.

But more frustrating is that just running around maps and firing off skills seems to be a little laborious.. almost as if everything has been put into a slow down mode and skills don’t always fire off when they should, it’s only small delays though currently.
In fact taking falling damage is the funniest thing.. I can jump from a high point take no damage run on and a second later I am dead… something isn’t 100% still, but at least I haven’t been crashed or hung in the 30 mins I have been in game… that’s a small victory

No more disconnects and a ping of 40 now ^(°-°)^ Thats like it have to be.

Hey guys so I wanted to get back into guild wars 2 after building my new computer so I downloaded it and well I am getting huge lag spikes quite a bit of bugs and its almost unplayable I know that they are starting to put heart of thorn things in but I was wondering if I am the only person getting all these issues it is during the weekend thank you.

Same here. Huge lag spikes in world events and Silver Wastes. Can’t say exactly for how long they exist since I came back from a longer absence. But it has been fine before.

Gaile can you ask team to look at big FPS drop on mac client too since last month. Sorry off topic but it is problem. There is a thread in this forum about it.

- big ping depending on amount of users playing in a certain map, even doing a dungeon rockets the ping from 120 to 500 and fluctuates between 300 – 500, if one of the users connection has a problem, like closed nat set up or fluctuating between download and upload speed, the ping goes up to 700.

On WvW we are talking about 2000 or even 5000 ping, without getting a disconnection (in which it should happen doesn’kitten so i see all the people “teleporting” around the map).

On my character gameplay however around 600 ping, i have 2 seconds delay when i click on a skill, 750 – 800 ping is a 3 seconds delay, from 1050 and over it is like 5 seconds delay, i just see my skills glowing then one by one, even insta skills like shouts, starts to activate one by one instead at the same time, damage received is showed in bunch, like 500, 700, 400 in 1 display.

guild list refresh is around 1 guild mate per second, so if we say that 10 people get on to the game and i press g to refresh the guild list, i will see after 10 seconds avg the new list. chat msg is around 1 or 2 seconds delay.

• Are you getting any error codes?

- sadly no, when i had issues on my end the game kicked me instantly or at least had that annoying window of “the client is unable to connect to the log in server at the moment” so its just teleporting and skill delays.

• What is your location?

- Mexico, i have been getting this ping problems around 2 weeks now, usually i used to play on a 80 – 90 ping avg even on 100, hardly touch the 300 ping could say that was on wvw prime time.

hope that helps to cover part of the problem, i’m still also working with my isp to see if its from my end, but seems it is less likely

Still getting constant disconnects from WvW this morning. Playing from South Africa on EU servers.

Same experience like DarckKnight.
Only differences are:
- my location is Poland,
- problems start 2 days ago.

Same issue in Greece over the past 2-3 weeks. Ping unexpectedly rises to 200-600 and FPS falls to 2-6. Game becomes unplayable and, when I try to exit to desktop, it freezes and can only be exited through Windows’ “close window” option. As a result, no feedback can be sent to the developers. If I try to start the program again, I can connect without a problem with ping at 60-80 and FPS around 30-50.

Sorry, I already posted my ticket and did not include my location. I thought that you can see my IP there and from it you can exactly see my country (Slovakia) and also my provider (Orange fibernet…the best provider in the country, my normal ping average is 50).

Anyway, the game works for me now. It was my girlfriend who started having problems yesterday – 2x disconnect, 1 large skill lag, and she told me she started having freezing screen issue (but somehow I think it is more connected to her old laptop). And she lives in Croatia. Is this a good webpage for gathering traceroute? – http://ping.eu/traceroute/

After your Saturday post Gaile, i had no further issues in pve including battles at Tequatl and Vinewrath. Haven’t tried wvw.
