How about making the rest of tyria more worthwhile to play/farm before suggesting to nerf the only open world content which is of any worth even if its in a nerfed state as is. Continuing to nerf the few method of gaining income isn’t going to make this game better, it just makes it crappier for those of us that do not buy gold.

My lack of playing is a result of dumbinishing returns, time gating, bad revamped content, constant nerfs to farming locations, poor drop rates in open world, pathetic loot drops in wvw, RNG.

Timberline falls is my fav map.

Yes RNG is bad, and it certainly doesn’t feel random when you fail several thousand times at trying for a precursor only to see some fella get one on their 1st try..

My luck ingame sucks, I had to buy dusk after several thousand fails with greatswords to produce either dusk or dawn, yet 4 random weapons in a 1 off attempt on some random day where I was prolly half asleep produced the chosen… I know its random, but it doesn’t change the fact that the system is just bad for getting precursors, those should require a level 80 quest that takes a bit to do.. lol

I’m also playing very little these days, its just not rewarding enough to spend the time playing with the constant nerfs and kittened changes to events like teq. My dislike of todays version of gw2 is at a point where I don’t enjoy playing, but am required to because of the laurel system required to get bis equipment. I wouldn’t even be posting if I could figure out how to get battlefield 4 to install… -.-’

Yeah, because you don’t need to check your inventory or use the trading post in frostgorge champ farming? Personally I think you need to stop talking out your behind and maybe stop buying gold/gems and actually leave your rock in LA to play to realize nerfing everything isn’t going to get you anywhere ingame.

Free gold? Jeeze wish I knew how to get free gold by playing, everything I have found that gives gold requires me to actually play and even then the rewards aren’t worth the effort.

Game has been nerfed enough, don’t like it, don’t do it and don’t go kittening about the game asking to ruin it for those that like it.

I don’t get why there are weapon skins labeled Halloween weapon skins, yet are not obtainable with the halloween event… Thats if I’m not wrong in assuming the only way to get some of those skins is by black lion tickets… lol

Some people really need to put their big boy pants on and stop kittening about every little thing.

I’d like no time gating crap, no needing to be out of combat to waypoint in pve, no rng crap.

I have a life outside of gw2, I like just rocking up to bosses, pressing 1 and going afk.

If you want harder content, why not ask for hardcore dungeon modes or something to be implement so that you can kitten around with harder content while others can do the training wheels mode.

Last few days of farming nodes around Pagga’s waypoint i’ve noticed some mithril nodes appear on my mini map till I run up to them and then they disappear from the map and I see the empty node as if it has being mined already, yet I haven’t mined it.. Has anyone else noticed this?

Ultimately though, I personally disagree with Teq being scaled to be do-able with 20 people. Teq, and hopefully in the future ShatShat and JorJor, should all require 100+ people to complete.

I do look at the “whole picture.” And when I look at it, I see that there’s 20+ other world bosses for players to hit in a casual manner, and 1 (potentially 3) incredibly difficult ones for players who enjoy that kind of thing. It’s a niche for sure, but I’m glad as hell it exists.

Actually you don’t look at the whole picture when you make comments about events needing +100 people to complete it, if you were looking at the whole picture you’d realize that not all servers can pull +100 people per event on all time zones. Events should scale to accommodate all servers and all times zones not just the high population zergball servers otherwise you are excluding alot of players that don’t play on servers during peak periods.

Guesting, using overflows and joining TSS are not solutions to the problem, it’s just a bandaid and the sooner you people realize that the better and hopefully abet will realize their mistake and fix the problem.

Content shouldn’t require people to guest to complete it. I used to play on Devona’s Rest, and being Australian, playing on oceanic time, we’d have 10 or so people show up and it take the best part of 30 minutes to down teq prior to him being buffed, now it be impossible with the 15 minute fail timer… Content should be doable for all servers on all time zones without needing to guest to a zerg server, join a zerg guild, use overflows etc.

This also just happened to the lvl 28 fractals party i was in. We were having chat problems, party/guild chat wasn’t work, so had to use map chat. 2 members were dropped at 3rd fractal boss fight, so we 3 manned it and beat it, collected rewards and click to proceed and were ported to LA..

Gonna put it out there that there would likely be players from bunch/Queensland on vabbi server, but unlikely that they’d be on the forum. You might find less Australians on the EU servers as well.

Exactly, so why bother posting them to begin with… As for farming embers, under no circumstances are players required to complete quests in gw2, yes, players are “supposed” to complete them, but it isn’t an exploit to let the event fail.

If Colin didn’t seem to worried / throwing the E word around and wanting farmers banned for killing champs, then nor should the players. If it was such a problem, chances are it would of been patched out by now… (One would think..) And the only reason I can think of as to why some people are against ember farming and enjoy having a cry about it is because they are market manipulators and have a ton of gold tied up in the trading posts on items that aren’t selling due to the availability of items now, but who knows, people are weird…

And at what point do you decide whats an exploit in gw2? Unless I missed a memo or something that said your in charge? Did I? No?

And the other people is naysayers will label anything a hack/bug/exploit if if doesn’t fit with their ideas. Just because you think it is, doesn’t mean it is.

And what did players do with said weapons? Salvage and sell exos?

Why would I destroy the cauldrons? I’m not trying to do any events, I’m just there to farm champions, can’t destroy the final champ by myself, but the zerg helps after the event fails…

I’m not there to do an event, I’m there to kill champions, its not my problem/fault if you guys fail the event and it restarts spawning more champions.

It is intended for players to kill champions to gain loot, of which we are doing.

We could “farm” in the lower reward areas, but we’d be gimping ourselves out of some gold by doing so.

And kitten , its not an exploit, quite trying to label it as one.

I did a small amount of research and found that the ember event keeps the Gates of Arah event from completing to fruition? I could be wrong. If anything, I’ve HELPED the integrity of the zone. Hehe.

Exactly why these actions is heroic. Look, I wouldn’t mind the farmers constantly failing the attack on R&D, for instance, if it continually spawned champion tar elementals. That’s an out-of-the-way spot no one cares about. But Shank Anchorage is a roadblock event in the middle of a pretty important event chain: clearing the Gates of Arah. Intentionally failing it repeatedly is depriving the opportunity from other players who legitimately want to succeed and continue with the chain.

As it is, it just ends in a standoff anyway: the cauldrons may be destroyed, but that spawns a named champion, who scales too high for the cauldron destroyers to take down while the farmers hang back. The event still fails and resets shortly thereafter, but was far less profitable for the farmers. So no one gets what they want.

Actually its just being (insert colorful language), not being a hero. If those people were truly interested in completing the orrian chains/entering arah, then they wouldn’t be waste their time trolling the farming population, they would just guest to another server which isn’t as farm heavy and go about their business their. Trolling the events for hours upon hours just proves they have absolutely no intentions of completing the chain events/entering arah and that they are just being… again with the colorful language.

Anything less than “Zerk” is like driving 10km/miles under the speed limit…

With my guardian I run a mix of knights and zerkers for more dps with alittle survivability. I don’t see any point to running pvt gears in dungeons when it just slows things down, unless your into that sort of thing which is your choice of how you want to play.

Can’t really complain about what other players run when it comes to public games, everyone has the right to play how he or she wants to even if it isn’t the best/most viable/most optimal way. That being said, it annoys me seeing players run builds that just aren’t the best for certain situations so I tend to avoid pug parties and form parties with those I know run decent builds and are experienced enough to run a dungeon/fractal with few hiccups. For the occasion pug cof run, I’ll actually look for teams that are looking for the zerker warrior/Mesmer, speed run/ping gear for check to actually get a team worth running with, otherwise it just takes too long and is usually more trouble than its worth running with randoms using random toons…

Hm… I think there might be a solution to your borderland issue, but I can’t imagine what.

(Yes, it annoys me when IoJ easily takes all of our stuff overnight due to lack of defenders, but I can’t really hate their aussies for taking easy points as opposed to, say, politely touring the place but leaving it untouched.)

What really annoys me is the AC parked close to the wall and still be able to place a full aoe circle on top.

I was there for that was, they had 2 or 3 of them parked there hitting the the cannon on inner keep and our seige up there. No idea if it was legit or not, but it didn’t matter, they would of taken our keep regardless with the numbers they had to dps the doors down.. -.-

Edit, nvm, your from FC, they did the same to us at our keep only with 2-3 arrow carts.

Also bugged on devona’s Rest.

I play for an hour in wayfarers doing the general events, maw, worm eggs, lodge, wolf master along with the dome, escorts and those raptures and I’ll have hit dumbinishing returns and have to do something else till it resets…

Note sure if this is a bug or not, but I’ve been noticing that when I complete some events I’m only receiving extremely low exp, karma and money rewards.. Just now complete maw and as a level 59 toon I received 173 experience, 8 karma and 4 bronze instead of the +3000 experience I should be getting for my level…

Does the dungeon reset timer reset when the daily achievements reset? I did 1 dungeon run before the reset time and 1 run afterwards…

I did cof paths 1 and 2 and I had DR when repeating paths 1 and 2 an hour later.

Rangers are so bad I regret starting one…
