Yes, I settle for that name.

Also nice idea for the Economy, I hope it will not go unnoticed.

That is a very nice thought, so we should call it Hansestadt Löwen Bogen ;-)

I think it is a “Frenchie” thing… I looked it up ;-)

quay (n.) Look up quay at Dictionary.com
1690s, variant of Middle English key, keye, caye “wharf” (c. 1300; mid-13c. in place names), from Old North French cai (Old French chai, 12c., Modern French quai) “sand bank,” from Gaulish caium (5c.), from Old Celtic *kagio- “to encompass, enclose” (cognates: Welsh cae “fence, hedge,” Cornish ke “hedge”), from PIE *kagh- “to catch, seize; wickerwork, fence” (see hedge (n.)). Spelling altered in English by influence of French quai.

I do not think it is just Australia. Here in Europe we pronounce it also without “w” sound, just like Quebec is “Kuh-back”.

I was inspired by my studies in Chemistry, hence Acid.
Also I pay a homage to Bunsen as an Engi.

OK, both my completions were at those locations, so I accept your explanation.
Thank you.

No reward after 100% map completed

It happened to me as well.
This is my 9th character, so I know the map completion.

A few weeks ago I completed Caledon Forest. It shows 100% completion, but I received no letter nor a reward.
Now I just finished Brisbane Wildlands and it too shows 100% completion, but still no letter nor a reward.

For both cases I sent an ingame bug report.
I will add a service request too.

I want to buy some GEMS, but always errors.
Show “Unfortunately an error has occurred. Please try again later!”

Did you try the steps I described some posts above? Maybe that can help you, it sure helped me.

Note: cdn.fatfoogoo.com is the company handling the gems purchases for digitalriver.com, as it was explained to me.

Yep got the error too (on my virgin Internet Explorer)
Ticket submitted.

Waiting… hoping all will be fine in the end.

P.S. I see the error is originated by cdn.fatfoogoo.com and not by digitalriver.com, so is this a correct re-direction or an old entry still in the code somewhere?

P.P.S. just received PayPal mail that the purchase was successfull. As I went three times through the procedure (luckily I purchased a small amount), I received three payments. So it works, sort of, but still not good to have an error instead of a confirmation that the purchase was good.

OK, this worked for me (with the help of ArenaNet Support):

1. Use a different browser (set that browser to default): I used Internet Explorer.
2. Purchase some gems with PayPal.
3. PayPal opens and I could finish the payment.

Note: I double checked that the email on my PayPal account was the same and prime as the email on my GuildWars2 account.

Note-2: as I never used IE before there were no add-ins or cache to complicate things. Try to clear your internet cache and disable add-ins for the session.

Hope this will help someone else too!

Hi Runeblade,

Good for you.
Maybe you can tell me how it was resolved for you, as the response I got was to open the game in window-mode. But that did nothing, I still cannot get any gems.

Sorry Gaile,

I cannot purchase gems through PayPal.
I have tried it twice, but at the PayPal confirmation screen it does not open my PayPal account.
When checking my PayPayl account directly, there is no transaction waiting.

As I can purchase other things from the internet with PayPal I do not think the problem lies with PayPal per sé.

Is it possible that Chrome is the issue here?
I created a ticket. I hope this will get sorted out before the sales is over.

When ressing Charrs, they always say “wuss”, when standing up.
So, to whom are they referring?

OK, to conclude my adventure in gem-card land:
Yep, it works!

RandyRun is located in US and Europe and available in twelve languages.
After creating an account, you also need to create an account with MoneyBookers.
When you jumped through all hoops, you can order gem-cards through 9 different payment processes (my region anyway ;-).

After the purchase has been finalised a photo with the card redemption code is send to the email address of your account. I redeemed the code last night and all went well.

So, I hope this will help anyone unable to purchase gems from the shop directly (no credit card, credit card not from your residential country, no paypayl).

@Arilin: I followed up on your suggestion and yes, I can confirm that I can purchase gem cards in my country at RandyRun. I will try this out very soon and post my experience here. Many thanks again, you made my day :-)

After creating a ticket on the “Credit Card Approval” failure, I received the answer that the credit card was not issued form the country I live in. So I cannot use my credit card, period! Too bad.

Tried the same and they kept refusing my credit card too. It seems you are only allowed to use a credit card from the country you live in.

I think it is very unbusiness-like to force people into two out-dated systems of payment.

Maybe your suggestion of payment outside of the game would be a good one. I mean, other companies do it and I can pay them happily.
