Wiley can be found as an elite NPC in Wiley’s Cove by default; when his event is active, he swims to a sunken ship in the northern part of Lake Gendarr and becomes a champion.
Killing either version of Wiley counts towards The Predator III: The Hunter collection. However, spawn times are seemingly long, so it is recommended to wait in the cove for him to spawn.

Just logged in forum to write about that. Skill is extremely broken atm. If even you stand front of target it leaps trough and lands behind target without hitting. Its unplayable guys. fix it pls

Hello guys o/
First of all I want to say that I already contacted support and they (fairly fast) answered my ticket.
I am playing on Notebook (My life style doesn’t let me stay in same place too long) and Its kinda too old notebook, but I never had any problem playing guild wars on it yet, but there comes new expansion with new minimum requirements and until I Preorder it, want to know if my PC will be able to run it.
Anet already replied that my specs are enough to play new expansion, but the thing scares me is systemrequirementslab website.

My notebook specs are on screen. Can someone “PRO on computers” explain me, why my CPU is marked red ?

I believe you are mistaken. AFAIK, the items are always attached at the same spot, it’s just that this particular set of armor is “flatter”, therefore it seems the back item was attached farther off the body than with other armor sets.

Idk, I don’t like for what i paid my 800gemstone.
They must to fix even donation ones, if not basic ones.

Fixing them all would take a long, long time requiring people of their team, who currently work on new content, to focus only on these things.

While I would appreciate the effort (and welcome the better results), I doubt ArenaNet will ever fix all the item attachment issues this game has (what with several silly looking items on specific races etc.). They probably would have to make adjustments for every item in this game separately, and that is a time-consuming endevour.

I used to buy Aetherblade light skin from gemstore and look how it scales with backpiece/shield. It looks really, really bad. horrible aesthetics.

I had no single problem from 1-250LI, people who complain about raid toxicity, are people who want to skip training runs.

Find guild (There is 5 I know with open invite)
Sign for Training runs,
Get your first 20li and some experience,
Start raiding.

Why people with 0LI sitting in lfg 5-6 hour, its nonsense. what you want to find in lfg ? idk.

Hello, Wanted to write it under Bug section, but not sure.

I don’t know what Anet did with Staff 5 skill but, its completely broken. Cast animation is slow motion, but not always. also:
Bug: you can’t swap weapon while casting vault. (there is not any skill ingame, that doesn’t let you swap weapon while casting it)
Bug 2: It’s not always hit targets in area. I’ve experienced that in high ping it casts very slow motion and sometimes doesn’t hit enemies on target area.
Bug 3: Sometimes, when you target far, you still casting skill in place you stand.

Skill animation, movement and hit time is always different, I have no idea if it caused by ping or distance.

I am main thief after 1st day installed game and please, don’t ruin my gameplay. Vault was always my favorite skill (I use staff only in Openworld/Raids) There was nothing wrong with this skill, but now its not even worth to use for me.

I’m doing legendary armor collection vol2 and was trying to kill Deimos while I had heart activated But,
First kill (week reset kill) I got downed last seconds of kill and we killed it. I didn’t get collection item, but next day I killed it without getting downed and Heart activated on, but still didn’t get it

Question: If I can acquire collection item only in first (week reset) kill, it means that if I get downed or die in almost killed Deimos I have to wipe or leave raid ?
If it’s just bug, can you fix it please ?
I used 4hour and we wiped about 5-6 kill runs to not to get down or die for that item, and ppl who had it killed didn’t get it…
(I hadn’t same problem with other bosses)

Get full zerker gear. You are warrior, u wont die easy anyway. I run 1405 toughness on my chrono, so warriors can revive.

1k tougness is must to have in raids. bcouse some chronos run 1080 toughness(pro hardcore) and they will ask u to not to revive.

I dont care about wardobe… Builds change every patch, I change stats often to balance them in wvw/pve. So its important to have Option. For me its worth to invest 120 gold per part and have option for change stats then get that ascended gear from PVP. I just want some info its all, If Anet going to give us option or it will stay like this. So I will decide how to spend my shards. Do I ask too much ?

Anet inform us please. What changes are you going to do about stats. We want to know what are we farming for…

Anet fixed infusion slot, BUT we still cant change stats on it. You have to give us an option to change stats in mystic forge or special item.

Also its impossible to change Stats in mystic forge. And make output from mystic forge Illustrious part.

I think its more your hardware problem then game. Check your Graphic Card.

I will log and try to change stats on it with MF. Maybe it will output simple illustrios part. will inform you about it.

Edit: MF doesn’t even see that item. so once you chose stats, you cant change it anymore

The Ascended Armor collection is for unlocking the Illustrious Armor skins though. These PvP armors are not the Illustrious set, so do not count unless you can change the stats on them, it should output the illustrious variant from the forge, which should give the missing infusion slot too. (Not tested this, but if they can’t be stat changed there’s another bug)

Agree, After changing stats in MF it have to output Illustrious ones. why should I craft second boots/chest or whatever for achievment progress ? ofc i will craft but in that case i dont need pvp ones.

That new npc in PVP mists is Awesome. BUT,there is 1 big BUT

They don’t have infusion slot. ok I dont care about agony infusion but its PVP related item (I guess) and WVW is part of pvp right ? Can you add Infusion slot for Wvw even ?

Oh and it doesn’t progress Grand Aristan(Ascended Accourtement) achievment. unlocking all type of ascended parts.

Hope these 2 are bugs and will be fixed. other way I want to ask for refund, or i have to salvage them.

I’ve got about 100 or more crash… in WVW/PVE… also I dont see ghostly outfit and when someone Link it pressing “Preview” crashes my game also…

Nerf thieves ? if you have problem with them, it means you have to practice more, my friend.

Increase Cap or make it value for something. (Like spirit shard on 173 lvl)

I and my friends reached Legendary division in pvp (first time) and we didn’t got any title. Illustrious legend Achievment has 4/5 progress but we are already in legendary and it was 4/5 when we were in diamond too. some pvp players told us that every season have ones own title so,

I don’t know its bug or not, maybe we have to wait till season ends, but we cant find any information about it..

Depends on your spec and weapon set. If you play condi D/D + P/D (or SB) you can 1v1 almost every class and your survivability is very good. I can kill Warriors (Rifle ones excluded) so easily with D/D, no way to kill them with D/P power build, Guardians are tougher but doable. Sometimes i can even 1vs2 lol, if both of my opponents fight in melee range only. Only profession who makes me real trouble is Druid and condi engie sometimes. I mostly play with Sage’s Amulet, DA, Trickery and Acrobatics for better survivability and nice healing for every initiative spent.
I have no idea why condi thief is not in a meta lol.

Oh, and i’m talking about unranked arenas, are you ok with that, you elitists? I guess op have in mind unranked arenas too.

I play thief more than year and wondering how stupid your speech is. Try ranked games after Sapphire.
I think you are new to pvp and MM que you in same skilled teams. Well, I’m agree, at start Thief looks powerful, but when you climb up to skilled players, you are trash. Thief is hardest pvp class atm, it need brain and reaction. sometimes i end up without single kill but win. (Stealing points) THIEF ISNT 1v1 class in pvp, and never will be.

People who crafted Ascension during 4 seasons reaching only ruby or lower, now unhappy that everyone have it and crying in this topic. I like how it is made and trust me, for pve players it is not that easy to get them and most of them prefer to go for pve one.

Everyone must to be able to get everything with enough effort. Making legendary division must to reach, you will make it almost impossible for 90% or more players ingame.

I personally pvp lover, but I could never reach legendary, always in Diamond. Oh and not everyone got Nerves and time to sit whole day in pvp to reach legendary, that itself means nothing.

Be happy what you have and let other players have fun too ! I’m never mad or jealous when people craft cool items around, Im happy for them so.. Prestige ? what ?

I play thief, 3-10 matches per day and already diamond.
Guardians is most easy to play class in pvp atm and its very good for point holding. When im tired from hardcore pvp (bad mood but have to play 3 matches) I just switch on guardian and spam traps.
People who have lack of skill, reaction, etc etc guardian is great choice. I think Anet wants to let everyone pvp and have chance to win. I have many friends over 50 in this game and they are happy how guardian works. So I like how pvp is made here.
Playing guardian already shows that you have lack of skill its all. and I don’t really have problem with them. I kill most of them even solo (+1 in 3-4 second).
Having good Necro/Engi/Druid is more important for me then Guardians.

I don’t think y’all should be getting onto ANET for not allowing players to progress through the achievements or get the wings after the seasons. If they didn’t play a couple seasons, then that is their fault, not ANET’s.

To make it easy, just thing of a PvP Season and a ‘Year of Ascension’ differently. You can work on a current Part of the achievement section in any season. For example, if you need to cross 4 divisions, you could go from Amber to Emerald in 4 different seasons to get that part of the achievement. So no, achievements will not reset each season.

I know that achievments keep progress between seasons. I want to know if they do it with Years of the Ascension too.

It’s my first topic and forgive me mistakes(If there is any). I’ve already researched info about my question but, nothing in forums. well.

I’m new in Guild Wars 2 (2 month) and I already feel good in pvp. So I started prev season and working on Backpack.
It’s my second season of pvp and I’m at 4th part of Achievments, where I found achievment: “League Elite”.
I understand that i have to cross 4 divisions, and assuming that previous divisions i crossed doesn’t counts, but its not problem for me.

For me problem is that I’m ruby atm, and cant really cross 4 more divisions in this season and as people mention and close to logic, there will be only 4 seasons in Year of ascension. So the only my mistake is that I’ve started playing gw in 3rd season.
I think many people would like to know:

- How many Seasons will be in “Year of the ascension” ?
- What will happen with my Achievments when this season ends (4th one)
or
- Do you plan to reset achievments after every Year of Ascension ? becouse it’s will be deadly for me. so much work done already.

Can any nice guy from Anet answer me ?
