Putting aside “that wouldn’t make sense for X class to have Y weapon…” I’d honestly like to see every class be able to use every weapon and all combinations of them.

This would certainly add some more variety and options for all the classes.

A ton of boring/useless traits and abilities?

I have to agree. I find myself just wanting to use signets for passive stat increases as the other traits just add nothing to my gameplay. There is too few interesting ones, that are completely situational and most of the time aren’t reliable… then there is the exceptionally long cooldowns.

The 5 skill limit per wep. Like it? Don't like it? Say why here.

This is probably the one thing (or at least the biggest) I dislike about this game.

As people have said, it makes things easier to balance sure, but I get all my weapon skills before I hit level 10. The utility and elite skills are completely situational, and usually boring, just like the traits. The few skills that I do have any kind of fondness for are tied to long cooldowns thanks to the lack of any kind of energy or mana.

If I am going to get through 80 levels and beyond I need to feel like there is something greater coming to me. I’ve got my guardian to 50 and I can’t press on anymore. I am completely bored with what I got and nothing is going to change him.

I’ve rolled alts and they’ll be great for a short time but again, by level 8 I likely have all the weapon skills for that class and… that’s that.

I suggested this in beta, I feel like if they aren’t going to add skills they need a way to modify skills to keep things fresh.

Regardless of how one feel’s about Diablo 3, I think being able to “rune” an ability to give it new looks and effects helped keep the small amount of skills more interesting longer. At the very least, I’d know I’d have something ‘new-ish’ to try the next time I leveled up.

Weapons you want to see in the future?

Staff, whip, lance, fist-weapons and/or unarmed combat (maybe a class involving martial arts).

No Sword and Shield love?

I wanted to sword-and-board but I just got tired of the cooldowns and damage output. I found my greatsword just tore things down faster.

Not much to use other than that. Staff and scepter.. just don’t do anything for me.

Really wish these skills used mana rather than cooldowns. I’d be rocking 1-handed sword if I could use Zealot’s Defense more often.

Suggestion - Feedback survey

I see the suggestion topics come and go. We get a sticky, then we lose a sticky. Perhaps a different approach is in order?

In other MMOs I have played, WoW in particular, when you unsubscribed from the game, you were asked to give some feedback on why you were leaving. You could choose categories and then sub-categories, and I believe there was also a suggestion box.

How about taking that idea and offering a feedback survey every week or two?
Have everyone select from a list things like PVE, PVP, sPVP, and then choose sub-categories in each other those such as Skills, Classes, Trading Post, Overflow queues, etc.

Example: -“PVE” – “Weapon skills” – “Not enough”

Like that but with check-boxes or drop-down lists. This would make information clear and concise, rather than have hundreds of suggestion topics, each with hundreds of replies and lengthy discussions.

Afterwards take that data every week -or whenever- and see which areas and topics are currently more “Hot” than others, prioritize and address them. Then throw out another survey the following week and see if that issue is still a big deal or if another has risen in the complaint-queue.

I want to believe with that method, each of the major complaints will get attention one survey at a time.
