I believe that Seaside Propagation only crashed the map if you had only a single Fire Orchid Seed in your inventory. You must’ve had more than one, and you must’ve done it in the brief window of time between completing the third collection at reset and the soil being disabled.
In any event, now we play the waiting game.
After Gaile’s announcement, it is clear that the soil being disabled was intentional. I created this late last night prior to Gaile’s announcement. At that time, it was unclear whether or not the disabling was intentional, as other Fertile Soil locations in Draconis Mons were functioning normally, and others on the map reported having been able to obtain Seaside Propagation.
TL;DR Move along; no new information here.
The two Fertile Soil locations that were causing the rollbacks were disabled last night even before Gaile made the announcement. So while you cannot currently get two of the Henge Away from Home collection items, the others are obtainable still, and you can play without fear of the seeds causing a rollback.
While this does indeed need a fix, there is a workaround aside from just waiting for the event to un-bug itself. If you are coordinated at the start of the event, keep one of the mercenaries alive and kill the others. The event only seems to bug if all of them are killed. Hopefully this helps those of you who need the Element of the Wurm in the meantime.
Attempting to interact with the Fertile Soil on the island in the Eastern Burning Sea brings up the “That content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.” message, so the Seaside Propagation item needed for the A Henge Away from Home achievement is currently unobtainable. Other Fertile Soil in Draconis Mons does not give this message.
Edit: I have added a screenshot. I also met another player who had the same issue, so even if it was working as intended for the second person to post, the issue isn’t unique to me.

If I recall correctly, the Harvest Cascades need to be under Seraph control for the event needed for Moonlighting to start; the area may have been controlled/under attack by the White Mantle when you attempted it. The event should spawn immediately at the start of nighttime and then every 15 minutes until dawn. I found it helpful to post a squad in the LFG and camp out beforehand, as the event is rather troublesome to solo.
This is indeed a bug that was introduced with the 4/18 patch. It seems to impact any skin which provides a “special effect,” for lack of a better description: the elementalist starter helms, Karka Helm, Bloodstone Visage, Winter’s Presence, and Nightfury. I posted it here.
It is likely related to the other issue with the wardrobe/preview functionality introduced with the 4/18 patch; removing one skin from a preview removes all others.
This bug has been around for some time; see here and here. One possible solution suggested in the second thread is to make sure that you’ve unlocked and selected aquatic pets in addition to terrestrial ones. You can do this easily with the Polar Bear in Hoelbrak, the Red Jellyfish in Rata Sum, and the Shark/Armored Fish/Blue Jellyfish in Lion’s Arch.
If this fix doesn’t work, there is another workaround for new rangers, albeit a slightly disappointing one. Create a new ranger, level until you can choose your pets (level 4 or 5), grab a couple pets in cities (Polar Bear in Hoelbrak and Pig in Divinity’s Reach are easy), select these in lieu of your starter pet, and then relog or change zones. If you’ve got the bug, try again. If not, enjoy your un-bugged ranger. I just now tested this latter method myself and have an un-bugged ranger after 20 minutes of tinkering.
Following today’s (4/18) update, Winter’s Presence and Nightfury no longer appear in the Hero Panel even when toggled on. They appear normally in game and on the character select screen.
This may be an intended change; previously, these shoulders appeared when first opening the Hero Panel even when toggled off.
Edit: this also applies to the Karka Helm and to the Flame, Glacial, Stone, and Storm Eyes. It may be related to the issue described here and here.

I purchased the Bloodstone Crystal before the “A Crack in the Ice” release, so I was unable to obtain the Petrified Stump or Winterberry Bush nodes. The hotfix allowed me to purchase the Petrified Stump, but Slooshoo is still not selling the Winterberry Bush.
It appears that this issue is not impacting everyone; others on the map report being able to purchase as expected despite already owning the Bloodstone Crystal and Petrified Stump. They tell me that it should appear directly below the portal scroll.

I purchased all three tiers of Karmic Retribution from Slooshoo in Bitterfrost Frontier, but the icon does not appear with my other buffs as it does in Ember Bay, nor have I had any karma consumables drop. Others in the map are having the same issue.
Hopefully this gets some attention and is fixed soon.
I am experiencing the same issue. I get the “Miniatures have been hidden due to rising player population.” message every time my own miniature is hidden when I begin gliding.
I am, though, quite happy that my miniature consistently reappears.
I am experiencing the same or a similar issue. I was able to speak to the merchant as expected yesterday, but I am unable to do so after re-completing the heart when it reset. I have completed the associated story step.
I am experiencing the same bug. It appears to be effecting only the weapons and armor that were in my inventory when I patched. It does not effect the weapons and armor I had equipped. I can remove and re-equip those normally.
The equipment tagged as “Soulbound to another character” can be equipped to the character it’s actually soulbound to by dragging it in the Hero panel, but it cannot be equipped by double clicking.
I would like to confirm that I am experiencing the same or a similar issue, as are several of my guildmates.
My problem is with Gw2.tmp. For me, that is the file which throws the error message. The Gw2.exe launcher runs without problems, so I am able to play the game but have not been able to patch since this morning’s (6/28/16) first update.
I have tried deleting Gw2.tmp and Gw2-64.tmp (both are recreated when launching) in case they were corrupted when first created, running Gw2.exe as an administrator, and just concluded a clean install of the game. None of these has resolved the issue.
I can confirm that as of today’s (May 3rd) patch, I am experiencing the same bug. Instead of replacing a weapon in the currently equipped set, equipping a weapon by double clicking from the inventory or hero panel always equips it in the top weapon set.
As of today’s (April 19th) update, the old dye preview bug has resurfaced for me. I’ve spoken to several players in-game with the same issue. The old thread is linked below.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Hero-Panel-Dye-Preview-Failing-merged/first
Dyes are applied correctly outside of the Hero panel; in the Hero panel, however, dyes may not show up when hovering over a color swatch. If they do show up, they occasionally get stuck, i.e. they will remain displayed even when moving the cursor off of the corresponding color swatch.
Hopefully this gets some attention and a speedy fix.
Having just earned the Kaiser Snake Mace skin with my dailies today, I am wholeheartedly in favor of making them all flail.
I can confirm that the permanent Captain’s Airship Pass is still disabled after the 3/25 patch which “[f]ixed a bug that would allow players who used an airship pass in Gendarran Fields to attack NPCs.” The golem NPC in Gendarran Fields who checks passes seems also to still be missing.
It seems like a simple oversight; hopefully someone just forgot to toggle it back on after the problem necessitating its disabling was fixed.
Thanks so much! That did the trick. I took it for granted that the description was right and apparently had no gifts in my inventory when I tried. Looks like a case of copy-paste the Charitable Gift Skritt’s description.
The recipe for making the Mini Munificent Gift Skritt appears to be bugged. Placing the Mini Charitable Gift Skritt in the Mystic Forge grays out the other listed ingredients (Candy Canes, Flawless Snowflakes, and Essence of Skrittish Charity). This is shown in the attached screenshot. I’ve tried tinkering with the order, but any combination involving the other three ingredients grays out the Mini Charitable Gift Skritt.
Edit: as of the most recent build, I am in the same situation as the second poster. I can place all ingredients but Candy Canes in the Forge.

I am experiencing the same issue. The icon appears along with my other active effects, and I have the “speed lines” on my feet. Despite this, I move at base movement speed.
I submitted a ticket and was told to submit an in-game bug report, which I’ve also done. For what it’s worth, I also posted about this issue very shortly after the patch, but it seems to have been buried on page three. That topic could be merged with this one.
Hopefully this gets ironed out in the not-too-distant future.
Following today’s update, I appear not to be receiving the speed boost from Leader of the Pact III (Advanced Logistics mastery). The effect’s icon still appears with my other active effects, and I still loot enemies without needing to press F. Moreover, the visual swiftness effect is still applied, but I move only at the base movement speed. After applying swiftness or placing a movement speed signet on my skill bar, I move discernibly faster, which should not be the case were Leader of the Pact III giving its 33% movement speed increase. This problem impacts all of my characters and persists in all major cities.
I am experiencing the same issue but can provide the following additional information: my journal is incomplete (missing Chapter 7 after “Forging the Pact” and all of Chapter 8) only for characters who completed the story between the removal of “My Greatest Fear” and its reintroduction on June 23rd. Characters who completed the story prior to the removal of “My Greatest Fear” have complete journals (“Victory or Death” and all prior missions marked as finished).
It may be intentional that characters who completed the story without the “My Greatest Fear” step only have the journal through “Forging the Pact.” There is no way for the game to retroactively give credit for “My Greatest Fear,” so recording of story progress simply stops with “Forging the Pact” even if a character has completed story steps after “My Greatest Fear.”
I have submitted a ticket with this information and am awaiting a response as to whether this was intentional or an oversight (it seems unfortunate to have no record of a character’s triumphant victory over Zhaitan).
