Flesh Golem usable underwater
Squads have introduced a new colour frustration for me.
The new squad chat and say both have the [S] prefix and as someone with a colour vision deficiency, I cannot tell them apart without comparing them closely, which distracts from the game.
(Of course there’s an easy fix there – give the Squad chat a D prefix to match the keystroke used. But we still need the colour blind option ‘cos it’s just good game design.)
I would really like to switch my main guild to g1 but I can’t find any way to do so through the UI.
It still can’t swim.
Meanwhile, Flesh Golem still hasn’t received swimming lessons.

Just a reminder that Flesh Golem, the MM elite, is acutely allergic to water.
For Minion Masters, the world map is littered with treacherous H2O which serves only to steal their elite summon away and put it on full cooldown if they step in it.

I remember thinking this back at launch – the statues of the 6 gods (the rounded base design like you can see in DR) would make some really neat paperweights.
Honestly, it’s a toast to 3 years of MM being an afterthought. As I feel compelled to point out every time the flesh golem is brought up:
Flesh Golem is unusable underwater. Flesh Golem goes on full cooldown if you have to cross a stream briefly.
Plague is a transform. If a MM uses the only available aquatic elite, they lose all their other minions who can swim.
Flesh Golem was usable underwater in beta, it just had no animation. It honestly felt like Anet disabled it until it could be animated and then everyone involved forgot about it.
No MM for you!
It’s still a bug, it was a kneejerk reaction to the fact that the curtain could be used as a swiftness source multiple times.
Obviously nobody had the time to do it properly, so instead of making curtain trigger once per player they made it trigger only if you didn’t already have swiftness.
Stacking is an innate feature of all boons. The fact that curtain’s swiftness doesn’t stack is a bug.
Temporal Curtain swiftness doesn’t stack if the player is already under the effect of swiftness.
Well, that didn’t happen

The Flesh Golem is the only minion not usable underwater and so MM necros who step in a puddle lose their elite minion for the full cooldown.
Plague is a transform so MM necros who use the only underwater elite lose all their other minions if they do.
Why, in this game, in a game about cosmetics and appearance, is it so hard to change the way I look?
Because they want you to cave into frustration and spend real money on transmutation stones.

Illusion of Weakness, Spirit Shackles and Sympathetic Visage all equal second.
Those home instances they never built on and the city games they never implemented would be awesome places to put the “everything we see on NPCs” town clothes which they promised

Have attempted this twice, both times the researchers have hung back at the cave and Trahearne does nothing at the gate.
(Oh and both attempts were after the latest patch.)

I first encountered “FPS-style” MMO controls like this as a toggle in Champions Online.. seamlessly integrated, it makes everything so much more intuitive. Their crosshair targeting was a little snappier than GW2’s currently is. I would love to see this option show up within GW2 along with some tightened auto-targeting.. think I’ll be using that mod until then!
