I appreciate Anet’s efforts to secure accounts but all these measures should be optional. I don’t want a simple login to become a multistep procedure with checking emails and fumbling with cell phones.

The guy did some crazy damage but he is a glass cannon. No toughness no vitality, so I wonder why didn’t anyone drop him. “pub bashing” maybe?

Heal kit--how do you switch back?

You change back with the weapon switch button.

If you add the toolbelt heal and the 3 bandages, medkit gives you the biggest instant heal. Plus the condition remove and the boon elixir. I don’t use elixir H anymore and I only use the turret when I am in groups.

And yes, ofc it scales with level.

Hey Zoridium guy, you wrote all that BS just to say “I want to talk to npcs to get quests”. So go talk to them, whats keeping you? You dont like the quests on your screen? disable them.

I would like some gear reward too from them but, hey, this is not enough to call questing “the worse”. Actually its the best form and I wonder why anyone before them didn’t apply it.

Manufacturing verbal arguments, just to attack a system that lets EVERYONE play like they want, is so out of fashion. Get real.

Given the fact that quests don’t give loot rewards, they should at least make the completion rewards useful.

I guess the best way to deal with any inconvenience is to label it a “problem”.

I haven’t seen what you describe. I see high lvls coming to low areas to farm karma all the time.

Like I said, auto-target (read!!) issue is a bug. As for your other 3 points are basically the same one repeated 3 times. So (like I also said) if you don’t like something you ask for improvements instead of calling things “broken” and what-the-fluffy-kitten-ever. Intended is not necessarily the best implemented so send your data to the suggestions and cut the whining.

“Bugs”?

The only “bug” I’ve seen is the flamer missing too much when it shouldn’t and the auto-attack not being retained when you switch. I don’t know what traits people thing are broken or what combos don’t work.

All the other stuff mentioned are intended features. People don’t like them? Fine, ask for improvements. But “broken” and “not ready for release”? I am 65 now with my Engi and I have enjoyed every step of the way.

I am not a damage monster (don’t think that any class is) and I am not invincible, but I have a tool for every occasion and if you underestimate me you will hurt.

What's the point/purpose of the bomb kit?

The point is kiting. I like using grenades too but bombs are easier for that purpose and they can do a little more damage. When you get jumped by someone it’s faster to switch and drop a glue bomb on their feet followed by a big ol bomb before they can move away. Lack of targeting helps.

Other than that it’s a matter of preference.

I don’t know if I’m talking about the same thing here but many ppl have mentioned the issue with the view rapidly zooming in and out when your character is close to a wall and you move the camera around trying to see better.

Evasive keg only works in combat. That means that when a mob aggroes you without you having hit him, that first dodge won’t drop a bomb.

It would be convenient but I don’t want it. There are many ways to throw while kiting, most of them already mentioned. So don’t be lazy and try them.

Making them “heat seeking” is the stupidest idea I’ve read so far. Why? If we put aside the fact that they won’t feel like grenades, there is going to be some fluffy-kitten guy (self-censored) that will scream OP. And then they will nerf them to firecrackers. Underwater combat is different. They have to be single targeted because underwater environment is supposed to be 3D but your mouse is a 2D pointing system so there is no way for the game to know if you point right in front of you or further away and higher/lower in relation to your location.

I like my grenades. They have good damage, good range and good rate of fire. And I like the “Batman” feel of them. So I don’t want them ruined. Take the time and learn them. It will give you an edge. Trust me pal, if I can do it so can you.

Tool Kit- Is it worth it?

It’s a decent kit and I have fun with it. The problem is that it’s a melee kit and since we can’t survive long in melee range, it loses much of its use. Maybe with a few more “gadget” skills in it I would spend more time using it.

The magnet skill has the red bar under it if you are out of range. The thing is that if you start casting in-range and then your target moves away before completing, it will miss.
