For what it’s worth, I’m surprised you ever lost to them.

It’s just coverage, that’s all it is and you can all stop with the denial.

What you need to worry about is how you do in your time zone and how your fights go.
Ehmry Bay has good guilds and has given us great fights, winning quite a few. These tantrums on the forums only detract from that and embarrass yourselves.

From T5 to T1 and back down to T4. EVERY server that has ever lost to us… (all of them except maybe FC we have faced) has said the same things “they PvD”; “They only win because the Oceanics.”

What amazes me is that this is still a story. This has been a known fact since the FIRST Beta weekend, that SoS was the unofficial Oceanic server and everyone knows we bring a nighttime threat.
GET OVER IT AND YOURSELVES!

Just keep bringing the fights in the game and let your victories do the talking.

Not sure if Tier 4/5 is what you’re looking for, but might check out http://www.ehmry.com/ and see if our server might be for you. We have the most active server forums, 3 big guilds and many, many, smaller to medium sized guilds, and also of course the server wide ts3.

I finally fixed it on mine.

Try this- go into this folder: C:\Users\<Your Windows Username>\AppData\Local\Temp (you may want to turn on the “show hidden files” to enter here) and delete the folder named "gw2cache{lot of numbers}

The game will rebuild the cache when you load it. See if that works for you.

Same here. Haven’t been able to get on the TP since yesterday. Have restarted game multiple times and still no luck.

RNG liked us this week, 3 mostly NA servers for a change :p

Right now Borlis is about in the middle in ranking and has the chance to fight most of the servers that have been named with 5 man teams. I think they might be a good place to look if you are wanting to run against the small teams so you can fight them.

For Ebay I’d like:
1. Crystal Desert
2. Yaks Bend

Think it could be an extremely close score if CD was thrown in the mix.

Is this bugged on all servers? On SoR it’s stuck with only the first pattern showing and one torch lit. Tried to do the second pattern from a youtube video but it didn’t light the next torch or change the display.

If there’s a server with it working, let me know!

This happened to us yesterday. The way we worked past it was using the other possible patterns and it finally worked.

Actually, it’s not all there. The really bad stuff the mods made go poof The guy from Borlis that started it, they also made him go poof I’m not talking just a post or two, the mods got to a few of those match threads and made sometimes half a page vanish.

Am I? I guess if two of you have called me on it now, then I don’t know, and I’m not in any position to deny. Though it certainly is not intentional on my part, no. My blood was pretty hot yesterday morning, to be sure. Having had time now to recollect on my frustration, I can only blame it on the unfortunate nature of my play timeslot. I’m never there for the “fun stuff” that goes on during our prime time. The fight clubs, the guild-meets, etc… I never see any of it. Every morning this week I hop on and we’re on a +20 points or below uphill slog and whenever we do manage to wrest something back from them, their zerg returns to reclaim it minutes later. Is that a complaint? Maybe. Is it DB’s fault they have so many people and are probably just simply bored to the point of camping our spawns? Not at all. The losing doesn’t bother me at all, as I’ve previously stated it’s pretty much a given. While I certainly don’t find it necessary for an entire zerg to take on a single person, while when solo or even in twos they scatter and flee or hide behind siege. I swear I’m not that scary and almost never attack first, lol. If that were the case, the two AFK’ers I found lounging about DB’s north camp yesterday would’ve been dead instead of left be.

I’ve been on Ehmry Bay from day 1, and have to say it’s got to be one of the friendliest groups of any game I’ve ever played with.

Not sure about dungeon runs, I only run them with guild mates, and I spend most of my time in wvw, but in wvw they kind of remind me of a bunch of guys/girls you could go out and have a drink with. Funny most of the time, and hardly anyone complaining when something goes wrong. Usually a dust ourselves off and try a different tactic.

Although we do have some of the loudest forum warriors, though these same people in game are super fun to run with. I just assume they like to rile up our competitors lol

I would say you guys would probably do better than us CD in T4. You guys have a far bigger NA while we have lost our night guilds to TC.

Honestly, I think a match between, CD, SBI, and Ebay would be awesome. Too bad we’ve never gotten the chance. Always a T3 server in there with us.

If you are wanting huge lag causing battles the upper tiers are good
The Mid tiers are a mixture of zergs and small roaming groups
Lower tiers also have zerging I guess, but more roaming and small man group friendly

Other than that, oh and Tarnished Coast is the unofficial RP server if that’s your thing also

I was going to say the same thing. I’m on Ehmry and we have tons of people in wvw, and when I do pve, have no problems finding people to do group events with.

Depending on the location for the daily, I’ll notice a shift in population towards the one needed. Or timers for big events like the dragons, or Maw, will also move a lot of people to those areas.

Also today is reset for wvw so LA will be packed with people for that.

But, but, I thought we were like this….

Check out the WVW forum and find the match thread for your server. Ask in there if they have any advice, and you might find some people on your server willing to take you on a run in wvw to show you the ropes. Most servers seem pretty happy to have new players wanting to try out wvw. Good luck and See you on the battlefield

edited: Just seen your question on teamspeak. Most servers do have some form of voice comm. You can ask in your Lions Arch or in WVW and someone should have the info for you. Again, don’t be nervous just jump on in. Always keep supply on you, and listen to your team and you’ll be fine.

The outmanned buff counts for the ENTIRE map, not just your specific fight.

Completely off topic but, has anyone seen our resident ram builder lately? He seems to have finally vanished. At least, I haven’t seen him or his rams in a few days. Just curious if he’s missing from BP too. Maybe anet finally got rid of him.

As far as population goes, higher the tier, the more populated they become.

I do get an occasional dodge to register and am almost complete. However, no one is being considerate and dying for me. Making the daily dependent on people dying around you is the height of stupidity. It looks like, for the first time since launch, I’m going to miss two dailies in a row. Thank you Anet, you’ve broken something that worked beautifully and taken a major source of reward away from me.

If you take out level scaling, then you would also have to take away our option of getting drops appropriate for our level. Otherwise, why would a level 80 hang out in a level 80 area if he can one shot level 5’s and get the same loot?
