Keep Calm and FoV On
Thank You!
Oh come off it. Skilled players will use it as a useful metric to improve. Nothing, and I repeat nothing, should be based off or balanced off of sPvP hot join.
Bads don’t need excuses to be Bads. They will continue to gank if this is added or not.
For those of you woried about being excluded from groups. You can always show your Win/Loss ratio and explain. If the team wont take you when you have a good WLR but a low KDR, then they probably aren’t worth your time anyway.
Favorite: Human, Tengu, Dwarf
Can DIAF: All the rest.
Overflow WvWvW maps that function like alliance battles used to. Have there reset on the same timer and have them be worth a number of points. Yes it is a little more sPvP in feel, but let’s you play in a much larger number of players to still earn badges of honor and points for your server.
I hear you SyberSmoke. They should be added added in as an additional recipe.
I made the fireballs hurt more. Not greatly more – they’ll do about 3-4k damage to a DPS focused player, but you should have anywhere between 15k-25k HP, so there’s a bit of wiggle room for error.
I don’t mind the extra damage at all. I think though that players should also receive a boost in ways to mitigate damage through skilled play. Currently we are two dodges and spent, due to simple randomness a roll will often times lead to having to roll again out of a new fireball spot so you spend it rather quickly. I’d think that changing it from 2 endurance bars to 3-5 while keeping the regen rate the same would be a good start.
The other option I see would be to reduce overall cooldown timers on our 6 skill to allow players to heal slightly more often.
Also, just to clarify, I don’t really see these numbers you quote as being attainable with rare gear, so are Explorable mode dungeons only for those already in crafted exotics?
The cloth I can understand, but there is so much leather on the marketplace that its better to sell leather of all levels to the vendor than on the trading post. Seriously, you can get it dirt cheap. Ask your guild mates to send you some, they probably have it coming out their…ears, yah we’ll go with ears.
If you don’t have a guild….maybe you should get one.
Meh…..we get twilight/sunrise/eternity to work on….who wants a bow when you have access to the best legendaries in the game anyway.
clicked the link, looked at the picture. Its odd cause everything else is in english, but there is an extra line added between Required Level and Soulbound. Very interesting find.
Well, I ran a much larger sample, 200 level 80 Acolyte Leg pieces. I got a total of 11 Gossamer, so about 5% of the time. I got 3 silk quite often though, about 30% of the time. 2 silk around 50% of the time, and the rest was single silk.
I walked away not quite understanding what the real break down is. But I was wearing full MF gear totaling a little over 100% MF. Considering this aspect, I figure that the 3 silk proc was “rare” as well as the gossamer proc, getting me around a 35% rare rate.
The method is still full of holes and I plan on doing another run soon with all my MF removed to see if I can isolate the factors more.
[Spoilers] ArenaNet "confirms" the fan theories about Elder Dragons?

Anet probably meant the force of nature comment in terms of their power. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t stick around if a hurricane was coming.
Glint was an ED Lt. that went rouge. Kralkotorak didn’t or couldn’t pull the plug on her power. Instead as soon as he rose he flew to the crystal desert and killed her. That is how the whole crystal scar was formed. The land under his flight path became corrupted and the creatures became the branded.
I am all for the idea of the PC Sylvari Pale Tree being a ED Lt. that was purified by Ventari and his teachings. Its sort of the nature vs. nurture aspect of things. It also explains the existence of other Pale Trees and the nightmare court quite nicely.
I would totally take a custom figurine of my character and would even pay huge amounts of money if it is as good as the Rytlock CE edition figure.
I’m sure the bankers thought the same way with subprime loans for homes and everyone sees where that got us. Novel thought here, how about not using a loophole to maximize personal gains and instead offer constructive feedback on progression to anet through the forums they have provided.
Just because something can be done doesn’t mean it should be done. All you are doing is justifying going against the spirit of the game by playing a whole different metagame. It doesn’t make it right just because its magically more efficient to karma that way, it means there is a design flaw. Sure, you can blame anet for that, but it doesn’t mean you should abuse it.
Personally I feel that it violates the core concept of the game. You are a Hero. Hero’s don’t let the bad guys win because if they stop them tomorrow they get more money. A core pillar of my guild is playing the game “in the spirit” of the rules, not the written word that people who think they are clever will try to manipulate.
If it feels wrong, it probably is. If you have to justify what you are doing, it is probably wrong. If you ever think to yourself,‘well ArenaNet left in this loophole,so it must be OK’, then you are wrong.
Stop trying to Game the System and just Play the Game.
