Just try a few things. Mesmer, or Elementalist are great to play. Don’t pay too much attention to the class forums. Every class thinks their class got screwed with the most, often not even making sense. It’s funny. Feedback is one thing, but the amount of negativity (including name-calling, use of weird arguments, etc) on these subforums….da-amn. I tried to do the same since I play multiple chars, but after reading so much negativity I don’t even bother anymore. There are better sources to learn a certain class Have fun with your choice!

Going to New York, that’ll keep us busy ^^ But OT: I’m close to two legendaries and also focussing on gathering, and making ascended armor for some of my chars. Doing Teq, just normal exploring, etc.

No regrets here. I do it for the effect and how it fits my chars. I’ve had Eternity for years now, still able to get lost in its effect. Made six so far and feel the same about each of them.

I’ve played around with FB, but I don’t really see your concerns. To me..it only makes sense that they nerfed the passive a bit. There are so many ways to do burning now..I mean, things melted in PvP, aswell as PvE. The Tome alone does plenty of burning and considering tomes is the main thing about FB..

I tried sword and scepter as additional weapons and both worked out fine. Really looking forward to this spec. You may not be OP easily, but it’s certainly strong (after a few hours in PvP and two stress tests – so you/me can only improve – plus things can still be changed.

In short: (PvE build)

Traits:

- Radiance 2, 2, 1 (since I’ll be focussing on burning this seems like the most logical line, next to the other two). Considered Zeal, but in the end I decided Radiance would work better for me. Renewed Justice is one of the traits that made it easier to pick Radiance.

- Virtues 1,2,1 (I love Virtues and use them a lot and I see myself using them even more with FB – yay tomes – so it was an auto include really). Absolute Resolution is an extra condi cleanse, which is always welcome. The other two were easy to pick.

- Firebrand 2 (tho I’m not sure about that one yet, liking 3 aswell), 3, 3. All in all this is the line I’m the most unsure of. Quickness may be awesome, but I also like the idea of tomes. Especially torn between Stalwart Speed and Legendary Lore. Anyone with tips?

Armor:

- 2 Ascended Trailblazer pieces (Head & Leggings)
- 4 Ascended Viper’s pieces
- Runes of the Traveler (Yes, I know it’s not the best, but since it’s for PvE I’m accepting the sacrifice for some extra movement).

Weapons:

- Axe (sigil of bursting)/Torch (sigil of earth) (both Viper’s). Using the the earth sigil only in the beginning, untill my mesmer has her own torch. Open for ideas!

- Sword (sigil of bursting)/Focus (tho Shield is also an option) (Sword is Viper’s, focus is Celestial, since it has to share the focus with my ele for now).

- Will be keeping Scepter aswell for fights where I prefer slightly more distance. Probably pairing that with shield. Both are Viper’s.

Jewelry:

- Celestial for now. It’s a safe option for now (for me).

Utilities:

- Purging Flames (burning & Condi cleanse in one)
- Mantra of Lore (tho I’ll be switching this one for another in zones with very little condi damage.
- a shout (not sure which one yet).

Stress Test: Mirage Open world

in Mesmer

Posted by: Alwayshappy.2549

Alwayshappy.2549

I mean, you haven’t offered any points of discussion other than " I kinda liked mirage " and “I felt strong. So mobile. it was insane.”

I took all of your points/opinions and refuted them with examples. You took that and got extremely defensive with “Sorry for being positive about the spec. Sorry for actually liking it more than core mesmer (tho I loved Chrono) and sorry for trying something new succesfully. It may not be for everyone, but my opinion is worth just as much.”

You also, at the end of that, restated your opinions but as discussion points without acknowledging the refutation. There has been no discussion with you. Your posting here has simply been stating that you have an opinion and that it matters, while refusing to look beyond it and see anyone else’s views or opinions.

I, along with a lot of other people here (I hope) have read your opinions and acknowledged them. Heck, I took each of your points and wrote a long reason as to why they are not a good representation of Mirages strength, because they are not unique to Mirage. If that doesn’t make sense, think about it like this: You can take off Mirage and still have AoE Condi, Massive In-Combat Mobility, and Damage.

I didn’t actually say anything about damage to you, and I’m sorry for not doing that, although I have done that many times in this sub-forum. The reason why Damage is trivial on Mirage (at the moment) is that the Ambushes don’t scale well, the traits add very little, and the only gains in numbers is 150 Condition Damage + 300 Expertise (20% Condition Duration) vs ~100-250 Condition Damage (based on toughness) + 0-495 Expertise (33% Condition Duration based on boons on you) via Chaos (since that is the accepted standard line to be replaced by Mirage).

I’m not saying you don’t know what you’re doing or you’re wrong about everything. But you’ve only posted your opinion and adamantly stamped your feet saying that you’re right because you have an opinion. I’m glad that you have an opinion, and it’s definitely good to go against the grain if that’s what you believe, but you should also realize that we’re giving feedback and you’re just coming here with an opinion and not accepting our feedback, both to you or about the spec itself.

Look, I realise I could have written a bigger post explaining why I felt certain things, but in the end I’m not the best with words and I didn’t had the time to spent a lot of time on my post. I went in with the thought of just giving my opinion. It may not have been detailed enough for some of you and I can understand that, but that doesn’t mean I deserved getting attacked like that.

And yes, then I react in a defensive way. What would you do if several people told you your opinion couldn’t be taken seriously, because you’re not maining mesmer/just trolling? I’m sorry, but all the need to explain myself dissapeared with those comments. Not necessarily made by you, but they were made by others anyway. I shouldn’t have to defend my opinion, even if it’s not detailed enough for some. You (and with ’’you’’ I mean the people who actually said those things) don’t have to agree, or to even like an opinion, but attacking (with the lack of a better word) me for it? That’s taking it a bit far.

I’m truly sorry if you felt like I was attacking other people with my original post. It wasn’t my intention. There’s just so much hate in general about the new elite specs, that I felt like a nice review would be a nice change of pace. I’m a positive person and try to motivate people to look at things from sunny glasses, so to speak. If that came across like ‘’look at me being awesome and look at you all being noobish’‘, I’m truly sorry. Again, I wasn’t thinking that at all.

I do agree (like I stated in my original post) that the spec could use some minor tweaks/fixes. Ambushes seemed weird (low dps, small window), among others. What I meant with my original post was that the playstyle was great for me. Love the idea of mirrors, ambushes, etc. I do in fact respect your opinion. My post wasn’t meant to discredit others, it was meant as something more positive. I could have just stayed silent, but I believe I also had the right to say what I said, despite lacking some detail. I do/did appreciate your large posts though. You can see you main(ed) Mesmer and yes, that you know more about Mesmers than I do.

That said, like I said, I’m a positive person, so this is my last post in this thread. Don’t want to offend any more people and I sure as hell don’t want to be attacked either. I truly hope we can all enjoy the spec when it arrives! Have fun!

They even nerfed deadeye further?

They mentioned they didn’t change a thing from the last PvP beta weekend, so it wasn’t nerfed even more. That’s all I can say about the subject tho. I’ve only played Daredevil for like a few hours (never got the hang of it) and only tried DeadEye during the last pvp preview weekend.

I did in fact try (on a golem, but ok) how fast you kill it with a rifle, compared to a shortbow. Rifle was a bit faster for me. Not much tho.

Just one thing I noticed with Mirage’s skill “Illusionary Ambush.”

Frequently when using the skill, it ports you to a random spot with you NOT facing your target. The time to use the Ambush skill often ran out and if in PvP, the target might easily notice which one is not you.

Other than that, didn’t notice any bugs. Thanks for letting us test. o/

Yeah this is a very annoying bug. Illusionary Ambush needs to be fixed so that the player will always face towards the target immediately on teleport, so you can cast the ambush.

Agreed. The one thing about playing Mirage that I had an issue with.

Stress Test: Mirage Open world

Maybe I’m seeing things weirdly, but personally found Mirage to be a breeze in open world, much easier and faster than condi chrono – unless they’ve deliberately undertuned the pve mobs’ health in Crystal Oasis compared to similar veterans in say LW3 maps.

Yes it’s still clunky, still needs a lot of fixing and buffs, but the core playstyle flow and damage application felt solid.

From the IH thread:
“Ok this stress test has just confirmed how much I LOVE infinite horizon.

Sod all the other traits, this trait is so much fun to use and synergises really well with burst for my build – ie get some clones out, axe 3, or utility blink then ambush into shatter.

The point is not leaving clones up indefinitely casting ambush – it’s having them all cast one (or two) ambush and straight into F1 or F2. In the case of staff if you position yourself right and with deceptive evasion you can stack a good bit of might.
On axe it’s better to ambush in close range after axe 3 then shatter.

Cooldowns are such you can get a good cadence going in terms of ambush into shatter into melee with things like axe 2, back into staff and repeat.

Either way it’s chewing through the large pve mobs like butter, better than chrono because both axe and staff cleave everything and I don’t even have the right stats to make use of things like sharper images or precision for more direct damage crit (I want to go viper for hybrid but the demo gear was carrion).

Also I find it surprising how much the evade sharing keeps illusions alive in order to shatter.

There’s a lot of issues to be fixed, but infinite horizon must be in game – either basline for the class or as it is now, because it is so much fun to use. I think if it didn’t exist I’d rather play chrono."

The mobs are undertuned. They also nerfed the hounds in the story step from the last build.

More importantly, mesmer has never had issues in open world because illusions often take aggro, drawing the burst skills/cc from mobs onto them instead of you.

Where did you read that? I simply read they already made some changes to the elite specs/maps, but that this stress test wouldn’t show those changes yet. It would be 100% like the previous two preview weekends…

Anyway…I’m not a main Mesmer, but I kinda liked mirage in pvp and I never really agreed with all of the hate, even winning several 1vs3’s, current meta builds included. I wanted to check it in PvE aswell, since I spent most of my time there. kitten , I felt strong. So mobile. So much AoE condi damage, it was insane. At times it still felt clunky and I agree some minor tweaks could improve the situation a bit, but it’s no way as kittenome people call it out to be. There’s a learning curve for everything, which goes for nearly everything.

Once again somebody who doesn’t play Mesmer comes in and tells people with extensive knowledge of the class that they are wrong about everything.

It is getting tiring.

Gee, thanks for making me feel so welcome. All I said was that I enjoy the spec and don’t really agree with all the hate. That’s MY opinion. Don’t like it? That’s not my problem. If you can’t read, and prefer to read what you want to read in order to justify your post, that’s also your problem.

So… other than having a new weapon, Mirage offers nothing to Mesmer is what I’m getting from your posts.

Axe2 “AoE Condi” 3 stacks of Torment IF you aim-bug it, otherwise it’s 1-2 stacks of Torment on each target. If you trait axe, it adds 1 stack of Torment to a random target near you (whichever target the axe locks onto).

You literally get more AoE condi from Scepter, and Mirage does not offer more in-combat mobility than base (or even Chrono) Mesmer, even counting Axe blinks.

It offers way more than just that to me(which I named), but to each their own, not going to defend myself any further. I hope that you will learn to enjoy the spec tho, that certain things will get fixed. It may not be my main, but I spent a lot of days on my mesmer anyway and I’m glad to see a spec that I enjoy.

Mobility: has never been an issue for Mesmer. As long as we’re talking about in-combat mobility. Mirage brings no OOC mobility bar Sword Ambush, which is basically the only use for it. You can argue that you get Superspeed on dodge, but that’s a moot point because you also don’t move on dodge and its sole purpose is to account for that.

AoE (Condi) Damage: with what? Sure, Axe cleaves, but that’s not more mobbing than we’ve had with Sword. Additionally, Axe only cleaves with it’s auto attack, which is less than what we’ve got on Sword. As for the condi portion, a well aimed Scepter3 will add more AoE condi than Axe autos. Crystal Sands gets caught on terrain and it’s probably bad in the Crystal Desert with all the mounds and lumps (I didn’t get a chance to get on and test). Jaunt is pretty small damage, condi or otherwise. If you get rid of the AoE portion and say that it has good condi damage, the damage increase over Condi Mesmer is minimal (and mostly from getting more stats from Mirage traitline than Chaos).

There’s a learning curve for everything, which goes for nearly everything. Yes, there is, and just jumping directly into Mirage may very well feel good, but the difference between Mirage and Mesmer is minimal. Mirage feels like a base traitline, not an elite spec. What it adds is clunkiness and weak, with the exception of illusion retargeting (which isn’t even its primary mechanic).

Imagine if I jumped right into Weaver in PvE and said it felt great and it did a ton of damage. I don’t play Elementalist, and I don’t have a baseline comparison. For all I know, it does less damage than another weaponset, but all I know is that there were big numbers and flashy animations. That’s what you’ve done here.

Mirage does very little to improve damage and it lacks cohesion. Instead of solving a problem in the core class by offering something new, it breaks the core class by adding a mechanic that not only goes against itself, but also goes against the core class.

With all due respect: that’s not what I’ve done here, but if it helps you to think that, go ahead. My main may not be a mesmer, but that doesn’t mean I’m just now trying it out. Sorry for being positive about the spec. Sorry for actually liking it more than core mesmer (tho I loved Chrono) and sorry for trying something new succesfully. It may not be for everyone, but my opinion is worth just as much.

Anyway..AoE wise..no, there is also AoE on axe 2. Just saying. And yes, sword does AoE, but that’s not the point. Sword doesn’t do AoE condi damage…condi damage was what I was talking about Mobility wise I was talking about in combat.

One of my mains is an elementalist. I mainly PvE (Fractals, world events, story modes, etc), but also do the very occassional WvW.

Anyway, my Elementalist has a full marauder set atm (with the exceptions of the two accesoires, which are Celestial), since I’m playing Tempest. Now with Weaver…I really don’t know wether to change the stats, or not. Tempted to go 50/50 Marauder and Viper’s, since Weaver benefits from both power and condi damage (and my idea is to have a kind of hybrid weaver), but would that be a good call (asking for PvE mainly)?

I realise I could just decide a few weeks into the expansion, but I like to be prepared and play the best I can from the very start.

‘’The developers intend for the test to run a couple of hours and they hope to enable the elite specs. One of the advantages of our release system is it has a great deal of flexibility so it depends exactly on how our internal ‘pre-testing’ goes as to what will be enabled.’’

But i tried power and it is lacking, at least in sword, sure they have extra ferocity with a trait when fully attuning into an element, but that doesnt work well with the mechanic of dual attuning.

‘’Gain a damage bonus for a period of time when attuned to a single element. Gain ferocity based on a percentage of your power. ’’

This means that you get the ferocity either way.

I’m planning to craft ascended armor for my Firebrand ahead of the next expansion. I’ll mainly be using him in open world PvE/big events/fractals, and perhaps some WvW (but rarely).

Was thinking of crafting Viper’s, but before I’d start I thought it would be a good idea to ask it here, to avoid a ‘’kitten , I shouldn’t have done that’’. The reason why I think of Viper’s is because the build will be burning focussed. I got two accesoires with celestial stats (ascended), which I plan to keep.

I have no issues with it. It’s only fair that new players also get the chance to get certain items. It doesn’t demenish your hard work, you are making a choice to see it that way and it feels kinda selfish, sorry. There are still things newer players will never be able to get. The memories. Plus…you had YEARS to enjoy your items. Years they can never take back. Instead you choose to let yourself feel this way. Be happy for other people. You can still enjoy your character and it will always be unique.

Ascended armor, what to buy for PoF

Hey!

For the last couple of months I’ve given some of my mains an ascended set. My revenant has a full marauder set, as does my Tempest. My necromancer has a Sinister/Viper set. Including accesoires, rings, etc.

Now with PoF coming…aswell as the new elite specs…I don’t know what to craft anymore. Since my elementalist already has a marauder set I really hope it’s still viable to use it in PvE (I spend like 90% of my time in PvE/Fractals, the other 10% in sPvP/WvW). I am planning to go weaver. Some people are saying it’s going to need Viper’s, I’ve also heard some people claim Marauder will still be viable. Should I just keep my marauder set? Or change the stats to Vipers anyway (which I don’t want to do if Marauder is still going to be viable).

I’m planning to keep Herald on my Rev, so Marauder is still going to be great on him.

Scourge still revolves around condi damage, so sinister/viper’s is still good enough, right?

My mesmer, aswell as my guardian will be two of my main characters in PoF. Both don’t have an ascended set yet. I am tempted to give them a Viper’s set, but is that the right call? I’m far from a pro, so I just wanted to be sure before spending that much gold.

If so, my mesmer could just share a set with my necro, but they’ll need different runes I suppose? Which wouldn’t be handy. Also not a fan of throwing a set from one char to the other…constantly.

Anyone with tips?

Tried basically every class. I’m not a die-hard pvp guy, so I would have liked to test the builds in a PvE map, so that’s my first point of feedback: please organise another preview weekend…where we’re able to test the builds in PvE. Even if it’s just for one evening. It’s great that you made PVP people happy, but GW2 doesn’t revolve around PVP only.

That said, a short breakdown:

- Weaver: Liked the concept. Loved the skills. Loved the animations. Basically…don’t change anything about the system…., but sword needs to be buffed. Like someone else mentioned: using a dagger gives you more dps, which is strange, since using a sword brings you closer into the action. The reward of that should be noticeable in the dps. The elite skill feels odd. I used it multiple times, but I still don’t know what it actually does? The utility skills feel weak, compared to the tempest utility skills. Also, please make sure a power build is given. There’s enough condi in the game.

- Mirage: Loved it. It was one of the most stable classes I’ve tried in PvP. I am not impressed with the ambush skills tho. They need a slight buff. Also, they should trigger automatically. It’s too easy to miss the ambush window.

- Holosmith: Compared to the other classes this is the build that feels the most OP. They have everything and are quite easy to play. Being easy to play is no bad thing, but the way it is right now…skilled people who play with complicated classes like mirage, weaver, etc, are less succesful than beginners who just spam skills on holosmith. Imagine skilled players playing holosmith. So in short: nerf the damage a bit, nerf their surviveability slightly.

- Spellbreaker: Seems nice. Never really played a warrior, but it seems to be quite stable. It was hard to pick good utilities though. There are a lot of traits/utilities that require enemies having boons. Sooooo….what about PvE? Where most minions don’t have boons?

- Firebrand is great! By far my favorite elite spec so far. Numbers feel stable. Don’t change a bit.

- Dead Eye: I tried this one a lot, since I wanted rifle to work. It could work in PvE and it could work for certain skilled thiefs (I suck at it, so), but it feels really clunky. It’s nice to snipe someone down from across the room, but it feels dirty. Too easy. That said, if you get close to them it’s over for them. It sucks that you gave them even more stealth tho. Stealth, snipe, stealth seems a bit OP. The damage is insane. 2-3k with auto attack rifle. 15-17k crits with sniper 4. Compare that with the weaver auto attack of 1k…crits of 2/3k…

Going for bolt. Not sure about which dagger to combine it with tho. I just got Bolt, so don’t have the resources for Incinerator. Possible Fused Dagger, or Tempest Dagger.

Positives:

- The map looked gorgeous. It’s great that the map was easy to navigate again (several maps in HoT & Living Story were a hell to explore – even tho I liked the idea of updrafts and bounce mushrooms), which is something I really missed. Of course we don’t know what the other maps will look like, but so far I’m impressed.

- It could be that a big meta chain was shut off for the beta, but I like the fact that you can explore the map without getting involved in a big meta chain. I love doing events, but sometimes I just want to explore. I’m happiest with the regular champion/legendary events, or a normal event chain (like core Tyria).

- Mounts. Do. Not. Change. A. Thing. Don’t give in to complains please. After having played MMO’s for years mounts finally feel organic, fresh and just…well..right! It would be nice to see some skins to make your mount look more original, but dyes is a good start. Again: Do not change a thing. Perfect just the way it is.

Negatives:

- The only thing I can think of: unidentified gear. My husband and I often use the option to salvage all green items, or lower….but by doing so it also salvages the unidentified armor boxes…which is far from handy. I get it’s supposed to be a time safer (you don’t have to sell as much, since they stack), but salvaging every item one by one in order to avoid salvaging unidentified gear boxes…is far from a time safer.

- On the subject of unidentifed gear boxes….an official explanation would be nice to have. Will we get those boxes in every zone, or just the new expansion zones? Do they boxes replace the normal gear we get from bosses/random minions, or is it something extra? What about ascended armor/weapon chests? I assume we will still get them seperately…..? I’m really confused. Not against the idea, but please explain it further.

- Not a fan of mini-games and mastery points hidden behind mini-games.

Same here, just got Dc’d while in Bloodstone Fen and cannot get back into game on any character, can get to char select screen, then it just sits until it pops up error 7.

Same here, tho we were mapping Verdant Brink.

Played the beta for 1 hour. Loved it. I love the way mounts were created. It feels different from other MMO’s (WoW in particular) and more realistic. The zone looks gorgeous (can’t say anything about the other maps ofcourse) and it was very easy for me to get lost in the moment…which HoT never really did. The maps were hard to navigate, messy and I didn’t like the fact that some points of interests/vistas were hidden behind meta events. It looks like the new maps will be the perfect mix between HoT and the core game. I expected the zone to be a bit bigger (yes, I realise the map continues in the east, but even then..), but after seeing a comparison with an original map I’m sattisfied. Sure, there were no meta chains on the new map, but those could still be disabled and if not….great too. As long as there are events/champions/bounties, etc I’m happy.

Everyone has the right to give feedback, but honestly…reading some reviews..it looks like players already made up their mind before trying it out. It’s very easy to get lost in that. That way a game will never get a honest chance imo. There will always be things within a game that certain people hate, it’s impossible to please everyone, but sometimes it seems like certain people just need to whine. To feel interesting or something. People who will never be happy.

I have to disagree, the mounts have momentum and weight that makes them a joy to ride, the biggest issue with gliders was that they had no real momentum, you could pivot on a dime.

Please don’t change how mounts handle, they’re the first time i’ve had fun with movement in any MMO for a long, long time.

This so much. Some people have to whine about everything/anything tbh. It’s just something you have to get used to. I love it.

new maps are just regular sized.

Alwayshappy.2549

If you’re going to compare map sizes then use the full map and not just what’s available in the demo.

Next time before you try to be smart, at least think about it for a second. I put the screenshots for a reason. And if you really think me or anyone else would miss big fat red border that blocks part of the map then I don’t know what to say to you. I didn’t state anything regarding the size of the map, just put two maps side by side with equal amount of zoom. The picture you put, alone tells absolutely nothing.

But the map you posted is missing a ton of content compared to the actual version that will go live. Where’s the point in posting that as a comparison? OP was complaining about the size and you posted this as a comparison, most people would see that as an argument for OP’s case, which in this case is completely off base.

It was pretty obvious to me that he meant it this way: ’’Here’s the entire region of Queensdale’’…just compare it to the part of the map that’s playable atm….even then the maps are already about the same size…just imagine he wasn’t comparing it to the whole (new) zone. Plus…everybody can see the map continues to the east ^^

First area smaller than expected beta

Hi!

So….we started the preview weekend. Got a mount and we ran throughout the area that’s currently open. My husband noted that the map will probably continue on the south side, but there are walls everywhere. There are some things in the east (which we can already see, a waypoint, etc), but…..that’s really it? Didn’t the creators say the world (5 zones) would be bigger than of the HoT maps and Living Story 3 maps combined? Due to that I expected A LOT more.

Mount skins?

Alwayshappy.2549

Hey!

Everything about the expansion announcement sounds super. Already pre-ordered the ultimate edition.

I just had one question…regarding the mounts. Everyone will get the same mounts (by mastery point system iirc), but are they planning to introduce skins for mounts aswell? In store, or perhaps in-game? Not create different mounts, but just different skins, so you get slightly more variation.

And will they only be available in the new zones, or are mounts also available in other zones?

I still don’t understand why Arenanet choose this mechanism for the current pvp season. My husband and I played PVP for years now…we’re not the best of the best (ended in Ruby last season), but we’re certainly not bad either. We’re always on top of our group and we have no issues winning 1vs2, or even 1vs3. We know when to defend and when to cap, etc.

But this season? We keep getting the worst players around. We keep losing, because we get people who just run to far to die over there (because they’re on their own)…and they keep making the same mistakes. We keep getting teams with (for example) 2 warriors, or 2 thiefs, while the other team always seems to have the most perfectly balanced team around (for example: necro, engineer, ranger, ele and guardian). We always end up on top and we keep winning 1vs2, or even 1vs3, but while we’re doing that the other people in our party cannot even defend one other point.

So yeah, we’re really frustrated right now. We managed to get into Emerald, but it took us about 50 games. We had a lose-streak of 30 games.

What are we supposed to do about that? We just had the bad luck that our first match this season was full of noobs on our side? What sort of system is that?

The solution should be simple….not just your team mates must have the same MMR as you, but the enemy team should have the same MMR aswell. How hard is that? At least then we can carry our team, or at least stand a chance. This current system is just unfair for the people who have the skill, but lack the luck.

Payment issue SEPA incoming chargeback

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: Alwayshappy.2549

Alwayshappy.2549

Um, if they declined it, how did you receive anything for that particular payment? Are you sure you got gems? And if you did get gems, it’s pretty clear it was not you who kittened up. The rest of the payments went through. Clearly your bank screwed up. Even a person with an IQ of 50 can see something went wrong. And why would you pay 300 euros but chargeback 10? I honestly doubt it was a chargeback, but rather, it never went through in the first place, and you didn’t get gems for it.

Are you banned right now? No? Then calm down and wait for the holiday period to end.

No, I’m not banned right now. But I know that I will be, because of all the stories online.

It is a chargeback though. I used SEPA (which is basically an authorisation for payment), which means that I gave permission to them to charge my bank account a few days later…while getting the items directly, so yeah, I did get the gems. For some reason the bank had no issues accepting SEPA’s/Charges for 100 euro and more, while not accepting a 10 euro charge. I find that odd. I suspect it has something to do with the way A-Net charged my bank (description mentioned it was a recurring charge, while the ones that got through all had ’’first’’ in their description), but I can reach neither a-Net, nor my bank. It’s 10 euro, so I would be furious if they’d close my account for that, while I’m offering to pay for it any other way. It must be pretty clear I’m not committing any fraud, or anything. Makes no bloody sense

Hello,

I already made a ticket about this (2019212), but no response so far, so I’m trying it here aswell, since I’m stressing about this…which is not how I want to spend my Christmas days..

A few days ago I bought a lot of gems (think 250-300 euro). Enough money on my bank account. All of the payments went through, but one…., because when I checked my bank account I noticed that one order of authorisation is going to be declined on the 28th. It’s a payment of 10 euro. My bank is closed for the holidays, so they’re no help. Like I said…I don’t know why they declined it, since I have enough money and the other payments were all accepted. I suspect because the description said it was a recurring booking, while the ones that went through all had ’’first’’ in their description, instead of ’’recurring’’. This is not my fault, but from what I’ve heard…in cases like this…an account gets permabanned.

I’ve always been a loyal customer and the fact that I frequently buy gems (no incidents before this..) should say enough. There’s A LOT of money in this account. Not to mention the 250-300 euro that I just spent last week.

I’ve already offered to pay the 10 euro manually (in whatever way possible). It’s not my fault and I think it’s unfair that I (a loyal customer) gets his account permabanned for 10 euro..that would just be insane.

Please, please, please…someone fix this for me. I shouldn’t be punished for this. I am contacting the bank asap, but there’s no way I can reach them before the 28th (they are closed for Christmas AND sundays), so yeah…I’m screwed. It’s not how I want to spend my Christmas…please tell me something is possible, especially since I made a notification of it days before the 28th.

Thanks in advance!
