Uh, VoIP, meaning teamspeak or whatever. Also I’m sorry if your voice is not easily distinguishable for your gender. I’m just saying in general, on VoIP females sound like females, and males sound like males. But you’re right this isn’t always true.
I am pretty sure that I am what qualifies as a Baritone. Which is the second lowest type of voice a male can possibly have. I can, if singing on key, pull off a Bass voice. My voice is not easily mistaken for a female voice.
And so glad you can agree with me that males (especially Countertenors, and Tenors) can pull off realistic female voices.

Well, I know that at least the dungeon folks who say they are females are actually female…. You have this thing called VoIP and it is verifiable.
I am a female, and folks who dungeon with me know that. Also I’ve met a ton of females…. I think actually, In the guilds I’ve been in, it has been about 35% female (or thereabouts)…
Anyway, I don’t think there are any official statistics on it. Would be interesting to see!
Um… what does Voice Over IP have to do with Dungeons, much less this game (which unless I am very mistaken doesn’t have a voice chat function built into it)?
…. Most good dungeon runners use VoIP… So you can tell a female voice from a Male one? Sorry I thought that was obvious.
I guess I don’t know very many good dungeoner’s then. Most of the people I run with use no voice chat whatsoever to complete their runs. And how does a glorified Caller ID guarantee that you can distinguish between a male or a female voice?
I am a guy, yet when I answer the phone and it is a telemarketer I am often greeted with a “Hello Ma’am.” after asking who is on the other line. Probably because as I recently learned, the land line at my house is registered to my Mom instead of my Dad.

let’s worry about opening up the entirety of the Crystal Desert and the Far Shiverpeaks to open exploration before we really even think about adding in whole new continents to the game.
Cause ya know… as the Explorers of old (in the real world) used to say in regards to the edges of Map’s “Here Be Dragon’s!” In fact that was the reason anyone who sailed with Christopher Columbus had to write their Last Will and Testament. It wasn’t that they thought the world was flat. It was because they thought actual Dragon’s inhabited anything they hadn’t explored yet.

at least 50% of the people responding to this thread claiming that they are actually females have an 80% chance of actually being guys. Also, the OP has a 90% chance of actually being a guy.
Either way, all people posting in this thread claiming to be girls, will probably be getting spammed in game with “Will you date me requests” by random no lifes.
With that being said, I am going on record as saying, “although I play mostly female characters, I am in fact a guy.” And that is a 100% true statement.
P.S. please note, I didn’t actually say that anyone was actually lying. I just said there was a good chance of it.

Server Merger’s generally only happen in subscription-based games or games that do not have a viable method of transferring characters between servers voluntarily. This is because Server Merger’s are a form of population control. They are meant as a way to increase the population on a moderately or highly populated server, while allowing the company to close-down an under-populated server. This is especially important in games where people are paying subscription fee’s and do not wish to be stuck paying to play on a server where they can’t actually get anything done because no one else is ever on to do anything with them.
This is largely negated on Guild Wars 2 because of several reasons. First and foremost is that PvE is a largely soloable affair. The dungeons that exist in PvE which kind of do require a group, can be joined via group finder, which does allow groups to be formed across multiple servers.
The second way is that you can actually, for a nominal fee, change the server that your characters happen to be on permanently, if you find yourself on an underpopulated server. This is the more realistic reason for why Guild Wars 2 will never have Server Mergers. Because it doesn’t really need them to function.

you realize that Wiki pages can be edited by just about anybody. Wiki’s do not count as official sources of information on this game.
While wiki is not an official source. Did you know that most people who claim that it could be edited by anyone, has never actually tried to edit a page?
I actually have had the pleasure of learning how to edit a wiki page. It is not all that difficult to learn how to do. And yes, anyone can learn how to do it given enough time and patience. So please don’t go using that as an excuse to claim that it somehow validates the information within a wiki page.

I would actually suggest the following:
If you aren’t already level 80, go ahead and start working on making yourself the Charged Quartz Crystals necessary to make the Exotic Armor. By the time you are level 80, assuming you aren’t playing like 12 hours a day every day or something silly like I am, then you should easily have accumulated enough to make the Exotic Armor by that point.
If on the other hand you are already level 80, and have the appropriate crafting skill already to level 400 (which you will need for both Ascended & Exotic Celestials anyways). Then you might as well go ahead and start working towards your Ascended Gear as it will take time to get to level 500 in the Crafting Skill… not to mention the time needed to farm the materials to do so.
That said, Ascended is by default the better gear due to infusion slots and slightly higher base stats. It can also hold Runes in addition to it’s infusions. So there really is no reason not to try for the Ascended Gear if you have the time, and money to waste towards it.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
that… is a really good question.
Especially considering that 60 gold and 60k Glory for the whole set of tier 3 armor is a crap ton cheaper than the 119 gold required to buy the PvE tier 3 armor…
EDIT: turns out they don’t count towards that achievement.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
(edited by An Siorai Tharian.4516)
I’d definitely go for ascended. The recipes for exotic celestial are absurdly expensive, might as well go ascended
Actually, the Ascended Gear is much more absurdly expensive (in terms of time, and in some cases money) when it comes to what you invest into making them. It’s just that the Exotics require a material that is rather difficult/expensive to get unless you played a specific installment of the Living Story. That said, 5 to 30 gold is not all that expensive as far as the Recipe’s go. At least not when compared to something like a Legendary Weapon (which is essentially, stat wise, what Ascended Equipment is).
And yes… it is easier to make the Exotic gear, it just potentially takes more time. All you need is the Recipe, which costs between 5 and 30 gold on the Trading Post (only place it can be obtained ATM), and 5 Charged Quartz Crystals per piece of Armor.
The problem is that in order to make a single Charged Quartz Crystal you need 25 ordinary Quartz Crystals. And you need to take them to a Skill Challenge like the one at the top of the hill in Wayfarer Foothills where you fought the Giant Wyrm (Issormir?) in the Norn Tutorial Mission in order to convert them into Charged Quartz Crystals. The problem is that you can only do this once per 24 hours. And since you need at least 30 Charged Quartz Crystals for the Armor alone, that is approximately 750 Quartz Crystals, or around 7 gold and 50 silver, and at least a months time invested.

I realize that AH + EM is one of the worst PvE builds that one can run on a Guardian. That said, I didn’t really like the alternatives that were presented in those two guides all that much.
That said, yes, I was looking for a strong and active class. That said I was speaking with someone in the game, and he suggested I consider a build for Ele similar to this build:
I realize that the build doesn’t utilize Ascended Weapons and Armor as presented, but that is because at the moment I cannot invest the time money and effort needed to get Ascended. Not to mention that this is just an outline of what I am planning on aiming towards with an Ele. Not what is actually where I will end up at the end of everything all things considered.
That said, I will probably be focusing on my Ele for the time being.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
I’ve looked at the second of those guides… and its not so much a guide as a “Rotation List” and that is not what I am looking for in a guide really at the moment. I can figure out rotations easily enough on my lonesome. What I am looking for is a class that meets my playstyle, which matches the Elementalist a great deal more than the Guardian at the current time. Unfortunately the Elementalist is a great deal more squishy than I would normally like to be playing.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Okay, so I have a Ranger who is level 80. I really did enjoy that character and she is something I have had a great deal of success doing dungeons and stuff with. However I have not had a great deal of success with sPvP, or WvW with her.
That said, I kind of want to level up another toon to 80 who is generally speaking more useful in more diverse things than my Ranger happens to be. I have tried leveling up a Guardian, Elementalist, and Necromancer to between level 20-30.
I can say from experience that the Necromancer, specifically the Minion Mancer build is too slow when it comes to the combat system. It reminds me of play during Guild Wars 1, and I am not particularly thrilled with that. Initially I had enjoyed the Necro because it presented me with a particularly tanky character. But that enjoyment started to wane when I realized that the character just wasn’t as efficient as it could be. Nor was it particularly an active character class.
The Elementalist I do enjoy, because it is a more active class. I especially enjoy the Staff builds. However I have found that the Elementalist suffers from squishiness-syndrome. Which can be problematic in some cases. However it is a class I can enjoy somewhat due to the active nature of the class.
The Guardian while being active and not nearly as squishy as the Elementalist… presents me with concerns that the only relevant build I have been able to find for it is not really the most optimal build for soloing purposes, and is really more optimal for large group settings (Altruistic Healing + Empowering Might). Thus I am not particularly thrilled with the class as I tend to do a great deal of soloing in a PvE setting.
Is there any class that based on what I have said above that you guys think I would enjoy more than the classes I have already tried? And Ranger doesn’t count as I already have it to 80.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
wow. Both those builds are terrible Minion Master Builds. At least for PvE.
Please note that the Minion Master, while it excels at open world roaming, is not really all that viable at Dungeon Delving, which is technically a part of PvE. For that you would want a condition build or something else that does not rely as heavily on Minions. This is because the Minions are liable to attack everything that attacks you, and therefore get you killed in dungeon runs.
That said, the Minion Master is one of the greatest roaming builds for overworld and map completion that is available at the current time.
This is the build I am working towards running:
The reason for this build is that with it, every attack that the minions perform, will grant you health. Meaning that you are going to be nearly impossible for the average monster to kill. Additionally with this build you have higher crit damage/chance, toughness, and power. This means that you will last longer, and do more damage overall. Granted Minions stats aren’t based on these things, but they still help you as the player to do more damage.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Okay, now we have our exploit, which makes complete sense for the bad attitude of the griefers.
unfortunately said griefers have absolutely 0 legs to stand on, as it is actually against the rules to make use of such an exploit if I am not mistaken.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Blind. There is no hit-miss chance calculation. There are evades, blinds, etc. but there’s no hit/miss calculation, you can still make monsters miss by cleverly sidestepping them and other movements such as circling, this isn’t a huge factor contributing to the skill factor however.
Except a level 10 Warrior… and an NPC at that… has no capability to dodge, sidestep, or do any of that other stuff that you listed in your post. So your entire point is moot. Try again.
There’s dodging and more build variety than many other MMOs.
I am sorry, but ABSOLUTELY NOT. The only thing of what you just said that is true is the dodging bit. This game is actually rather limited in relation to build variety. Take Guild Wars 1 for example (that still counts as an MMO, right?), where you had an entire freaking wikipedia site devoted to build diversity
Guild Wars 2 doesn’t come anywhere close to that.

Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Your not going to get it. The chances of Arena Net making Ascended Materials into something that can be sold for profit are about as close to zero as they can get without actually being Zero. This is because they learned from their mistake with Legendary Weapons and the Precursors that are required for them. The instant that the Ascended Mats became something that are tradeable on the trading post, is the instant that the economy of Guild Wars will die a horrible death.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
kings of orr corrupted, kings of orr keep intelligence, act on behalf of zhaitan, bingo, zhaitan isnt intelligent, he’s just corrupted intelligent beings
Yeah. In fact such is actually hinted as being the case by the vision the Pale Tree gives you of Orr, where you are actually able to speak to the intellect of the last King of Orr prior to the Cataclysm. That wouldn’t be possible if the King, who was dead long before the Pale Tree had found her roots, had somehow lost his intelligence. The only way for that to be possible is if his intelligence was still influencing the Dream in some manner. Please note that Zhaitan’s own presence within the dream is that of a mindless monster.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Rezzing the NPCs probably initiates phase 2 of the event, which the haters wanted to prevent. Most likely farming infinite spawns like used to happen at Lyssa Temple in Orr. You’d get yelled at for attacking the walls.
Makes sense, but doesn’t excuse the attitude of the guys who abused the report functionality. I’m now curious on what basis they could have reported Shadey Dancer.
No basis. There is nothing actually wrong with what Shadey Dancer did.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
It’s just a guess but I assume bots are programmed to ‘press’ F every so often to make sure they loot their kills, harvest nodes etc. and if they’re near a downed/dead player or NPC at the time they’ll end up rezzing them instead.
essentially that was my assumption. But my question of how Galespark knows that the train that rezed him was in fact a bot train and not something else still stands.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Shadey Dancer, out of curiosity, did you, even once, answer one of their whispers? Even if it was to say “No I will not stop rezing these NPC’s!”?
Bots don’t rez. Verbal abuse could be a problem for the OP but that is all.
Actually… I beg to differ. A Bot can be programmed to do any activity. It just depends on what the programmer owning the Bot wants it to do, so long as the activity has enough “nodes” within range of the bot for it to be successful at performing that activity over a long period of time. So yes, Bots can Rez. The problem is, why would someone program a Bot to rez?
Simplest Answer is it was a Bot programmed to harvest crafting nodes, but came upon a clump of downed NPC’s and started rezing them instead, since the command to rez is the same as to harvest… But that is neither here nor there, the question I originally asked has not been answered.
Since you already have your answer I felt like going a bit off topic with this one. You are indeed correct in assuming that bots rez, and not just NPC’s. Quite a while ago, I was myself revived in Frostgorge Sound by a small legion of bots that were killing mobs and harvesting there after getting myself killed in some way. Quite an unexpected turn of events that had me giggle I might add.
how do you know they were bots?
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Have you considered reporting them for “harassing other players”? Because you had every right to do so.
It is unfortunately probably too late to do so now though as the relevant data has likely been purged from the server logs by now.

no, I was thinking two pronouns with identical definitions in the same sentence is rather redundant.
I did buy the collection slot upgrade. Saying “there should be absolutely no reason that you should ever need more than 1,000 of a given item at any time anyways” is an opinion, and one of someone who doesn’t understand buying low and selling high, or playing the market. I am not trying to be obtuse, but that statement is false and doesn’t have anything to do with if bloodstone dust may be able to be sold to a vendor one day. Thanks for your reply.
Allow me to rephrase then. “There is absolutely no reason that you should need more than 1,000 of any given account bound item at any one time.”
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Perhaps they will be able to be sold one day, and then disposing of them would have been a bad idea.
yeah right… they are account bound for a reason. And there is nothing that will change that fact except a complete remodeling of how Ascended Weapons and Armor are acquired.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
you do realize you can buy additional character slots. That each character can hold a grand total of 160 inventory slots. That you are essentially not bound to a single character per account. And that because these are account bound you can put them in the inventory of a character whose sole duty is for storage of these account bound items?
That said, just buy the collection slot upgrades and be allowed to store 1,000 of any item in your banks collection tabs. There should be absolutely no reason that you should ever need more than 1,000 of a given item at any one time anyways.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
Actually… we don’t know that for a fact. They may very well be. So far as we know the only one that has displayed any level of intelligence (at least to the best of my knowledge) was Kralkatorrik, who sought out Glint and killed her in a fit of vengeance for having been betrayed. That is a very intelligent thing to do. Most animals don’t feel a need for petty vengeance.
So it could be that the Elder Dragons are in fact sentient, or at least nominally sentient. I won’t argue that they are cold cruel calculatingly intelligent entities like the Planeswalker known as Nicol Bolas (and yes I know his name means “Nicol Balls” in spanish… but that is aside from the point). They are at least as intelligent as Crabbe and Goyle from Harry Potter.
Actually we do.
Minions of the Elder Dragons fight each other, which would suggest that they are not friendly to each other.Zhaitan showed quite a bit of intelligence as well, when attacking the Orders HQs and such. It clearly have enough intelligence to do calculated moves at the least.
or that the Dragons are exceedingly territorial creatures and do not like other Dragons incroaching on their territory, even if it is just with Minions. And that they are expansionist by nature, and thus have reason to attack the order strongholds and such.
Yeah, clearly the activities of a highly intelligent military genius and not some sort of alpha male pack animal.
I do not however see them carrying on long discussions with the PC’s as a means of lulling the PC’s into a false sense of security, while they are moving their forces in behind the PC’s for a pincer attack with the Dragon on one side and the Minions on the other. That would be a sign of intelligence. And Claw Island was not a pincer attack as there was clear room to escape.

I’d have thought that people belly-aching about Scarlet since the Jubilee would at least be interested in the conclusion of her story-arc, if for nothing else than to see her end. Instead many still just want her being gone without notice like she was never there. Sure, because thats good writing, right? Starting some serious plot then just leaving it half-way and forgotten without a single point to its existence.
Im looking forward to the next patches. Specificly for the conclusion of this Living Story arc. This will be the chance for Anet to deliver a satisfying end to a major story since the failure that was Zhaitans defeat. If the fall of the Nightmare Tower was of any indication, they learned much since then.
I may be disappointed in the end, sure, but come on! Give it a chance at least.
a good story needs a good beginning middle and an end not just a good end, months and months of crappy LS wont be redeemed with a good ending, the LS as a “story” is already ruined imo, however they can make up with something tied into the LS with a good content update, for example guilds start making guild halls to combat the new threat or something like that for example but as for the story i just want her to disappear its already ruined for 90% of the player base who appreciate true storytelling.
My question for you is: “Are you kittened because the living story is actually bad? Or are you kittened because the background information for who Scarlet is, and what she is all about wasn’t actually in the game itself, and that you actually had to go to the website to learn that information?”
Because as near as I can tell, the living story (at least the bits of it that I have managed to play) has been quite excellent. The only relevant complaint I can see is that the background info is being posted on the website instead of being presented in the game.
Ranger 80 | Elementalist 30 | Guardian 29 | Necromancer 21
In fact… now that I think about it… of all the things that have ever been created in all of the genre’s of fiction. I think Nicol Bolas is probably the one thing that The Doctor, nor any other Time Lord could possibly defeat. The guy is just too powerful. Especially his pre-mending versions of himself.
I mean the guy poops universes, and crushes them in his claws. Not even the Time Lords had that kind of power. Heck not even the Elder Gods have the kind of power that Nicol Bolas has.
Nicol Bolas is on record as having stated to another Planeswalker (granted this was to a baby Planeswalker who was not innately immortal by virtue of being an Elder Dragon to begin with) that “I’ve survived more apocalypses than you’ve had chest colds.”

Seems like Scarlet’s taking some dragon power into herself? Destroying what she was to become a dragon puppet..? If she’s bat kitten crazy does that mean I can destroy her with my batty greatsword?
I’M SO EXCITED.
Sylvari are not able to be corrupted by the Elder Dragon’s. Or so they claim. As such I highly doubt that Scarlet Briar is going to become a puppet of any of the Elder Dragons.
“Secret’s deep below to find.” could mean that in addition to the surface of Tyria, the soon to be released updates are going to give us access to the Tyrian Underworld as well. Along with any secrets hidden down there, and new enemies, most of whom will be destroyers obviously.
“If only you’d seen what I’ve seen… you’d wake up screaming from The Dream.” obvious reference to Scarlet who has experienced I believe not one, but TWO instances of the Dream, the second one of which was far from pleasant for her all things told.
“Sometimes to change, you must destroy.” Well, yeah. Any good biologist or heck any scientist for that matter would tell you that. It’s a fact of life. Don’t see how it is relevant though.
“A Fire is Rising you cannot contain.” Primordus. Obviously Primordus.
“Tyria will burn, while I remain.” If this message is indeed from Scarlet Briar… unless she has found some method to make plant matter immune to immolation. I don’t see how this stanza works.
Also, I would like to point out…. that a metronome like that could have been commissioned by just about anyone. Just because those journalists claim that they got it from ArenaNet and NC Soft, doesn’t make it true, unless NC Soft and Arena Net confirms the fact.
There’s a TARDIS under Tyria.
God… and here I thought I was the only one who saw the resemblances between Scarlet and Mr. Saxon. I like you good sir, I like you a lot.
Though if the big reveal at the end of the Living Story Arch is that Scarlet is in actuality a Time Traveler… I will just quit the game right there. Because that much of a rip off of Doctor Who is in no way funny.

Oo
Still amazed how people can say an increase is not an increase because they decided so…Want to see people start shouting? Let PVP players use ascended. That would be lots of laughs for me.
wouldn’t it just be the ascended skins, and not the ascended stats that PvP players get?
And… strictly speaking World Vs. World is technically a type of Player vs. Player by most conventional definitions. So strictly speaking they already can use Ascended gear while participating in PvP, it just has to be of the World vs. World sort of PvP.

Scarlet is an attention-deficient, antisocial sadist whose entire franchise of influence is handed to her on golden platters of deus ex machina.
Oh… so she is a Time Lady? I didn’t know that either.
Really, if your going to talk about things being handed to people on golden platters of Deus Ex Machina, please at least get the people for whom it is actually done for correct. The only group of people for whom Deus Ex Machina is one of the five basic food groups are the people of Gallifrey.
EDIT: Well…. the people of Gallifrey and a certain walking fixed point in time known as Captain Jack “Face of Boe” Harkness I suppose….

No… Scarlet Briar isn’t the Joker… she is actually this girl
And apparently she is also Harlee Quinn… I didn’t know that….

When Scarlet says “Playtime’s over!” at the end, she sounds more menacing and serious than before.
This is Tara Strong your talking about. The woman who oozes Menacing and Serious like it were her skin. She did portray Raven from Teen Titans afterall. And that girl is about as Menacing and Serious as you can get… without actually being those two things.

She is trying to awaken something far more powerful than the Elder Dragons… She is trying to awaken… the… MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON DRAGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Charr will scream! Sylvari will eat meat! Humans will stop reproducing! Asurans will admit science is false! Norn will stop drinking alcohol!
god, so long as the Moon doesn’t turn into this in response to Scarlet, then everything is right with the world.

Oh bloody hell no. I have a Necro. And there is no way I would want this to come into effect. It would make it too difficult to get up from a downed state in PvE, which is where the downed state actually matters to people the most. You don’t even need it in PvP or WvW, the only reason it is there is as a convenience to the PvE’ers more than anything else. So why the bloody hell should they make the downed state more vulnerable to PvP’ers of both brands, only to make it all the more useless to PvE’ers?

let’s see.
A full ascended character meeting a full exotic will deal 5% more dps.
BUT
Will also have 5% more armor. On top of that they can use infusions to get 70 more attributes. The ascended defenders purposefully forget many stats in order to make it seem as if ascended armor is not an entirely new tier. The difference is substantial and can decide the winner in any balanced fight. The best part is that before ascended people were saying you could also play in Yellows…
You can see how the treadmill is moving….
fixed your post for grammar and spelling. God that was awful. And I am not normally a grammar kitten of any sort.
But yes, many of the things you mentioned is what distinguishes Ascended and Legendary gear as being a cut above Exotics, and definitely superior to Rares. There is no doubt that someone in fully decked out Ascended Gear who goes head to head against someone else who is decked out only in exotics, that the ascended player is going to win if everything else is equal.

I think ‘skill-based’ is a misnomer.
Every game is ‘skill-based’. They just require different skills.
eh… actually… when someone refers to a “skill-based game” they are referring to one of two different things.
A. They are referring to a game whose game play takes actual strategy and thought in how it is played. For example Magic the Gathering, Poker, or heck, even Chess (though at high levels of play I hear that Chess is more choreographed than it is actually about skill due to the limited number of moves available in that game).
B. They could also be referring to a game whose game play is largely determined by a system where in each mechanic is governed by a skill that over time can be increased in some way. For example, some of the more recent Final Fantasy games utilize this system. Their most recent MMO actually turns the crafting skills into actual classes (as in D&D Classes) that are more in depth than any crafting skill normally has any right to be.
Point is, the way most people play Guild Wars 2, it cannot really be considered either of the above.
How GW2 differentiates from it:
You press the button, Skill starts casting. If it’s not canceled/interrupted, skill goes off, and IF it actually hits the target, it deals damage. There is no hit/miss calculation, it’s based if you actually hit or not.
Melee skills works the same way. You press the button, skill goes off. If it hits the enemy area, it deals damage.
If there is no Hit or Miss chance or calculation in GW2, would you care to explain to me why I saw a Minotaur (NPC-enemy) completely fail to hit it’s target with a Charge Attack when it was standing right next to the target who happened to be an NPC herself, and thus could not have dodged? In fact I have seen NPC’s miss their targets on such attacks numerous times. If what you say is true, then there shouldn’t be any chance for them to miss their targets AT ALL unless the target is player controlled and able to dodge.

how is “joining a group, but then found that the group is not to your liking and then leave the group” considered an abuse ?
If I understand correctly, this isn’t what is happening.
What is happening is:
Player A starts a group advertisement
Player B Joins group
Player B cancels group advertisement
Player B quits group
Player A cries
Am I correct in this assessment?
