I think they get cremated. Probably either wrapped in a paper death shroud or in a hookah.
That just brought a whole new meaning… to smoking weed.
To answer your question, Sylvari would gradually decompose over a long period of time and form into compost that would then be reused as a fertilizer.

Only an engineer is able to fire CROTCH ROCKETS.
“You bookahs are no match for the power of the Dark Side!”
At times I wish this was in the game, but I do feel it would add discrimination in the game. That’s just me talking from past experiences in other games.
To counter that, I reckon that a checkbox should be added somewhere (perhaps on the Hero window) that would allow other players to see your gear as long as it’s enabled. Problem solved!
What do you call a vegetarian Sylvari?
Ironic.you mean a cannibal?
Not much difference, really.
Another joke. Now this one may seem horrible in nature, but…
What would make a human child, a norn kid or a asuran progeny cry, but wouldn’t bother a charr cub as much?
Hearing the words, “You’re adopted!”
And by the looks of it, it seems to be the cause of all those multi-posts, too. Oops. :/
I’ve had the same happen here, so it’s not just you.

You know what quote this game REALLY needs?
“I’m gonna rip your head off and skritt down your neck!”

Ironic.
There was that one time when I tried to reach a particular vista in Timberline Falls, which is the one near where you do the krait witch group event. I have no idea how I did it, but I’ve somehow managed to get the boss stuck in a certain place and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
So, alongside a few other people who eventually turned up to finish the job, I killed her and got the kitten vista…
Here’s a pic of my Charr Engineer, Rexx Geargrind. Both a centurion within the Iron Legion and Priory Magister, he studies with a passion so that he can take whatever knowledge he learnt from the Durmand Priory back to his warband, with the hopes of utilizing it in order to make the most creative weapon possible. Rexx is also “married” to his flamethrower, which he calls Bessie, and has a habit of smoking cigars.
I think he’s my favourite so far. XD

Yeah, I’ve had the same problem over here, too. Don’t know if the same thing would happen with the alternate mission, though.
It is a little known fact, but in the next update there will be a new title given to those who have managed to successfully kill Trahearne. It is called “Weed Killer”.
Those are some great drawings! I wonder if you can draw my Charr engineer, Rexx Geargind?
I’ve attatched a screenshot of him below. In the the final drawing, he should come complete with a flamethrower, an awesome pose AND a cigar. What do you say?
Based in Seafarer’s Rest (EU), Mechanized Death is a relatively new guild that wishes to recruit more members. We are initially a casual and friendly English-speaking guild but we will hopefully go into the more in-depth areas of the game such as PvP and WvW as we recruit more members. We are currently a very small guild, in fact there were only three members in the guild roster last time I’ve checked!
If you are interested in helping this guild become larger, you can check out the following website for more information: http://mechanizeddeath.guildlaunch.com/
Being among the first to represent the guild will give you the chance to become a Sergeant, which is equal to a lower admin rank in-game. Do well in your job, and that title may become permanent… or better!
I look forward to welcoming our newest members into the guild, but until then don’t hesitate to send me a message if you are interested!

Here’s a pic of Rexx Geargrind, my Level 80 Charr Engineer whose look could only be completed with a snazzy-looking cigar in his mouth.
