Great idea, thanks for doing this.
Now I’m thinking of starting one of my own with a twist, pick random player while running around the game.

Anyone else getting constant disconnect today? I’ve been getting kicked out repetitively all day. Then can’t log back in for 10-30 min afterwards. Even the forums have been acting up for me.
Don’t appears to have any issues with any other sites / games that I frequent.

I may be missing something but, with the new update and guild halls, Anet has done away with personal guild banks. Existing vault are grandfathered but new and upgrades now require Favor and Aetherium. Those can not be purchased like influence under the old system.
So now you’re stuck with buying bank tabs and bag expansions if you want to have extra storage. Another nail in Anet’s coffin for me. I’m getting more and more disillusioned
every day with the direction this company is taking.
And for those “give me your stuff” comment, I’m not quitting the game, I just won’t put any more money into it.

No keys from drops yet but that should really come as no surprise to anybody. I have had 4 total the 3 years I have been here before this change was made. So that explains that.

More than likely you completed these maps in the past and got the reward already. Anet have added extra Poi’s and Wps to some of the maps. What this did was made our 100% for them less than 100%. So we had to complete them again by getting these new Wps or Poi’s. They are right in not rewarding us again with the chest. You were not ripped off trust me.

Considering that I had never been to these maps on this character, I’d say I was ripped off.

So it has been 4 weeks since Anet changed the key and chest drop rate. If you have been keeping track, what are your results?
For myself, after clearing 8 maps ( different toons) and killing multiple foes and mobs, here’s what I got so far;
. Killing, no keys and 4 chests
. Map completion, one key. ( two maps did not even give me the reward chest)

For myself the increased rate is obviously not having any effect. If anything I’m getting less than before the update. ( and no I never farmed keys )

Once you’ve obtained the various parts, do you need to keep them in order to complete the armor or is having them unlocked in the collection sufficient?

Was looking to buy amulets and jewels however, it appears the this merchant was removed sometimes in Nov or Dec of last year.
Is this correct and does that mean that those items are no longer available?

I figured I’d give it a few weeks to try it out before I commented. Overall this change is OK. One peeve is the area specific event. As mentioned before a lot of times zergs finish the event even before you can get to it or, as it has happened to me quite a few times if you arrive at the tail end of it, manage a few hits/kills you don’t get acknowledgement of the event. My biggest peeve however is that with the old system I was getting the dailies done while leveling my alts. Now if I want to get them done I have to switch characters to get it done as my alts do not have all the zones. Having limited playtime, this update definitely affect my play style but, not being an avid AP collector well, I’ll stick to working on my alts.

I named my Brown Bear called " Yogi" and my Salamander Drake is " Spike"

Only sucks when you had two or three already completed and now all reset at zero.

Both my daughter and I are in the same boat. We linked our main account but our secondaries are still reserved. While I do appreciate that support is extremely busy, it would be nice to get an official update posted on the official sites,facebook,twitter, ect,
letting people know when they can expect those names to be released.
This would probably eliminate a lot of tickets creation and relieve frustrations from the players.
