I don’t really see the point of Unravel, weaving between elements and wanting certain main-hand and off-hand skills really isn’t that hard, going from two elements to one is really easy.
I feel like maybe the skill should instead instantly fresh the global cool-down on attunement swaps/weaving instead.

Haven’t had enough time to check so far, the new stat gear has same amount of stats as the old (non cele) or more?

Precision: 108
Vitality: 59
Ferocity: 59

Do you guys think its worth it going full marauders(power, precision, vitality, ferocity) instead of full zerks for the new content especially raids? Trading a bit of damage for some defence?

Superior Rune of the Tempest

Why do Superior Rune of the Tempest have condition duration? I thought the whole idea of the Tempest was suppose to be a front-line support, so shouldn’t the the runes also reflect that? Wouldn’t boon duration make more sense? Tempest doesn’t have anything to do with conditions so why would we need condition duration?

My biggest issue with the Tempest has to be the traits. I feel like all the traits should revolve around and augment everything new you get with the tempest. They should be a Major Adept, Master and Grandmaster traits for, Overloads, Shouts, and Warhorn skills.

Latent Stamina: This more looks like a water trait. This should probably be renamed and be a Warhorn trait.

Unstable Conduit: The aura should be applied at the beginning of the overload.

Speedy Conduit: This should give you 2-4s of super speed.

Tempestuous Aria: Should also reduce the cooldown of shouts.

Earthen Proxy: This is more looks like an earth trait. This should be renamed and add back the boon stripping taken out of Wild Fire.

Hardy Conduit: Should give you stability instead of harmonious conduit
Imbued Melodies: It should reduce the cast times on Warhon skills and add back the functionally lost from Heat Sync but instead spread it out to other Warhorn skills so now, Heat Sync can also share out Retaliation or Fury, Water Globe can share out Vigor, Cyclone can share out Quickness, and Dust Storm can share out Stability etc.

Elemental Bastion: This is more of a water trait and the current effect should be rolled into Powerful Aura and the trait should be renamed and replaced with a shout trait.

How about “Using rebound makes the next channelled skill or skill with a cast time instant cast applying all damage and effects instantly”

I think that Tornado should work like Ventari’s tablet and pull people instead of knocking them back and then after its duration then is knocks all people in its radius back.

Some of the traits feel lacklustre and some of them (Latent Stamina, Earthen Proxy and Element Bastion) feel like they should be part of other trait/spec lines i.e Latent Stamina, Element Bastion = Water, Earthen Proxy = Earth. Shouldn’t the Elite specialization traits revolver around the new stuff that you get with the spec?

Current Tempest overloads are really underwhelming I was under the impression that they where suppose to be high risk, high reward, currently its more like high risk, low reward. Granted haven’t played with the elite specialisation for that long. Anyone else feeling them same, or am I completely off base here?

Shouldn’t all Attunement Overloads have a break bar to provide some sort of protection from getting interrupted, maybe even have a shorter break bar(is that even possible) if the channel is only a few seconds.

Tempest F1-F4 skills

I’m leaning toward F-skill combos, with a second skill available in the slot once you’re in a given attunement. (e.g. Hit F1 while in fire to do blahblah.)

Yeah this is what I meant in the OP, the skills were just an example and not something I expect to be happen

Tempest F1-F4 skills

With the reveal that ArenaNet are changing how F1-F4 skills work if you spec into an Elite specialization. My theory with Elementalist/Tempest is that attunements are going to have additional effects when you press the button again kind of like when you use Glyph of Elementals and Glyph of Lesser Elementals . For example

-Fire: Create a violent blast at your location damaging and applying burning to foes

-Air: With a gust of wind knock back foes from you

-Water: Reduce the temperature near you chilling foes

-Earth: Churn the earth around you creating quick sand which cripples foes

Apart from adding fifth attunement, this to me seems the most likely of what ArenaNet will do. Feel free to disagree.
