Guild Wars 2

i recently had a e-mail verification problem and the only way to resolve it was to edit my preferences.In order to do that i needed my CD-Key (yes i had digital deluxe) i actually found it in my deleted folder and was able to recover it that way.
i have since wrote it down just in case it’s needed again.
for instance to prove its your account if you were hacked.

What? So if John Doe from GW1 never makes a GW2 account, John Doe will be reserved indefinitely? This is not what was promised via Arenanet’s blog post about freeing up names that have not been taken.

no , what he said was that Jhon Doe needs to make a character in GW2 with that name before AN releases those names for all GW2 players or lose the chance to use that reserved name.

so are you saying that if that person who is using a name in “Guild Wars 1” and is still playing using that name in “Guild Wars 1” that the name will never be free for “Guild Wars 2” use ? Even if that person never creates a character with that name in “Guild Wars 2”

Yes , Just got to pet management and select him as the top pet. He will then always be the pet you use after you are defeated.You can do this at the top of the pets picture when you mouse over it , just like utility skill selecting. It will bring up a list of pets that you have , just click on the one you want at the top.
