Hey Folks,
This patch will see a reworked loot system for dungeons. We realize our current system is lacking, and we have been working hard to correct that. I’m here to detail a bit about what is going to happen, and what you can expect

So what did we do?

We selected three specific sub-bosses throughout each dungeon chain and developed special drops for them that are influenced by your character’s Magic Find

We also gave those three sub-bosses a guaranteed item called a “Bag of Wondrous Goods” which will give the players a consumable Karma item worth 400 karma, and a consumable monetary item worth up to 4 silver. In explorable dungeons, the bag will also reward three tokens specific to the dungeon.
We realize some explorable chains don’t have as many bosses within them, so we made sure to account for this and updated as many event rewarded chests as needed to ensure balance between all the explorable paths.

We hope these fixes address the issues with dungeon rewards that we have been seeing. As always we will be watching and balancing as new situations arise, but we feel confident that the improvements we have made will make dungeon more rewarding. We’re always looking to expand and better the system though, and regard this in a step in the right direction.

About that little picture. Do you know how High is high on servers.
Let`s say High is 100, and your account have 5 slots, total is 20 unique people playing, not 100.

Hello, I have a problem with casting while moving/strafing.

When I select a skill (circle-aoe-ground targeting) and while strafing (holding right mouse button and moving keys ) with the left mouse I can not cast it.
I have to stop, release RMB, cast skill and then continue to strafing.

This is a picture extracted from gw2.dat file. Game was constructed to be played on consoles and among other things, that`s why we have FoV problems on a PC, but during development it got stopped I guess.

+1 to remove corpse scouting !

I will support this only in PvP environment.

I’m a little bothered by the change in targeting. Can you at least add a key option to break all targeting? I like to have auto-attack on, but sometimes I need to make it stop. I used to break targets by turning away from enemies and targeting closest, but that doesn’t work anymore.

Does it work when you click on the ground?

Hi, I have finished October survivor tier couple of days ago with my guardian.
Now, when I log in I got this:

The ones that give a medal are events, not hearts. Hearts do not, and never have (at least never in release or the last 2 BWEs) given medals at completion.

So I hope servers are indeed located in EU.

Same thing has happen to me today and so far only in WvWvW after about 10 min of gameplay. 1st time system restarted/hang, 2nd time I have close the game just in case it does not restart/hang my system again.
Fingers crossed for fix.

Monthly survivor isn’t working properly, unless you mean we aren’t suposed to log out and get 100k exp without leaving the map.

As for hero one, still at 0 for me.

I have completed couple of days ago my monthly survivor, so I do not have a problem with it. But for hero one, it does not “move”.

Thank you for the game and all those things ( UI, NPC conversations, exploring beautiful world, sound, music, inventory management, puzzles, character animations, crafting, cities, gathering, attention to details and so much more ) that make game epic.

is it bugged or when one of you character dies it stop progress on all other characters? (monthly “survivor” is working properly)

Please give us an option to tone it down. This is ridiculous.

That’s a fair question, and I’ve positively grilled people about that, to make sure that my encouraging folks to update their tickets will not move them back in the queue. I’m told by everyone that the update will not change the order in the queue, but that the extra information in the ticket can make it possible to resolve things in one wave, instead of having to go back, get more info, wait for the update, etc.

So you’re ok to update: It will not change the order in the queue and may help to speed things up.

Hi, first I want to congratulate you on amazing game, features and all those little things that make game unbelievable.

Now, I have an open ticket on my 2nd account from 8/22/2012, #120822-002717

Last time support has asked (8/30/2012) me to fill as much info as I can as I did the same day and 8 days has passed and I still did not receive any answer.

I know my problem is not a big one as hacked – login issues accounts, but I have “worked” very hard in GW1 and I would love to have my problem solved or just to get an answer that info that I provided is good or not and that you are working on it.
