I really like some of these changes, but there is something I would like to be, at least, considered in future “skill changes”. Its about engineers Turret skills and mostly its all about the trait that allows you to “throw” turrets.
I have been playing turret blast build (and its insanely strong with rifle, not even saying how extremely fun and rare to see this build is) and I would like to add to “constructive critique” myself. When you use ground-targeting turret skill, the turret skill after being deployed is very hard to time to use. Many times the actual skill you can use after your turret is deployed req. to wait for a full rotation of turret “auto” skill. Thats very… frustrating. Mainly during bigger fights when you are throwing multiple turrets around and need their actuall skill to be executed when you need it to make the skill impactful. Yes, this can be learnd – but it takes a lot of time and practice and even then you misfire turret skills a lot.
It could work differently. In example: when you deploy your turret, pressing its new “on ground” skill will force the turret to actually execute the skill. Yes, I understand that some turrets req. a target to be executed – those I say work all-right. But turrets like Healing Turret or perhaps Thumper Turret seems pointless to req. a target (or its auto-animation to run out…)
I believe that changing this would make turret builds a lot more fancy, adding another potential line for engis to play with. I play with it currently and its mindblowing combat experience.
Thats all, thanks.

TL;DR turrets skills you can activate while the turret is on the ground are now bound to either (pointless: Thumper) to enemy in range or finishing a full animation rotation (like Healing Turret). Changing this to be “force execute on skill use” would make turret builds a lot more fancy and balanced.

Asmotheya, guardian human with Greatsword and Hammer with Shelter for stand-and-deliver block of AoE, Save Yourselves, Stand your Ground and Hold the Line and Renewed Focus elite, in full zerg armor with Power/Precision/Crit dmg ascended jewelry. On about 12th try, previously trying with Scepter/Focus etc, didnt work for me at all.
Edit: no food involved (no point, vigor caps your endurance regeneration…)
I cannot beat her on my guardian I played 2750+ hours on. Do not have any twinks to test on. Makes me sad if my mini collection wont be complete anymore because of this.
GS+Hammer, full glass build. Once she shifts, have your GS ready (need some practice) to “collect” shades, pull them away from her, swap to hammer – use 5; dps. Repeat 2-3 times and its done. Also, I did it without Hammer 5 skill “secure”, which gave me a lot more dps having GS all the time. She is squishy and her prime is when people run around and kite. Which as a guardian, you can simply ignore. Shelter to block AoE with GS blind+aegis for second try, or simply use FR elite for another invulnerability.
Scepter builds running around are just disgrace.
I dont know, after meleeing her with my guardian, I had a blast :p
Best Necromancer NA, stop crying please. Its just not bearable anymore.
So much whine
I built my Flameseeker prophecies without buying a single component besides those req. from vendors. And I did not exploited, farmed Orr (actually, I did that for one day, then promised to myself never to go so dirty again, lol) perhaps 2-4 Onyx lodestones were given to me by some friends alltogether. I dont see whats so incredible difficult about them. Yes, precursor is pain to get, but just either buy it, or if feeling lucky use MF. The rest? Come on! You cant get all lodestones just running dungeons? Of course you can. I was running TA with PUGS on my guardian all three paths per day, perhaps sometimes I ran with my elementalist as well, but thats about it. Cores drop like mad. I agree that when I made the shield, Crystaline Dust was a way more easier to obtain, then before ecto salvaging – now its even more easier to get it. Ectos? I mean… come on. The only real problem was getting Karma before all of those dailies and other stuff if you would not farm Orr. Now Karma lies everywhere you move
I guess we are not worth even a single post from A-Net. That much for “embracing” the community. Simple: “Yes, we understand the situation and we are looking for solution.” or anything like that would DO. But then, we already payed, so they are not loosing that much, I guess.
Hi, I am experiencing solid lagging past two weeks. It started out of the blue, in some maps and dungeons. I have a solid (40 mbit) connection with no packet loss and I tried clean win7 instal with clean GW2 download. Still my laggs (mainly in Caledon Forest and close maps and in Ascalon Catacombs) are incredible. I stand “nearly disconnected” for more then 10-15s then I “retain” the connection (while I keep being logged in the game) and in few seconds, it happens again. Doesnt matter what are is my graphics settings. On the lowest with topped fps or with high with 40 fps. Doesnt matter if there is 80 people in the map near me or two friends.
I assume… this is not my problem, or am I missing something? Thanks for any sort of reply, Tech support.
I mean… all I really need is to be told this is either MY problem, or YOURS, becouse nothing else that has anything remotely to do with my internet connection doesnt show any kind of problem – nothing.

Sure thing there is a need to do something about it. But watch out. Becouse one day “boss that stops doing anything and just stands there and you have no kittening idea whats going on and you just keep on beating him becouse otherwise waiting 45 minutes and nothing happens seems not reasonable” is a major bug. Becouse it gave you an advantage of the fight!
Plus you talk about AC stairs exploit? Why, in the first place, those stairs are there? And plus, it only makes the fight harder and longer, becouse, I believe that not many players have decent 1200-range weapons in those pugs. I just beat its brains out and thats it. Nice and melee.
Dont know about Arah exploits, but lets talk about Stealth Kit that is available in Heart vendor – why such a thing exists if skipping mobs or running past dungeon USING LEGIT ITEMS AND SKILLS (like SR or any other invisibility) EXIST? Clearly, there is by far no IDEA what is legit and whats not. And unless thats clear, nothing can be fixed.
(of course bugs like you state above in Arah are logicly an exploit)
Just run Fractals. Any difficulty level. In Dredge fractal, you drop Miners Bags, which have a really good drop chance of Destroyer Core and sometimes even Destroyer Lodestone and in chest you can find these same and also Molten Core/Lodestone. In Kraken (even number special boss), Jade monsters drops Onyx Cores and Lodestones like crazy. Just tell you party not to run, but to kill and you will see. The finale even bonus chest has a great chance of dropping any core and any lodestone even together. I saw a chests few times with Charged Lodestone and two Onyx Cores. The drop rate of any Lodestone in Fractals is far more greater then in respective dungeons with exception of Molten Core/Lodestone in CoF. And its fun
