I disagree with most what you wrote, but i think you have one valid point:

There should have been some really dangerous creatures in core-Tyrias open world with possibility to finish players with one hit.

There is no sense in huge monsters like, for example, Ettins too weak to beat you.

If they would able one-hitting everybody, this would force all players, learning some tactics to avoid these hits.

What we really need, is a Dragon for riding, so we can burn down every structure, building, boil the sea and tear mountains apart with a single breath.

I didn’t buy HOT, because i stay strictly away from toxic environments – real life is toxic enough.

So i wouldn’t play it for free either.

But many of them aren’t in HoT anymore. they are snowing in core Tyria, running around in a kind of Godmode, oneshottimg nearly everything, making leveling newbies a hard time and do jumping-puzzles with that lame gliding.
