I know that feeling when you start playing the Game with a group of friends and “suddenly” you’re the only guy still playing, it really sucks.

Maybe the peeps at Great Architect could become your new friends and I promise, we will stay with you! =P

Great Architect recruits 18+ and makes it very clear that we do not like people who act childish/stupid/etc, so I think we are a very mature bunch, kinda crazy sometimes though!

As long as you are above 18, we don’t really care for age (personaly, I find players in your age range very interesting) and we even got older guys than you, so that should pose no problem!

We have some dudes who enjoy grinding the hell out of WvW, so you should not feel left alone in that aspect, but we also do PvE stuff since we are a PvX Guild.

Most of us a casual players since you can’t really afford playing a game without money behind it, so that’s no issue at all and since we recruit from different timezones (German guy speaking here, hur!), you should always find someone online.

We are on Stormbluff Isles, so you would have to transfer, but we also allow guesting if you want to check us out first!

Telling people what server you are on, makes it easier for people who really want to recruit someone to find potential members on their server and it also should make it easier to tell the spam recruit bots apart from people who actually read your post

In my opinion the main topic of this thread is still a large issue, so why has noone posted here since 4 months?

The main reason is that Anet cant change current content(Voice and Dialoges), they can only think about improving when adding new content and so far we didnt get any expansion to personal story.

In general in mmo business you can only hope that you did your best from the start cus you wont have enoug money and time to fix really big issues(VA for the whole story part of the game) after you released the product on the market

That I understand, but I really would like to know if ANet has learned the importance of VA for their Success and what they plan to do better in future content.

I did see some interest in the whole aspect, with ANet asking questions, but they never said anything nearly concrete about what they plan do to improve VA for future content.

I actually enjoy this game TONS more when I’m not on the forums. When I read the forums, people bring up things that make me frown.

Lol, I come to the forums to vent about broken (or stupid) things that I’m pretty sure Anet is never going to bother fixing – then it’s a few deep breaths, and onto the next thing.

I know that the forums are a microcosm, made up (generally speaking) of people who; are extremely hardcore into the min-max mindset; people who have consistent issues with bugs; people who have questions not covered by the wiki; trolls.

Also remember, people genuinely enjoying the game aren’t on the forums – at least not regularly. They’re playing instead of talking about the “optimal” armor, or how to shave .00045 seconds of their total dungeon times.

That’s a pretty questionable summary of the forums…

I’m neither of the above, I enjoy GW2 and I still regularly visit the forums. I enjoy reading topics about the game I enjoy just as much as the game itself. I hardly ever post something, though.

Wasn’t the whole point of these temporary (REOCCURING) events that they can now focus on permanent & bigger stuff in the second year of GW2?

While I am grateful for your offer, the time difference between NA and EU makes it hard to consider a Guild on a non EU server.

Dear Guilds of Guild Wars 2,

first off let me express my gratitude for even reading my topic and showing interest in me =P

Now onto the matter at hand though;

I’m a complete Newcomer to GW2 who bought the Game just yesterday. (Thought about buying it at launch, but still wasn’t sure enough yet back then and forgot about it, oh the shame~)

A bit more about me: My nickname is Shin or Astu, I’m currently 23 years old and from Germany (GMT +1). I have played MMO’s like Ragnarok Online, LineAge 2, Cabal and World of Warcraft before, but now I’m looking for something different. I value coordinated teamplay very much and enjoy being crazy (in a good way ;P).

As someone who joíned so recently, I do not yet fully know which aspect of the Game I will ultimately strife for, but I am very interested in WvW from what I could read so far.

Thus I’m looking for a mature EU located Guild that is friendly to even total newbs as well as active enough to keep a blabbermouth like me entertained. In terms of Voice Communication I prefer Mumble/TeamSpeak/RaidCall, as I experienced major trouble with Ventrillo in the past. (and that programm annoys the hell out of me anyway.)

In return, you will get a very active Member that shows great interest in the Game, it’s teamplay components and someone that is willing to help out in many ways.

On the matter of activity, I do have have to mention that my current RL “settings” are making things rather difficult to plan stuff ahead, so there could be times when I can’t come online for a few days or so, but I in such a case I will inform someone of course.
