Hello fair developers! I have discovered what I believe to be two bugs:
The patch notes from Aug 8th, 2017 say that the Revenant mace skill Echoing Eruption now tracks a target if you have one. It does not. Every time I use it my Revenant leaps forward in the direction I’m moving instead of towards my target.
Additionally, the gliding skill in WvW is bugged and you have access to the final tier ability without unlocking it. I have every tier unlocked except for the last one but I still have infinite gliding power except for when I lean forward (what the final tier is supposed to unlock)

So I haven’t had the same issues in the Dwayna section the past two days and after speaking with my guildmates about it I am convinced that the problem was the consistent lag in the zone. Right now I can fly in the area without being constantly pushed sideways and I have much better control of the artifact boost ability.

This section of the zone is not fun in any measure and is easily the most frustrating content in the game that I’ve encountered in 3+ years of playing. The combination of an air current forcing you in one direction, disappearing updrafts, and uninterruptible artifact abilities (so you overshoot your target spot) are not challenging in a rewarding sense, just an aggravating one.
All of this makes getting around in general or reaching the spider at the top incredibly frustrating and a bit disheartening.
I’m not suggesting all of the challenge of this area be removed but if you would at least make the artifact moves interruptible it will go a long way towards making this area playable. Thank you.
You’ve probably already thought of this but you might want to consider changing your posts title. Some people reading through the forums may not have reached that part of the story yet and its definitely a spoiler.
I hate that I cant convey tone across text very well so I hope this comes across as the legitimate question it is: is Marjory and Kasmeer’s relationship supposed to be a healthy one or a dysfunctional one? Because I get the impression its intended to be a healthy, loving relationship but honestly its far from it. Any marriage or dating relationship that handles arguments the way these two do ends with separation.
Kasmeer is correct to call out the selfishness of Marjory’s decisionmaking and Marjory responds by offering excuses instead of giving any indication that she was listening to, or even cared about, how her decisions impacted her other half. Marjory is a consistently selfish character and relationship studies show over, and over, and over that if a person responds like Marjory does to arguments then the relationship ends because eventually the other person gets sick of being an emotional battery instead of an equal in the relationship.
I’m not trying to bash the writing or the characters. Relationships are messy and people are imperfect. But the consistency of their quarrels and how they finish them leaves little room for any other conclusion. If this is going to be the only romantically comitted relationship in the game I ask that you please make it a healthy one.. Or if you read this and thought “what is he talking about? Their relationship is fine.” then I ask you to read some books on healthy relationships or ask a couple thats been married for over 30 years how they handle disagreements because this isnt it.
I noticed today while playing in the HoT zones that I was not always (or even mostly) receiving a clone for shattering two other illusions. I’m not sure what would cause this but i did make sure i always had at least 2 illusions when shattering and I failed to received the new clone over 50% of the time.
Additionally, deceptive evasion does not always create a clone when i dodge in combat.
Has anyone else had similar issues?

I’m actually trying to find a player that I believe is in your guild. He was a mesmer from borlis pass rated as a silver raider wearing the balthazzar outfit and using staff/scepter+torch. I was hoping to track him down because he used a build very similar to my own but completely obliterated me and I was hoping he’d give me some pointers.
Any chance you’d try connecting us or passing this along and seeing if he’d take a minute to give me some pointers? I’d really appreciate it.

I experience this issue as well and it began for me after the June 23rd update. I have noticed it occurs during many different types of gameplay.
I have also been experiencing this. It began after the recent large update. The one that implemented the condition damage changes and what not. I’ve seen my average ping get as high as 2500.
Thank you Arenanet for listening. And also for covering such a large frame of time to help those who bought the base game under a mistaken premise. Knowing you listen and respond means a whole lot more than being perfect.

So I figured out the problem. It was not a bug. It was my miniature ho-ho tron and his bell. Silly me.
If anyone else has a mystery bell they can’t get rid of though, your robot is probably the culprit.

Hello,
Ever since the patch on 1/27/15 I hear what sounds like a bell chime whenever my character is not moving. It starts shortly after my character stands still and ends almost immediately after he begins running. The sound is disabled when I turn my “Effects Volume” to 0. I’m not sure if that helps.
Is anyone else having this issue? The constant “ching, ching, ching, ching” is really aggravating. Help would be appreciated.
