Just…lol. My hdd crashed few days ago, I got new one, time to downlaod GW2 back…and wtf ? My download speed is like…none. Please fix this Anet

Hey there ! I would be really thankful if you could answert some or all of my question as I’m getting a bit bored by playing and farming for legendary on my main (Warrior, over 1,6k hours played) and I would want to focus on other heavy armor class. For now I’m a bit over 300 hours on Guardian so it’s not much but what I did so far was sticking to obal’s build more or less precisely but now as I’m willing to dive more into this class I need to know few things.

1. Do you think there’s a nerf coming for Guards ? I get the feeling that now Guards are well…little op or really at the verge of op but maybe it’s just my feeling as I can here many ppl saying what Guardian can’t do…

2. This may be silly guestion but oh well. My Warr is 30/0/20/20/0 and I feel good playing with that traits, so going on Guardian for the same traits is really dumb ? I know there will be huge difference but I really feel more comfortable and confident in those traits…or the only way to go for someone who wants PVT stats is 0/0/30/30/10 build ?

3. Knowing that I want go PVT stats – is it better to just not touch Guardian at all ? In times like these where you zerk everything you see…sigh.

4. Considering the traits 30/0/20/20/0 is reasonable way to go for Spirit Weapons ?

yea, but it doesn’t count towards META so I’m now 8\10 with 9 finished events…like many other people I guess. And we’ll stay stuck here for God only knows for how long…

I’m starting to hate this “love/hate” relationship that I have ywith GW and ArenaNet (more with Anet). You guys are really breaking my heart.

1. Backpack – scrw it I don’t even open my inventory that much.
2. Bugs with LA events – this is starting to kitten me off really badly. I finished twice each of the events (Lawson’s Marriner and All Bets Are Off) and I’m still at 14/15 stucked like a kitten cause the event didn’t count. Not cool.
3. Wurm achievement – this…this Anet is something that makes me wanna cry….I finished Wurm event twice as a whole event in the terms of slaying all 3 heads. Not to count how many heads itself I killed (around 10-15 I think)… and I’m STILL ! 0/3 in Wurmslayer. Now you are adding another achievement which is not counted towards meta, plus you’re changing Demolitionist, so that I’m no longer able to obtain already bugged achievements…seriously WTF ?

Not to metion that you guys delayed patch about 5 or 6 hours, still to get into bugged game. If you managed to fix bigger bugs, and those are “minor” ones I don’t really wanna now how incompetent and not ready were you about this patch…really…and what hurts the most it’s probably the fact that we won’t hear about those fixes in the mear future, so I can say goodbye to Wurm for even longer time and keep grinding my kitten off in LA…eh.

Same thing. Successful attempt at Wurm, I was on Amber and nothing. 0/3. This will haunt me now…

EDIT: So if it turns out that you don’t have to fully success (kill all heads) with the event, just kill the head, then I’m 0/3 after at least 3 decapitations of Amber Wurm…

Yes please, any info would do. It’s just my preperation in case of my “luck” when every event is at leaset week, or few days long, but just as I leave my home for a longer period than a day, then every event lasts right about few hours or one day max.

Hey, I just wanted to ask someone who will know better than me, how many days will this event be achieveable ? I won’t be able to do this until 20th or something, do I hope it’s not one or two days only event. Any one knows ?

Hi folks, I’m here to complain again, lol. Nah, not really I just want to share with you some of my expiriences from the first day of that new, stinky “event”. The only good thing in all of this is that I don;t really like new weapons/wings/etc. etc. skins. But there’s something else that bothers me. We have let’s say around 5 of my guildies, and about two random guys. We are running, slicing the holograms, having “fun” and now what happenes. Another of my guildie logs in, plays around…15 minutes and he has everything, but the shattered wings… really. He got helmets just for logging in, whole wings for hyena in plains of ashford, and ticket from like 10 opened common coffers. Nevermind that. Still playing, getting more and more coffers, suddenly one of my guildies gets 5 minis in like 7 minutes….guys, really ? It’s like 20g… nevermind that. One of my friend left the party, and went on another map. He joined two other random guys, ran with them for about 20 minutes and said that one of that guys dropped 2 pairs of dragon wings in… 2 minutes…. REALLLY ? over 140g ? kitten ! What I got from the first day of Dragon trash ? Around 200 coffers. Inside ? The only yellow thing that dropped was Hard Potion. Beside that no minis, or wings from drop. It’s so random I just can;t believe it. Sure, I know DB will stay until 9th July but it will get nerfed and nerfed down even more, as always, and as always I will stay with kitten in my hand while everyone around is getting richer just like that. Kinda sakittenhe only one that unlucky ?

that’s what happens when people go off wandering on forums, posting guides or information about farming things that are RNG…no one responses to the threads about that RNG stuff, but when the crates are farmed then BAM ! out of nowhere nerfed drop rate, like it wasn’t already low. If nothing changes on that 28th of May, I’m through with GW. Like anyone cares. Shame on you Anet.

Same can go to “Slayer” where you kill 1,000 of mobs…Anet could push it to 2 or 5k mobs and puts "Slayer"titles…

You’re right, lottery tickets have nothing whatsoever to do with randomly generated numbers. Or with people spending lots of money trying to win a prize.

They do, I just pointed, that not exactly in the same way as here. What if some lucky kitten who even doesn’t like new skins gets crate from the 10th mob, and bam, there’s ticket ? At least undo it account bound… ot make lottery tickets in GW2 which you can buy on TP and leave weapons skins obtainable in easier way…

Hell, it don’t have to be ecen Legendary, it can be “only” precursor weapon, so that it would take even longer to then change it into Legendary. But the idea behind it, getting each in different way sounds awesome, hope this topic won’t drown in the pool of suggestions.

First of all, don’t bother, no one from the top will answer… sad but true. Second thing, what you wrote, in greater part still functions as RNG which will never be good.

I say put all the new skins on Gem store, or at least in achievements, like the back piece. One token, maximum two just so people with mains and offhands can get what they want.

If people hates so much when everyone has that same item, then make it harder to obtain, but by crafting maybe, not by a stupid luck ? Something like Legendary.

Just when we saw really cool skins, after F&F on the Gem store (Braham/Rox) Anet throws another skins to the boxes and puts 0,0xxx % chanes to obtain them. Lovely.

At last, if you want to make money and dont lost on that event PUT THEM ON GEM STORE FOR 5000000 GEMS AND I’LL TAKE IT ANYWAY ; O darn you Anet : (

Still no response from dev’s, eh ? Is it really this hard to at loeast write “this is our model, gtfo” like someone else mentioned ? Insted we get responses in some silly topics, oh how my life was less stressful when I wasn’t roaming that forum. Now I just hopes when it comes to armor’s and possible release with some patch, they’ll make it RNG too so that more ppl would hate that system and maybe then something or someone will snap…

P.S. 6 hours of free day yesterday, spent on farming with 350% MF and approx. 50 veteran karka’s killed….nothing : )

That’s the point, 600 is too cheap, to balance that random dropping crates, I am willing to pay even 2000 for a guaranteed skin.

Anet tried doing direct purchase skins for wintersday. People no longer wanted them because they weren’t “rare” since anyone could buy them. Therefore very few people bought them. Anet did not make a lot of money. Anet puts a 0.1% chance of getting an item in a box. The item is “rare” now and most people won’t get it so everyone and their mother spent $30+ on these boxes for a chance at the “rare” item.

Whatever your personal opinion on the matter is, it doesn’t matter because Anet gave the players a choice and the vast majority chose RNG boxes.

I’m always civil. I stay on topic. But any response would be nice, better be denied than ignored…I stand still with my proposition, I don’t think one big, and many small topics will suffice to get notice by ArenaNet. I would really understand if there were no other way to solve RNG problem, but there is…and so many. In the spirit win-win ofcourse. Meh. There’s nothing else I/we could do, but wait….

This can be not enough…I dontt see any dev’s activity in that area of forum….instead there’s a topic about what can we do in SsC -.- I say we make a petition, then make a thread on forums, get some sings or whatever then send it directly to Anet mial, or spam it, whatever.

And people will buy that boxes, since there’s no other way to obtain items they like…first you are motivated, then there’s just frustration until you’re broke and you curse…it’s like an addiction…nothing good.

And that’s another thing that I miss in GW2 – Hard mode. All the dungeons are easily doable with few good men, all the achievements are doable and only few are harder to obtain. As I said before, balance is the key…If 6 hours to complete tab of achievements is too fast, and a month to complete tab is too long then try to make it two weeks, or at least week. When I entered game yesterday, all mu guildies already had it done, or they were at the end, and I was forced to run around SS alone, cause they went back to do usual daily stuff -.-

I don’t play 6 hours daily, gah, I don’t even play 3 or 4 hours, so for me it will take a while to get 25/25 but if it’s obtainable in few hours of gameplay…and then morons would complain that they have nothing to do…balance is key to most of the cases, I think Anet still needs to figure that out somehow.

Pardon me while I lay off here all my frustration, but this event introduction made me realize that this isn’t the right directon for GW2 or maybe just for me…and I totally know that no one will weep for me if I choose to leave GW2 cause there’s millions more to keep playing, but I am really dissapiont Anet…

1. I don’t really know what hour did Southsun event started but I know that I logged into game maybe around 3-4 hours after it started, and I heard that my guild mates are at the end of 25/25 achievements to get exotic backpiecie…not only that. Some of them were nearly done with all achievements implemented 4 hours ago ! WTF ARENA NET ? Seriously I can’t understand logic behind that…why making it multimonth event when I can make it in one day ?

2. That RNG canse… I know it was mentioned millions of millions times but guys… as Fused weapons were at any case obtainable that supplu box kitten is impossible. Of course it’s only my problem, cause I really like the GS weapon and I believe not only me, so why there can’t be any way to obtain this in normal, not gamble way ? Why Anet makes us buy some kittenty shorts, but not weapons skins ? Why couldn’t they made a system like in SAB ? On Southsun you drop bubble-liked tokens, that you exchange for a skin which you cannot sell ? OR like Braham and Rox sets ? It’s really exhausting to cling on a 5% chance to get an item that I really like…if there are two achievements chests, then why not make one of them a token chest, instead 2 back piece items…

This all, after more decent Flame and Frost event, makes me want to really leave GW2, but I’ll just wait ot see what’s in store for us on 28th and then I will decide.
I’m not saying that we should boycott GW2 or that event, but I know I’m right about this, shame that Anet ingore that voices of people.

Oh well, don’t mind me, I;m just gonna go back to recovering some of that lost money after buying that stupid boxes. I’ll never learn, will I ?

man, how am i suppoused to take over Keep with 10 people, right in front of VS respawn without getting notice like “hi, we’re just taking Vista”. They would waltz through us right away. This is kinda awkward but I’m starting to be more and more annoyed by this. I’m a quiet player, I simply enjoy the game and all aspects that it provides. But there’s one thing I can’t stand. It happenes second time. When it comes to completing World progress I’m stuck at WvW and this is a moment when I want ot just smack the kitten out of everything…First time I had to change servers because of this, but now changing of worlds is charged by gems…

I’m stuck with stupid one Vista and one PoI and since it’s been more than 3 weeks in the same “3” I am hopeless…tell me, is there any chance, any way possible to write some message to support, hoping that they can help me somehow ? Am I suppoused to wait God only knows how long (at least week…) for a change, but then again French people will take it all in less than hour after reset when it;s impossible to enter WvW ? I just need to complete world, that’s all : ( Help meeeeeee…
