kitten , some of the replies on here are awesome, especially liking the ‘Deep Sea’ / ‘Ocean’ idea from Swede, and I would put money on anet making a legendary weapon with a very similar theme, even if it wasn’t a sword, because I can think of quite a few weapons that fit with this idea.
I would also like to see a blue flame weapon, maybe a sword, with some cool ‘Spiritual’ blue fire effects/trials.
Not sure about the Rival, but I can definitely recommend the Logitech G600. Used it for most the time I’ve been playing this game and never had any troubles with it once I got used to it.
First off, does anyone know when the next legendary will be released or how often they are released? I know they stopped producing them for a while after making the shortbow so that they could focus on Living Story, but since they released Eureka I’m guessing they started doing them again? Idk.
Anyway, to get to the main point of this thread, I’m curious; what do you guys wanna see in the rest of the second legendary line? What do you think of the current ones?
So far I think they’re awesome, but for me I definitely wanna see a much better Scepter and Sword, as I find Bolt and Meteorlogicus are pretty ‘meh’ personally, maybe I just don’t like the storm theme. Also, I know all the legendaries are meant to be unique, but I think a Sword would look awesome in the same style as Astralaria ( which I love, by the way, and I also can’t stop pronouncing in an Australian accent, lol ). For a Scepter, not sure what might look cool yet, but I’m sure anet will carry on coming up with awesome ideas for the HoT legends.
My idea for this class is for it to be space themed. I was mainly inspired by all the space effects in the game like the blade for Twilight and also Legendary Stavemaster Adryn s black hole ability thing.
It would probably be another light armour class that is a bit like Mesmer in the way that it uses a lot of CC and damage, however might not be so good at party supporting.
Here is a rough outline for the unique mechanic:
Unique Mechanic: You constantly have stars orbiting around you at a steady pace. (Similiar to Vengefull Hammers but probably slightly smaller radius)
F1 – Give energy to your stars, causing them to burn enemies they pass through.
F2 – Draw energy from your stars, causing them to slow down and chill enemies they pass through.
F3 – Stars now bless allies they go through, healing them for a small amount and giving them regeneration.
F4 – Your stars become unstable, giving one random boon to allies they pass through.
Some of these are probably more extreme and more like Elite Skills, but they’re still rough outlines:
- Open a worm hole at the target location, creating a portal on the ground and another above it in the sky. Enemies who walk into it are teleported above them, getting dazed and crippled when they land.
- Send a slow moving star in the target direction, damaging enemies as it moves. Reactivating this ability explodes the star, pulling enemies within x radius to it’s location.
- Create a wormhole at a target location. Any skills you use while the portal is active is duplicated at the wormhole but with slightly less damage.
So yeah I wanna create a power build but not sure which stats/runes are the best.
Most I’ve heard about is Valkyrie or Berserker with Scholar Runes but not sure which is best…
Also is Axe now better than Dagger to use alongside Greatsword?
Note: I’ll be playing mostly pve and pvp.
How does Power and Condition Necromancer compare at the moment? Kind of new to
Necro.
The general consensus I’m getting from other threads is that Condi is better, but wanted a few more opinions on how enjoyable each is and what their damage is like.
And yes, I do have access to Reaper/greatsword.
Thanks
EDIT: My bad forgot to mention that I only really play PvP and PvE(that includes fractals etc AND open-world)

So earlier today I was thinking and thought of the idea of having a personal collection kinda thing.
They would work very similiar to normal collections, where you collect items and get a reward at the end, and can track your progress by easily seeing which ones you already have etc etc
But personal collections would be where you start a collection just for you , and you can select which items you need and how many of each etc. For example say you were working towards crafting a staff you wanted, you could make a personal collection of the items you needed and easily keep up to date which how far you are towards making it.
Although, you wouldn’t necessarily get something once you completed it, you’d just be aware that you had the required materials.
Idk, it’s a very rough idea but could be useful, you guys might be able to advance it further.
That’s all from me, thanks for reading~
So I was wondering if there was a better and up-to-date way of converting karma to gold?
I’m kinda desperate for gold right now and have 300k karma on both my accounts.
How do people convert their karma to gold, and which is the most efficient way at the moment?
Thanks in advance for any replies~
I don’t know if anyone still reads this but I don’t lose anything from trying so hear goes; I would love either the bloodstone mace or bloodstone axe skin! Think they look awesome and I lack skins for those perticular weapons
Thanks (I’m EU)
Also, I’ll be looking out at this thread to see if i get anything from a black lion chest someone needs
So for quite a while now I’ve been wanting to make a condi class but have never got around to doing it, but now that I have I really don’t know what to play.
Basically I’m just wanting an overall good and, most importantly, fun condition class to play in PvE and PvP.
Revenant seemed appealing to me but I feel like the enjoyment I would get from playing it would come at a cost and I’d probably be looked down upon in higher tier fractals/raids because it’s weak.
If someone could maybe summarise a few of the classes in terms of how good they are at running condi that would be cool.
Thanks in advance.
Hey,
I’m an old player returning to the game and recently made a mesmer.
I never really played mesmer and was wondering which build path to go down.
I really like the idea of doing a condition damage build that slowly shred enemies while avoiding agro with clones/invisibility, and can imagine myself having a lot of fun with a condition damage build.
HOWEVER, I’ve seen a few sources that say condition damage mesmer isn’t worth it.
Basically what I want to know is: is a condition damage mesmer build fine for PvE? or is it horrendously weak and unplayable?
If there are any condi builds what are the best utility skills and armour stats to go for?
If there aren’t I’ll probably just down the normal berserk/assassin route.
Thanks for your help.
