You may want to go on a little Desolation history lesson, more has happened than the problems in IRON this week, word to the wise always do a poke about on servers and find out what’s happening on them, that way when you decide to glory hunt on a T1 server that is having issues, means you wont be disappointed and QQ all over the shop.

You also mention about us not being in T1 for long, tbh after what we have witnessed over the last few weeks I dont think many of us want to be

This is the worse time to take a break for a week, IRON dudes. I been on the server for 2 days, and i am already bored. Noone to fight with most of the time.
Don’t think i’ll stay on the server longer then Thursday, when my transfer is off the cooldown. This is like beeing back on Gunnar’s Hold.
Think i’ll go back to Piken, it’s like the last active ENG server that i know of.

Although i tend to agree with you most of the time Archaos i have to disagree with the plan to push more US players here, the numbers in our BL’s are pushing crazy levels, 1-2 hour waits are not acceptable, this has become more and more since we went T1 now every guild and their cat wants to transfer here.

I respect RUIN and the job you do but flooding the server isnt a good plan imo.

Great show of solidarity from Deso working as a 24/7 powerhouse, still got a long way to go regarding communication but every week that goes by we seem to grow in strength as people learn how to work together.

Its going to be close this week, although its been full of drama its also been a great showing of solidarity from Deso. Like you have suggested ive already brought this up a few times, a Deso community forum would be well worth it imo, a great way fro our guilds and server to communicate to each other and easier to moderate than here (I would love to do one but i wouldnt have the time to moderate because of RL commitments)

Would love to get a community page up and running, i wouldnt mind getting one made but its the fact of moderating i wouldnt have time for surely someone off the server would

In a few weeks you’ll find a tier that suits your servers level, then it will be good times all around then no? All the QQing is embarrassing. If your getting beat do it with dignity instead of coming on a forum and rattling out excuse after excuse. Try saying WP to the other team for not only out manning you but out playing you also, or has the days of congratulating other players/servers gone?

Okey, so i’ve been reading this post for a bit. Seems like a lot of players don’t like us (Desolation) because we have the benefit of an American guild. Because we have a night team, we get to win the matches pretty easily, working our way up the charts. But really, what’s the big deal? The point of a ranking system is that you fight servers that matches your strength. In a week or 2 you will be matched up against servers without a night team and things will be fun again. No more maps of one color.

Same goes for me, personally. I just want to have good fights in wvw, don’t care if it’s Tier 1 or Tier 6. Guess we are working our way up to the top now where we will face other servers with night teams so things will become more interesting for us as well. (i hate it when map is all blue and i have nothing to do )

For those who think it’s unfair: That might be, but would you also think it’s unfair if this happened on your own server? Would you talk to the american guild leader and tell them to go get lost? I can hardly imagine such things to happen.

I hope you guys are also finding an awesome guild that wants to join your nightcrew and maybe we will meet again in the future on even grounds

Couldnt agree more its like people complaining that Manchester United are buying non-English players to with the English Premier League. There is only one way to get to a high level of game play or in this case a decent challenge, and that is to use every tool available to you QQing on a forum about the bad Americans or the naughty French-Canadian guilds is not going to get you anywhere, its like i’ve said before evolve or sink its pretty simple. But then again with the green eyed monster is easier to blame someone else on other servers than look at what’s going wrong in your own.

Many many tiny tears here about this that and everything, my view on this weeks Wv3:
Kodash – Very weak Wv3 server god knows how they have been T2 for so long. Zerg mentality wont win wars. Any time it comes to a 1v1 with one of you guys I win (i play engi btw LOL) Very unskilled zerg mentality players. Have yet to see skilled players from your server.
Far Shiver – Where have you been? Your Wv3 numbers have been poor all week, not once have had a decent battle with any guilds or players from the server.

Before you say ‘whine whine whine blah blah’ about 24/7 coverage get with the programme, its going to happen, it is happening, you either evolve or fade away. Was really looking forward to the battles this week but been such a let down. Lets hope next week is much much better.

I would rather see A-net put the guild back into guild wars, were a small guild we have 15-20 players , just saved up enough for the commander title just so we can be in the same group on the battlefield. Were not bothered about the fact we had to save the 100g but we are about the fact we have to field a commander and show the blue zerg magnet to form a party of guild mates. Surely guilds should have the option to group with each other in Wv3 without this, hell the name of the game is Guild Wars! not 5 Man Party Wars.

A few spots open (would love a defensive guardian), TS essential (if your shy and don’t want to talk no need for a mic as long as you can hear us) and common sense and awareness of what’s happening around you would be a major advantage

Welcome to the new guys that server transferred had awesome banter with you on ts today, looking forward for more of the same.

Still looking for a couple more new faces then were at full force.

A 15 man squad is big enough to harass Zergs, take towers, take supplies, kill sentry’s and kill dollys all in all use your squad to disrupt the lines. This is exactly what our guild does with great success. Guerilla tactics is what you need to do, move as quietly as possible (dont hit sentry’s or dollys until you’ve hit the tower/camp as this tells the enemy where you are on the map) hit the camps fast then move or hold but always have an exit strategy. The job of small groups like ours is simply bug the life out of the enemy Zerg, the longer they are pre occupied with you the more time your Zerg has to reposition and take more towers/keeps.

Communication is vital i suggest you get a TS server and cram everyone in have some fun on the way

I just have to say having joined Judge about a year and a half ago for SW:TOR ive never been in a guild that is so tight, your welcomed in with open arms. You’ll somehow be given a nickname on ts within days of you joining this seems to be your right of passage

Like Parthis said we are a small group but we do make a difference (im pretty sure the Zerg/larger guilds feel when we are on the field) Although we take Wv3 serious the amount of giggles we get on TS is out of this world the banter only stops for direction, the best thing I love about Judge is the fact even though we have one person lead the groups, everyone has a voice if you have a plan no matter how insane it is it will be considered and most likely executed once thought out This also carries on to guild life too you have a problem or idea on helping the guild your always listened too.

All in all I personally love the guild but I would love to see you join the guild that little bit more :P

Simple solution to people complaining about ‘night capers’ log onto an American server or make a recruitment post for a guild to join your server (or vice versa, I hear that US guilds are also looking for EU guilds to do the same on their servers) and hey presto things magically even out. Get used to the ‘night capers’ as you call them because WvWvW is 24/7 nothings going to stop it, Anet have already stated this that Wv3 is working as intended.

I wish people would stop complaining about night capping, like ive said before you cant pause a MMO, if you want a game where you can stop when you log may I suggest you go play chess!

This ‘night capping’ fear is a load of nonsense, get used to it! every server be it EU, US, Asia or Oceania sooner or later will have 24/7coverage of the battlefield, yes battlefield because like it or not that’s what it is. I cant ever imagine a soldier saying ‘omg they night capped us while we were asleep’………………

But don’t worry! I have it on good authority he has upgraded the size of his bags, so hopefully no more downtime to sort out the less important loot and doing more of the important things like killing chameleons!!!

Nothing shame. Yes, we are a big guild. It gives us some benefits but problems also. Lack of organisation and control over our members is the first one. I am a private member, but i know official position – we cant answer for deeds of all members, but they will be punished if we know them.

Surely its up to your management to keep your house in order? Big or not, there is no excuse to let your members run riot, this is why you have officers to police your members or are you a /w me for invite, bring all your friends, dogs and lobsters too guild? Also its not just ‘a few players’ its every single Xaoc member that uses the portal knowing it is a glitch, which over the last few days i’ve seen around 50-70 members doing. This isn’t a small minority, your guilds rotten to the core mate. You’ve already got a bad name for yourselves and tbh you’ll never shake it, disgusting tactic’s by a desperate guild.

OP sorry to say this, but if your losing money doing WvW your doing it wrong, my guild and I do WvWvW most nights and I make anything between 1-2g per night. We are not a zerg guild, were just a small number about 9-12 in total that do guerilla tactics hitting camps, sentry’s and supply routes, this helps out in the bigger picture by starving the other servers of supplies. We also help out defend and take major places when needed. Like i’ve said you need to look at your own game plan if your losing money doing it because the way we see it, not only are we gaining cash, were having the most amazing time while doing it.

Night teams are part and parcel of a 24 hour battle, im actually glad that Ruin have come to the server as it balances things up. Near every server will have a nightshift soon its how the game is played. Just because your in bed doesnt mean to say the rest of the world is.

Also moaning about queues is so small minded and arrogant, should there be a slot there reserved just for you every day/night? Get a grip, welcome to life people sometimes you need to wait on things! Granted you might have to wait 10-20 minutes big deal, being in a queue doesn’t cement your char to one spot you can actually do other things while you wait.

Its a MMO there is no pause button, just because you are in bed doesnt mean everyone else is. To be a progressing server you will always have a night team no matter where you are in the world.

Why are engineers loosing a slot to equip kits?

I mean if you look at all other classes they can swap weapons through fights and have three utility slots. We cant, we not only don’t have to option to swap weapons we also lose the slot to have a kit in.

There is a simple solution to this, and that’s make our weapon swap, a kit space! allowing us only to equip one type of kit at a time (which I feel is a good compromise in fairness) The Engineer profession all ready feels very weak and by us not getting the full use of our utility’s weakens us even more.
