We are a tight-nit group of players from Guild Wars 1 – now back for GW2. There are roughly 20+ of us, all active daily (and addicted!)

We are from all over the EU – but we require that you are able to speak english in Guild chat/Teamspeak etc.

Looking for a guild for dungeon runs? World vs World? sPvP? Help with crafting or leveling? We do all of the above! – There is always a group of us teamed up doing one or another, and it’s as simple as asking us in Teamspeak or Guild chat to join in!

They downed him on overflow. I didn’t get in.

Server’s next retry is at server reset, 1am.

Whole thing is a duck king joke.

How is everyone suppost to “join in” with this?

A fantastic idea, but it’ll never happen.

Firstly, I’m yet to beat Tequatl.

Our server has done it once, on an overflow. I’ve been there where it’s twice been 0.05% health, and failed.

But, Anet have seriously not thought this whole thing through AT ALL.

It’s fine if:
1) There arnt AFKers in your home server
2) Your server organizes, set’s times, voice comms, etc
BUT – not everyone can join in on number 2 due to server capacity.
3) People actually know what to do (which, unless it’s number 2, they don’t get past 75% never mind anything else)

So – My server is on an overflow right now, running another event to start in 15mins time. I have been trying for the past hour to get in this server. So, likelihood is I will miss it, again. and there’s nothing i can do about it.

I’m sure that I’m not the only one getting extremely frustrated with the way the event works…

They do drop I have got 1 drop already and when they drop you can pick the type so just do the scarlet event when it pop up and farm those champs ;P

and yes, seems people are indeed buying up armorsmithing etc items – so I really really hope that ascended armors are available by other means.

There are many other games you could play instead. Crafting isn’t optional anymore.
And optional means GW2; like it or leave it.

Crafting should ALWAYS be optional.

Grind should also be optional.

Other games dont force you to craft.

Yeh, I hope there’s some variety.

Thought id share a concern I have with the community -

and that is – ascended armors and how they are going to be obtained.

My concern is from Ascended weapons – if you “dont like crafting” – which, I don’t – hate it with a passion, your going to need to get EXTREMELY lucky to get one drop – and then it’s likely it won’t be what you want anyway.

I am actually going to be crafting the weapon, even though I hate it so, and, 400-500 costs a bomb to begin with, that’s not counting the world bosses, dungeons, puzzles, your going to need to do – for which, I don’t have alot of time to do!

I feel that ascended armors are going to be more of an issue than weapons, and create this dreaded “gear treadmill” – I won’t have time to grind for them, and, as a player since day 1, with “everything but a legendary” – it seems to be doing what the devs said they would not. Yes, okay, I wont NEED the armor, personally. But other people will. The so called “Elite” – its just giving them another thing to add on to their required lists. and for what?

So, I beg of you Anet – consider something like dungeon tokens for ascended armors. Dungeons will be run more, it’ll be fun, and I can do 1 a day, and it won’t feel like grind.

Seems a good idea to me… – Even if the cost is alot of tokens!

Would be nice of Anet to comment on the optimization problems….

I have always had low FPS in GW2, and its not much different now than it was at launch.

I’m 100% sure as with most people here thakittens over reliant on the CPU and the GPU is hardly used.

I use a 3770k @ 4.4 and 780 GTX SLi – and it likes to lag quite a bit.

I live in hope that they will optimize it some day….

Ive opened 15 Black Lion Chests, using keys I had / gold to gems, and I got:

- Boosters
- Make Over Kit
- 3 Scraps

The new weapons and any following weapons are going to be extremely rare, and most will of spent stupid amounts on gems (be this gold or real money) to get even close to having enough scraps.

I think its an extremely unfair system, and is simply farming keys/chests for cash.

Also now doing weekly Puzzles along with the rest of the missions!

I should probably say first that I’m completely useless when it comes to making a build.

I have stuck with one and only one since release (yes, lol) – which was for use primarily with my Greatsword, believe it was 30/25/0/0/15.

With the changes not sure what I should be running.

Weapons wise I’m quite flexible – I would prefer to keep using my GS, and use a secondary such as Rifle / Hammer / Longbow – or something with a Warhorn for WvW.

Any suggestions? – I’m willing to try out anything new, but would prefer to keep my GS due to skins etc

Ashley, I do have a support ticket in but they wont help (as apparently its NCSoft replyign to me as opposed to Arenanet) – on top of that, they ignore the facts in the ticket and ask me to do commands in-game, such as /IP – then using ping plotter.

This was obviously ignoring what I told them that 1) I can’t get into the game on my main and 2) Other people who use my account in different locations, even countries, get this problem with my main – and now 3) I have made a second character and taken it to lions arch, and it works flawlessly.

So yes, what do you suggest? – I’m really rather fed up of it.

I can’t tell you how glad I am to see a thread about this.

I have had this exact issue during all 3 major events (Halloween, southern shore and now today only – wintersday) ALL were in Lions Arch.

So far today, I cannot use my main – and my friends have tried who are in different locations (country, etc) – and they can’t either.

I would greatly appreciate a fix for this…3 events and no fix running is a bit too long.

I have a ticket in about it too! – but currently I can’t play at all.

So, support ^^ its not his network, its a weird game bug – nothing to do with our networks or our PC’s….

Title really says it all.

Since today’s update, my character is unplayable.

I will either get a endless loading screen, or if I am lucky enough to load, It will be as if there is infinite amounts of lag. I won’t be able to do anything, use skills, anything.

This is character based – Not PC or Account. Other characters (If i make a level 1, I only use one character otherwise…) are fine. My girlfriend is using a pc next to me with her character and its working flawlessly. She tried using my account, and got the same errors and lag.
