Guild Wars 2

i find myself in a jealous state when i watch videos, and i see people using the new gathering tools that come through the store from time to time….. jealous that the animations and the effects on these harvesting tools are soooooo much better looking then the skills i cast/click almost everyday.

can we get some of these effects on our characters?

or let me start attacking things using my mining pick!

just one of the reasons why i loved gw1 so much was the option to put the skills you needed on your bar when in towns.
it felt like you were playing YOUR character .
dont get me wrong , i like gw2 , but there was so much that felt so special in gw1. skill captures and setting your build up, among other things.
and i would also like to learn new skills with the weapons we already have, but would not complain if we got new weapons either lol.

cant they just make a recipe for it? or would that break the entire game?

i would like to see ele get a sword that shoots waves of whatever attunement your in at your enemy from a distance. kinda like the way the fiery greatsword works, but with more style.

on the ranger i wish we had the staff attack animations of the rev, but no celestrial form , so get rid of the f5 and combo all those skills into regular staff skills. so we can attack , and the skills would work on the staff ( 1 through 5 ) with out the need to click f5 at all.

and i like the idea of learning new skills , maybe not so much of getting new weapons, but going to school ( your fraction choice , vigil, priory , whispers) and learning new skills. all this time with the same skills sometimes bores me. need more options.

read this entire thread, and there are really great ideas floating around. maybe they can implement a few.

mini’s have been disabled due too excessive blood splatters in map.:)

same. tried a few times on the launcher….then finally got in….but then it sits on the lions arch loading screen. gave up and came here.

hope its fixed soon.

i think we, as a ranger community, need a group hug.

we can only support ourselves now, we were abandoned, we are true rangers for we are alone in this big world.

one with nature, and one day, maybe one day, our AI pet will find its way back into our hearts.

i dont understand what the prob is …

in gw1 they seperated pvp/pve skills, and it worked.. and we had triple the choices..and we could choose to have a pet or not, it was OUR character, our playstyle….and there was not that much ranger hate. seemed like the community was content…

now it feels we took steps backwards, it feels worse. like they dont have any experience which this class anymore.

i would have assumed that they would have used the structure that works….and not go silly on us..

just a thought

but dont think for a moment your going to get someone to spend the time and energy on a animation,

i mean have you played the ranger? were lucky we can use bows at all!

but think how good we are all going to look sitting at the bottom of the lake, we can rename it Pond of Wonders, or Lightshow Lake, kinda makes me wonder if we all got our jellies, and swam to the bottom of the lake , if it would glow so bright like a super nova……
