Recently moved to Denver and getting back into GW2.

Thanks. I sent in an application. Would love to give your guild a try.

I play with a small group of RL Friends. We don’t get on a lot. My Roomate and I are picking up steam again and playing about 2-3 days a week, mostly on the weekends.

We are looking for a medium sized guild that dabbles in a bit of everything. We are adults with adult senses of humor. The Roomate and I have 4 level 80’s between us. one of the other is a 80 thief.

This happened to me occasionally before but definitely more frequent today. I’d say between 1/5 or 2/5 of my deaths lead to eternal loading screen. Have to alt-f4 to get out of it, or wait until the next game starts.

on a related note, does karma accumulate during the match or are we missing out on earned karma when we are forced to leave a game because of this?

I have a very small guild of RL friends, but I’d love if we could join a secondary guild for participating in WvW. Let me know if we can work something out.

Let me start off with a story.

A few years ago, my friend and I, decided to resub to WoW to check out WotLK. We were pretty jaded on the whole concept of large faceless guilds so we made our own guild. Our roommate soon picked up the game and joined our guild. For the longest time it was just us. There were a couple people who came and went but for the most part we three-manned dungeons up to Sunken Temple.

At one point we came across a player named DeuceBigalow. I immediately thought “What kind of kitten uses a name like that”. We were on a RP-PvP server so it flew in the face of the naming conventions. Despite the name however he turned out to be a pretty cool guy. Long story short he ended up joining our small little guild and became one of us. He was laid back, drama free, played the game to have fun, and just an all around joy to play with.

That’s the kind of player we’re looking for.

If you’re looking for a small, personal guild; one where you know the names behind the names, where your voice is heard and matters, where you’re not obligated but encouraged to participate..

Ok that’s wierd. Didn’t do it that time.

Not sure whos end this is on but everytime a start a topic or reply to one my browser shuts down. I’m using a Droid Incredible 2.

I understand the mechanics of this ability are very useful for escaping enemies safely. However it is also useful for general travel and certain combat advantages.

Keep the skill name, I don’t care, but change what my character says. I explored Divinity’s Reach yesterday and must have yelled “Retreat” 20 times.

In groups this could lead to players think they’re overwhelmed when really I just wanna give everyone aegis for a second. Worst of all it makes my Guardian sound like the biggest coward in Tyria.

I had the same problem in gw1 and still in gw2. I never had a problem noticing chat in WoW (not promoting the game, I can’t stand it). Maybe if they let us change the colors of the chat channels. I don’t know what it is but I too miss whole conversations at times.

+1 and I don’t even play an elementalist.

Don’t take this as hard fact but I deleted my GW1 character because I couldn’t seem to link accounts. I was able to use the name.
