I am so happy about this!! Now I can equip my legendaries to an fro my toons! My Kudzu, Juggernaut and Eternity will be passed like around like hot cakes to my toons! Wooooo

I like this new addition but the problem with this is people started to abuse the new information they got. So what happened now is all the common and uncommon dyes that are usually sold for coppers or a few silvers significantly increased the selling the amount by more or less a THOUSAND percent.

People seem to have the idea that when they unlock all the dyes on all of their toons, they will get a corresponding unidentified dye for each of the duplicate dyes they have in their account when they login to each of their toons.

For me, this sounds like an exploit.

I’m really into this too. Imagine having the Decorative Molten Jetpack can be now used for my other alts. I wish I can pull it to convert one into PvP too.

Okay. Looks like I’m not alone with how I feel with Wildstar.

I totally respect others’ opinions going the other way around but it feels nice that I am not alone about how I feel with GW2.

I’m going to get my WvW titles grind going and my PvP ranks up too. I suddenly appreciated everything that GW2 can offer for my taste.

So, I tried Wildstar this weekend and I felt like mehh… I went back to playing GW2 instead and played PVP and forgot about why I stopped playing Solo ranked and hit the Join button to queue. I also loved WvW raids more.

*GW2 has crispier graphics.
*Quests are better in GW2 imho
*Better PVP style for ranked and open world. Battle is three way and not between 2 factions.
*The telegraphs are ok but I liked how GW2 requires you to keep track of the opponent and see his status/buffs or the animation when to cast a skill or anticipate things given the circumstances. It makes dodging easy tho.
*Weapons are more flashy in GW2.
*Combo fields for sustain and damage seems like a funkier way to play open world combat.
*WS just simply looked like WoW with space/galactic theme.
*Finishers are awesome.

I felt like I am not ready to shell out or farm for 15$ to pay for the monthly sub.

Any opinions?

This game will take SLI better than crossfire. A friend of mine plays with two GTX 480s and 5760×1080 and an i7 930 at 4 GHz or 3.4 GHz. switches between the two sometimes. At 4 GHz he gets great FPS everywhere save for obvious areas like lion’s arch or wvw but everything else is fantastic he says. He plays with shadows and reflections off too. sometimes single GTX 480.

Is it possible for you to ask what fps your friend gets at LA at WvW zerg fights and at LA? Thanks for this reply.

Can anybody post a link or a vid or running 5760×1080p benchmarks for Guild Wars 2? I’ve tried to search for GW2 benchmarks on T1 WvW fights running on 5760×1080p but my Googling powers have failed me.

I am asking because I am torn between getting a 2560×1440p monitor or getting triple 24’s for a 5760×1080p setup. I am not sure though if Nvidia Surround is a good idea on SLI for Guild Wars 2. I only play Guild Wars 2 and occasional DotA 2 perhaps to relieve the stress on my eyes from WvW. FPS games are not for me though, I bought the idea of triple monitors already.

I also wanted to know if it would affect my WvW experience like drop so much or something else drastic. I am running on a 4.5Ghz i5 3570K with a GTX 780 and lousily using a 766 monitor. I have accepted the fact hat if I go for the 5760×1080 setup, I need to add another similar card.

I want to bump this up. :’( Why cant silver be doubloons be transmogrified unlike gold doubloons from silver doubloons?

While I was waiting for any reply, I went ahead and did another clean uninstall. This time, by going to the control panel and did just what you mentioned. I even uninstalled all other stuff like PhysX software and stuff that my video card does not support.

Then I went into safe mode and deleted all Nvidia folders that I can find and remnant Nvidia registry entries. I found a useful forum thread where it lists all the steps, directories and registries where Nvidia can be found and can be deleted manually.

After that, I installed the 331.65Nvidia graphic card driver.

I’ve also modified the game shortcut to run it as admin.

I’m already in panic and might just go impulsively buy another video card.

Here are the things I’ve done so far:

Check and clean the video card.
Clean installed the video card drivers by uninstalling what is in the device manager page and downloaded the newest one from Nvidia.
Ran MSI Afterburner and underclocked the card to reference frequencies.

Before, it used to run on Medium (WvW) and Best Appearance Settings (PVE) for me until I started to have these problems.

I’m also using Trend Micro. I see no problem with it whatsoever.

Symptoms:

I see artifacts or something that looks like triangles on my screen before the crash.

The game would sometimes just give me a black screen while sound is still heard perfectly or my game would just freeze up along with my PC.

Sometimes, it seems to happen if I have a browser open. If I don’t have a browser open, it does not seem to occur that much.

Specs:

i3 2120 3.3Ghz
4 GB RAM
GTX 560Ti
Nvidia Driver 331.65

Look at the bolts, they are around 13s94cu

Looks like its time to buy your own while they are still cheap. They were around 4silver until today, last I checked, they are around 7s89cu and going up.

I’ve seen this reddit thread about ascended armors and it might have caused this. Not sure if I can link the reddit thread here.

Man, I wish the ulti skill summon Spirit of Nature can be buffed. Yeah yeah, I get it, they nerfed the Ranger spirit build but I hope they tweak the Spirit of Nature. Maybe they can add more bonuses when this spirit is summoned when traited properly.

Here is a small comparison with the Warrior’s BS.

Battle Standard can insta resurrect while Spirit of Nature can only revive (over time).

Battle Standard can resurrect several people (Not sure if more than 5) while Spirit of Nature can Spirit of Nature can revive up to 5 allies and it can cast that skill twice (3 times if killed) during the duration since the cooldown is 30s on the skill but it dies in 60s.

Battle Standard gives Stability, Swiftness and a blast finisher (requires a water field to heal) effect while Spirit of Nature heals per second and can cure conditions once commanded(Subject to crowd controls applied to Spirit of Nature and if killed)

Karma trains in WvW is the best way I guess while on Karma Boost buff.

We should take into consideration that these weapons are enchanted with things that will make us stronger and stuff like making us heal more or get tougher. So it must be during the crafting that it also got enchanted to be as light as possible even the tiniest Asura can wield the heaviest greatswords.

I just want to bring this up. They should give a title for this. People put a lot of effort to create theirs and I think it is fair enough to give a title for this.

This makes me sad. I have 2 stacks of cores waiting to be promoted but I can’t. The Bottle of Elonian Wine also increased to 50s

The Decorative Molten Jetpack which I bought from the TP and transmuted with an exotic backpiece turned into an Ascended Fractal Capacitor when I tried to upgrade it into the ascended version.

Decorative Moltem Jetpack (Exotic) + Gift of Ascencion + Vial of Condensed Mist Essence + 40 Crystal

After reading about it, it is written in the wiki

“If you transmute a Prototype Fractal Capacitor (Ascended) with the skin of another item, the Mystic Forge will still recognize it as an ingredient in crafting the Beta. It will then lose the transmuted skin and default to the Beta skin.”

…but nothing about my exotic backpiece turning into the Fractal Capacitor.

Any chance I can get this fixed or rolled back with a ticket? The frustration and time I needed to devote to farm for gold and buy one was so frustrating already and now I am left with this.

Any news about this? I have this same issue. I already tried to change my timezone and current time settings for my Windows 7 OS and set the game time to local but somehow it does not help and the achievements do not update. I have also tried to exit the game and restart the client but it does not seem to help.
