WoodenPotatoes on YouTube said in one of his beta playthroughs of HoT has your character fully voice-acted and being a boss at it too, giving commands and orders, and having everyone deferring to you, the Commander of The Pact.

Oooh, awesome! I’ll be looking forward to hear the character’s voice again! ^^

Just a thing I’m curious about… With the new specializations, like the Reaper, a lot of Shouts will be used. This would mean that they’re going to use the old voice actors again, or perhaps even new ones.

Will that mean that they’re going to add the main character’s dialog to HoT’s Living Story as well, and finally be able to speak with a voice towards Braham, Rox, Taimi, Marjory and Kasmeer? Will they finally be rid of staying in the silent background during dialog animations, and only written words in the conversation windows?

What do you guys think?

Hello! I’m busy making a fanfic of some of my characters in GW2. Even tho I just started, with playing the game and creating the comic itself, I wanted to share my progress with you and your help by feedback and comments. Now I haven’t been able to scan in any pages yet, its all still sketches, but I do have some character designs by using the character creator from GW2 itself. Here are the screenshots of my two main characters that I’ll be using along with their profiles, and a couple of characters that will be seen in the comic!

Caladbolg is starting to sound like the Red Violin from the same titled movie. Only the people using it didn’t all die.

Its hard to come up with something completely original. Its like comparing the Charr to furries.

I think they scratched the giant crab event and replaced it with the Champion Risen monstrosity, as the crab has only been there during the betas. Too bad tho, I liked it.

It would be most welcomed to be able to adjust these things – without re-creating (or paying cash since I believe this to be an error in the creation screen lighting perhaps, not “just” cosmetic upset).

Even tho I don’t have the problem myself, I do agree with this. It would be a pain to just pay for changing the appearance of a character.

I must say that I really like the Nightmare Court. Especially Gavin, it felt like Wheatley’s betrayal from Portal once you put him in control. Only this time instead of a supercomputer he steals a superstag.

It feels a bit like some people like Gavin have a bit of resistance to the Nightmare Court. He still had some honor to fight it out one on one in the end, instead of letting his men finish it off themselves.

I miss him already. :I

Hmmmm… I think it would even be possible for Sylvari to get aphid in their headleaves as Humans coul get lice in their hair, right?

Bear is awesome. My Norn Ranger has a soft spot for anything Bear related, now to level up till I can finally use that Elite.
Named his bear Greta. Even going to use both him and the bear for a story, ha!

As tall as possible, as my Norn is in dutch terms (litteraly translated) ‘A bear of a guy’. Also went with the muscley version. Only thing that disappoints me a bit is how the weapons sometimes sink into their clothing. :\

I do love the fact that Sylvari actually glow when its dark and during the night. It gives them that extra bit of mysteriousness.

A day ago I started the upgrade for unlocking the Guild Emblem Template, it had been going smooth for quite some hours. It had only about 3 hours to go until it somehow vanished after I entered WvWvW. The message about it having started is still in History tho. Would really like this fixed.
