I like the idea though I think it will won´t happen till GW 3 unfortunately. Still one can wish right and maybe… just maybe we would be given that opportunity.
I am still a quite noob so my points do not have a lot of value but based on what I have experience while playing as elementalist as a main and several others as secondary, I think that the elementalist has a lot harder playstyle to master but when gotten used to, can inflict a lot of damage. I don´t suggest this class as a starter class to anyone who is new to MMO all though if you decide to do so, it will teach you very well as when you finally take another class to play as, they don´t feel nearly as difficult than you would have thought in the first place.
If you are going in a group even that has a lot of people in it like a dungeon, then take a staff. If defense is more your style then take a scepter and a focus.
Thee best combo is to use a dagger and dagger in my opinion, the attacks have short range but the skill set has a lot of gap closer abilities and is the best of the all to inflict heavy damage into a single target as well as giving you the most mobility while fighting which is viable.
The last weapons choice is the one I recommend the most to a starting elementalist.
Personally I´m fine with it, I´m just to beginner of a player to complete it yet but maybe next time then. The only problem I see in this puzzle is if some player has a moderately or completely poor internet connection so the lag combined with the timed jumping puzzle and freezing damage will make their efforts a living h***. That is not very thoughtful for those players and to them it is not good design choice. On the other hand it is the beast A.Net could come up with and lagging players are quite rare in this game so it is not a major problem. Despite that, I think they should at least try to come up with a different system that would make the puzzle harder.

And Welcome to GW2 =)
Thank you!
The experience I´ve gotten has been awesome and I think so will the upcoming experience define a new meaning to awesome.
I got a question about whole events. I´m a beginner player in Guild Wars 2 since it has been less than a week when I joined in and I have missed these previous events but I know what kind of the Island event was. Now my question is that does this even have some level cap limitations or recommendations as you all know, in less than a week a noob has hard time getting all the way to 80 levels so I´m fairly low on levels but would like to take apart in this event but if it is meant for high level players, then I will stay out since I don´t want to be a leech there and boost my levels as well.
Fair play everyone and Merry Christmas!
