Give us back our high level fractals!
This has to be one of the most kittentarded changes they have ever made.
Each member of our team spent 900 gems on revive orbs to get to Fractals scale 80, because we enjoy the challenge.
All other dungeons have been nerfed.
Slowly starting to say farewell to this poor game.
The splitting of MG into 2 moves was a great decision, but now you get stunned for 1 sec guaranteed instead of 0 to 3 seconds before the patch. Most of the times you will not want to use the pull because it’s so slow.
I think Elementalist is one of the best professions for hard dungeons, second only to Guardian.
Actually I do use PVT armor along with berserker/celest®ial weapons/trinkets and I have 17k HP without WvW bonus. The damage is awesome; you can’t deal much damage in melee range if you go down in 1 shot.

Drops at 40+ appear to be worse than <30.
The difficulty is quite insane, just look at how tanky those dredge are +protection +regeneration and how hard they hit. We’ll get to 60 soon, so I wonder if I can still tank 1 hit of the Cliffside boss at that lvl.
Out of combat weapon swap would be great in PvE, but still overpowered in WvW/PvP.
Imagine enabling Obsidian Flesh and then bum rushing in with Ride the Lightning.
Fire 2 and Water 2 you actually have to aim by predicting where the target is moving. It takes some skill.
Lightning Whip and Fire Grab hitboxes are still badly broken…
1 of the staff Ele’s should definitely learn scepter+focus, at least for the Grawl fractal.
Focus makes an Ele indestructible. I tried to do the dredge puzzle without cheats, but I forgot to equip my focus; died instantly.
The safest thing is to just let the stun hit you, ’cause if someone misses the stability he might get nailed by agony.
Portal guns work, but he will just continue to put everyone into unbreakable cages and then he resets to his starting point. Then every time someone breaks out of a cage with the portal, he instantly does his pull & light agony. Good luck with that.
We had to give up after 45 minutes of kittening around.
Cliffside even is too easy now at 40+… Grawl is all we have, please don’t take that away from us ;(

That’s actually a huge buff. Does evasive arcana proc’ now during mist form? And have you finally fixed its cooldown reduction trait?…

This needs to be reverted to 5 seconds.
Also Fire Shield (Focus) desperately needs a buff. 3s active with 40s cooldown and pathetic aura sharing radius.
It would make fractal runs go a lot more smoothly.
Regarding Mist form, it’s fixed in sPvP with Cantrip Mastery – but it’s still broken in anything else (man this one is annoying).
And i’m still shocked the churned earth cooldown hasn’t been fixed when interupted, it still goes on a full cooldown and not the 3 second one.
Mist form cd reduction still not fixed, despite them stating it in that patch’s notes. That’s amazingly bad.
Churning earth cripples while channeling, so it makes sense that it should go on full cooldown, but this skill needs revisiting. Arenanet only changed the tooltip to remove the intended use that was stated before on the tooltip: a ‘hold and release’ functionality.
I’m at difficulty 29, every day I do 2 daily chests. Got 1700 relics. Never got a ring…

I do 2 daily chests a day. I got to level 29 with +5 agony resist from my Koss on Koss that I made for 40 gold. Now I am stuck.
A friend of mine got 5 rings from 7 total daily chests.

It looks like they systematically targeted this build (one of the few good ones) and nerfed it to the ground. They even removed the leap finisher from magnetic grap and blast finisher from dragon’s tooth.
What’s next? Even lower boon uptime probably. I still have permafury with 2xmonk 2xwater 2xrage. That’s pretty good, so that might warrant another nerf.
Every Elementalist still needs 30 points in Arcana to reduce the ridiculous attunement recharge time. Maybe Staff players can get away with 20 points, but that makes the weapon even more boring to use now.
The 1 viable build for this class; nerfed to death.
Glyphs are fun in PvE, but you’re gonna want to use Cantrips for survivability (30 trait points in water to make them remove a condition).
If you’re sticking with glyphs you should get the accompanying traits in air for 20% cooldown reduction and a boon on each glyph cast (except elite skill (bugged…)).
Every elementalist needs at least 20 points in arcana for attunement recharge time and you get awesome boons with it.
Evasive arcana makes up for the loss of +power by being able to easily stack might.
