Meet my guardian, Thirdus the Flameseeker. Defender of Divinity’s Reach.

Hello there, I just want to input my ideas into the incoming patch this December.

I have this idea about the “Unscathed Contender” from Virtues tree – I major trait.

This trait adds 20% additional damage if we are under the effects of aegis.

I would just like to suggest that why not try and change that ability? Why not let the 20% additional damage take effect after the aegis has been removed for lets say around 10 seconds.

Lets say just add like a 30 second internal cool down on the said trait so it wouldn’t be OP if others think my idea is sort of OP. But at least it still keeps the namesake of the skill as the guardian has not received any damage because of the removed aegis.

We all know that Unscathed Contender is good for dungeons if you know how to maneuver your character properly but its really not that great in WvW or sPvP as far as I see it.

I hope you guys can add to my idea.

All I need now is the Gift of The Flameseeker Prophecies! I just need 79 Icy Rune Stones, 247 Piles of Crystalline Dust, 168 Cured Hardened Leather Square, 15 Orichalcum Ingot, Superior Sigil of Battle, 20g for the 2 recipes for weaponsmith and tailor and some lower tier mats for crafting to 400!

4. Addition information you want us to know, maybe a picture.

I started the day the game came out but I got burned out and went on hiatus for almost 8 months, I just got back recently! Almost after a year of farming and its almost within my grasp!

Hey guys, I am a guardian and I am wondering about the “sweet spot” about our stats. I currently have:

18,225hp

3376 armor without the shield trait

and I currently have 3065 attack.

Is this good enough? I have read some forum posts about DRs in stats and as much as possible I would want to maximize the efficiency of my stats. I would like to use this character on WvW and dungeons.

Looks like he used HotW gear for everything else.

Although I think those may be the CM boots. Can’t tell from the cropping.

Yes, used HotW. Also used T2 Human Cultural Helm. The boot is the Mad King’s Slippers, but there is a similar model around there somewhere.

Hey there, as my title states I am wondering how much Healing Power should I place on my guardian. I was reading a lot about Healing Power and all I can say is that its 50/50 some say its useful, some say its a bad attribute. I read that 550HP is good enough for a support guard, is this true? Can you guys explain further? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys I have been wondering about what kind of stat I should go for in my Tank/Support build.

Here is my traits for the moment, my main trait is for DPS/Tank but I see that my main build can also go on to support which will look like this:

I have read the forums but as far as I can see it my only option is Cleric’s and Soldiers on my armor, and what kind of runes should I put on it?

For my weapon what kind of stat and Sigil should I get?

My guardian currently has 3.2k toughness (with the shield) and 3065 (with 2 handers and other non-shield off hands. ).

Well, here is my Guardian at the moment.

Hey guys, I’m not sure if this issue was posted here. But this is another Flashing Blade bug, not the bug there you fall off the ground. This bug does NOT teleport you to your target, instead the skill is used up but you will just stay where you are. I was testing some weapon swapping when this bug occurred. While in combat I swapped to my sword and immediately used Flashing Blade, to my surprise I used the skill but I was not placed on my target but I was just standing on the area I used the said skill. However, I noticed that when you use the skill after you dodge (swap>dodge>skill) it worked like a charm. I just wanted to point this “bug” out. Cheers!
