The scrapper is fantastic, it really is amazing. The only probably that I seem to have is the speed of the gyros and how unreliable they can be when their trying to keep up with you.
My suggestion would be for the bulwark and sneak gyro, instead of having the follow you I would have them technically on you like the shiro heal for the revenant. And finally for the bast gyro, making the target dart ground targeted because if your target is moving it takes way too long for it to find a way to get to it, if it was ground targeted it would make it a lot more useful because it would be a lot more reliable when it comes to getting it were you want it.
Keep up the good work. I main Engi and I’m loving the Scrapper.
I really want a sawed off shotgun skin for my engi. Gonna get all mad max up in the silverwastes.
Here’s a cool theory that I was thinking about for fun. The Tengu are coming out in the feature patch. They haven’t put them in the game files yet because they don’t want them to be data minded. Just stop and think for a second. The starting areas and cities are being made into mega servers (to handle tons of new characters being created), theres a sale on character slots and they just released the avian/bird mini pack.
Could this Tuesday be the day we see Tengu on the character creation screen.

PROBLEM:
The Giant champion at the town of Nageling in Diessa Plateau needs to be erased. This was only ever pushed at launch and now seen as though it is never pushed the town is always unusable. This is a huge hindrance on enjoying the game when your exploring the plateau. I feel for the people that are exploring the plateau or revisiting the area and get to Nageling and find deserted town that nobody wants to take back.
SOLUTION:
Get rid of the Giant champion event, the days of pushing it are over. Create a new event (which can be done by 1 or 2 people) were separatists or flame legion attack the town and once the town is destroyed it can be rebuilt in another event and if it is defended then they attack later.
OR
Make the Giant champion into an elite or veteran so that 1 or 2 people can retake the town.
I think there’s enough variety with the types of armour your character can wear. So here’s what I was thinking. Instead of making new armour (which im not against) why not give some classes the ability to upgrade there armour type. For example for 100 or maybe even 150 skill points and 10 to 20 gold an engineer can gain access to heavy armour. BUT they could be a downside such as no upgrade slots or casting time increased by 1/2 of second. This could also work with elemental and Mesmer.
Also there could be armour downgrades for the same price for warrior or guardian which allowed them access to medium armour and this gave them less protection but reduced cast time up cast time. Instead of cast time it could be recharge rates of skills.
I think it would be quite cool idea and could also create more builds as there might be an engineer using a tool kit with heavy armour and a warrior that can go berserk and do damage fast but can also die quickly.
Any thoughts?
I don’t know if anyone else thinks the same as me but the Charr engineer rifle animations are actually quite bad. The number 1 skill is called hip shot, all the other 4 races shoot from the chest when doing this attack and the charr, they shoot from there ankles. Like WTF. I think it would be better if they just used the warrior animations which are more polished and believable even for the other attacks.
I’ve been holding this on my chest since the 1st beta weekend and I’ve finally got it off.
Give feedback if you agree and feedback if you don’t but if you don’t then at least give a reason, please.

I think that the engineer should have Bazooka kit, I know that theres the charrzooka but its an elite with a huge cooldown. I was thinking that we, the engineers, should have some form of long range abilities. This kit is designed to be long range and deal a good amount of damage but it has quit big cooldowns (for a kit).
Bazookit. Toolbelt skill, Berserk: Auto attack with any weapon has fire rate is increased by 50% for 5s. 30s cooldown
1)Rocket shot. Fires a rocket. 800 dmg. 1500 range. 180 radius per rocket. 1s charge time.
2)Rocket rampage. Fires 3 rockets in a 90 degree cone. 300 dmg per rocket, 200 burn dmg 2s. 1000 range. 180 radius per rocket. 20s cooldown.
3)Danger close. Fire 6 rockets into the air that come down on enemies. (ground target has a of Radius 300) 400 dmg per rocket. 1200 range. 180 radius per rocket. 3s burst time. 30s cooldown.
4)Suicidal Rocketeer. Fire 5 rockets at your feet that knockdown and knockback foes. 750 dmg per rocket to self 1500 dmg to enemies, knockback 150, knockdown 2s. No range. 400 radius per rocket. 5s burst time. 35s cooldown.
5) Thaumanovula Warhead. Fire a warhead that contains an essence of the thaumanova disaster. (ground target has radius of 500) Creates a time vortex for 10s that slows enemy movement by 33% for 3s, 7000 dmg. 2000 range. Warhead has 500 radius. 2s charge time, 40s cooldown.
It would be held and look like some Charr concept art that should be at the bottom of this. As you can see It can do a lot of damage, BUT, BUT, BUT it has huge cooldowns.

20 in explosives. High Explosive tips. Bazookit rockets (this do not count for the warhead) have +50 radius.
30 in explosives. Automated rockets. Bazookit skills recharge 20% faster.
20 in firearms. Bazoo-scope . Bazookit attacks have plus 20% range.
10 in inventions. Guiding technology. The cone on Rocket rampage is now 45 degrees instead of 90.
20 in inventions. Flak boots. Take 25% less damage from Suicidal rocketeer.
Please leave feedback and mention any changes if you could have one. If Arenanet took credit for this if they added I don’t care, It’ll just be nice to see something a community member posted to get put in the game.

I’v been using the grenade kit for quite some time now. I’m quite bored of it so I was jump wondering if anyone knew any good solid rifle pve builds. preferably without kits in it.
I have 1 character and he is an engineer. I’m very bored of the engineer because the only useful build is Grenade kit and elixirs. I’ve tried turret builds, flamethrower builds, elixir gun builds etc. And they are all obsolete compared to grenades. Don’t nerf grenades to make them equal to everything else, make everything better so that the engineer isn’t the most easy to kill class. If you do think about revisiting the engineer to re do its skills and abilities, please please please make the rifle and pistol and shield viable weaponry. The only reason I have a rifle is to have something in my weapon slot, not to use because guess what, Im using grenades. The rifle is pretty much exclusive to the warrior because that’s the only other class that can use a rifle and use it effectively.
Engineer redo please. ASAP

The engineer, the lord of machines, the maker of gadgets and user of guns. Call it what you will. The engineers efficiency with a rifle is confusingly bad. The warrior, the person whos suppose to use swords and hammers is better with a rifle than an engineer. At the moment theres no point in using anything other than grenades as the engineer because their overpowered and everything else the engineer has is underpowered. The engineer has no need for actual weapons for he/she has a grenade kit that was blessed by the gods. Please arenanet, give engineers a reason to use rifles, buff the damage, make the trait skills stronger, just please do something. this may seem extreme but even change the rifles weapon skills if you have to. Please just do something, as a player who mostly plays engineer not being able to use my legionnaires bayonet is terribly frustrating because its obsolete to grenades.
When im walking around I don’t see characters, only names and that only when im close to them . this is called culling and its annoyed as a charr that likes humans. theres an option for it in and wvw but not for pve (which is where I spend most of my time). Please add a culling option for pve because when im walking around I don’t know if theres anyone there which makes it feel like a single player game.
I think they should merge some servers to raise the population and make it possible for you to see other people out in the world because at the moment there’s nobody around and it feels like a single player game.
