Thx I’ll look into this, been debating this pretty much all weekend.

Been browsing the forms and various web pages and I’m totally lost to which stats/upgrade components I should be using as an 80 Guardian and what I should be shooting for in ascended teir for pve.

Lucky you I was waiting in overflow, and when I finally could travel to the homeworld the event was over.

But overflows have same events with 10 min delay.

Fair enough, that will be what I’ll end up doing.

Mainly a question to any Direct TV internet users, I’m trying to find out if there is a data limit or cap with this provider? If there is does that mean the internet is cut off (offline) till the next cycle of billing?

Googled over the last couple days and I could not find specific data bout this, even on their site. Guildies I’ve talked to don’t have it and use other means of a provider. 10 years ago didn’t have to worry bout data plans but this day an age seems to be a price on it now.

I know some are gonna say to just call the provider but personal experiences would also help before do sign up with them or someone else.

NCsoft’s latest financials are out, and show a 49 per cent fall in net income on last quarter, but a 322 per cent rise year on year. Sales follow the same pattern, down 51 per cent on the last quarter, but up 31 per cent on last year.

Q1 sales were ?184.9 million or $166.3m (£108.2m), while net income for the same period stood at ?52.3m or $47.1m (£30.6m).

Korea remained NCsoft’s biggest market with 64 per cent of sales, up from 43 per cent last quarter. North America’s share fell from 25 per cent to 13 per cent, while Europe fell from 18 per cent to 8 per cent. The company’s biggest seller for Q1 2013 was Lineage 1, but Guild Wars 2 still maintained a 21 per cent share.

NCsoft’s managing director, Nah Seong Chan, also hinted during the earnings call that the company was planning to address falling Guild Wars 2 sales with a new expansion pack.

“In terms of box sales and microtransactions are still very strong, and of course we are preparing an expansion pack but in terms of when we will actually launch it, it’s something we are still monitoring… We are looking to the performance of the game and then we will decide what will be the best time to do the launch.”

Unfortunately developer ArenaNet doesn’t appear to have got the memo, with director Colin Johanson saying as recently as March that none were currently planned.

“Expansions are definitely something that we’ll potentially look at in the future, but we don’t have a timetable on it. We’re open to it, but I think our major focus as a studio is making the living world concept as strong as possibly can for the players that we’ve got.”

Overall, some people <10g some people 100+

Pros:

-Fractal dungeon, really enjoyed it
-Lost Shore zone is nice looking but nothing to do there.
-Really liked the Owaina (sp) event/npc, will she always stay there or will she be rescued?
-Can not think of any other reasons.

Cons:

-Lag, I dunno why spawning bunch of pixels with X amount of players that you didnt see thise comeing.
-Bugged NPCS/Events, seriously do you not test this before deploying it? Like 4-5 servers last events was bugged, not to mention the phase 1 quest chain npc bugged out.
-Last event was ok, but the reinforcement parts took way too long.
-Time of the events, I suggest do small event friday, big events saturday, simmer it down on sundays. People do have a life outside the game.
-Lost Shore zone, nothing to do here beside the last event and 2 jump puzzels. No hearts, no karma venders (armor/weapons/trinkets, etc dont have to be exotic just like any other heart karma vender), some events but nothing that really makes a difference.
-Loot at the very end IMO should have just been the neck boa piece and the bag, should have just left exotics out in general because now you got half a player base that got 4-10g from it vs some that made 100+ not to mention that some them was on trial accounts. Suggestion would be make “special” end loot that boa that comes from the chest and/or mob.
-I was hopeing for new skins but I dont like playing the RNG game with the chest in the gem store, now if the skins was on the store directly that be a whole different story, again boa.
-I thought the whole karka thing was suppose to change Tyria in some way, as I was lead from the teaser trailer. The only thing I’m seeing is a destroyed ship, a broken lighthouse, an island filled with crabs, and a fractual dungeon???

My 2 cents, I liked Halloween event and stuff that came with it, even though there was some bugs I was like ok just a bug they didnt catch, but this time there was several bug/stales in events. So after this shindig, gonna give it one more shop hopefully winter event wont fail.

-No Halloween music in Lions Arch
-Wish there was a corn field maze

Title says it all, really enjoyed it. As well the other events that was released in Act 2.

Never mind I found her, she’s been moved for some reason. She’s now over by the profession npc’s at the fountain. Also noticed that the bank npc been moved outside the bank somehow.

Heres how I did this story this evening.

Try aggro the oozes to the top for easy grabbing of the globs

First go to the point with the oozes and patching up the holes in the ship floor in the floor above you. You will get teleported but to get around that keep jumping as ur going in, have glob in hand and rdy to use when you are over the leak. Keep doing that till you get all the leaks.

After that make sure all 3 npcs are up cuz if not then the second row of cannons will not spawn (I found this out late as i had already had one ship down and 2/3 of the other ship down), because through out that I was bounceing fish back to get damage on the boats till those cannons spawned.

When we decided to do the storyline today we’ve not been able to do it together as we had yesterday. Is this a bug or was we not meant to be together to do these storyline quest.
