Finished today. Not bugged for sure.

100% i hit her 7x as I throw it when she’s right beside me and no achievement

Don’t even try doing seven and waste your effort. I just tried this, got to 7 with surprisingly full health and good time but didn’t get the achievement. I should’ve just gone for the 8. I prolly would’ve succeeded that try.

Now I can’t do even 7 again after 20 more tries.

Don’t risk it, if you get to 7, just go for that 8th! It didn’t work for me

I say, give easy mode and hard mode.

Easy mode: Liadri has 75% less HP, does 75% less damage, and does not have a cripple skill. No rifts spawn and once phase 2 starts, the aoe 1shot kills stop. Remove all 1 shot kills.

Hard mode: The way it is now.

Rewards for easy mode: both achievements and the miniature
Rewards for hard mode: botch achievements, the miniature and 10gold

EDIT: oh, and people don’t spawn DEAD outside the dome on the catwalk. We spawn alive and well.

Hardmode: both achievements, miniature and an exclusive TITLE. Don’t care about the gold.

People who finished her, especially the 8 orbs deserve something special that you can’t obtain. If you’re asking for a nerf, then you should be prepared to lose something exclusive like a Title. Not on some cheap 10 gold that you can farm in less than an hour.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: The timer needs to go.

There should be no timer on liadri…

The timer is part of the challenge. You need to multi task while fighting her to be able to actually beat her. You’re asking for an easy way out. everyone would just go in as a tank.

If they remove the timer, at least reward the people that can beat her with a timer with some sort of a title

I feel alienated by all the easy contents in the past. It was all grind grind grind.

70 tickets spent, I called it quits.

I also don’t feel like playing gw2 anymore because of this, at all. I stopped doing dungeons, I stopped doing dailies, I just log on to chat from now on.

Took away my motivation to play the game, I come to relax and get some chievs not to get frustrated.

Skip QG and do something else. I don’t understand why you have to be frustrated at this. Accept that fact that not everyone can finish the challenging acheievements.. You’re not required to finish it or anything.

umm why? Just leave it and do some other content. GW2 is not just QG.

Honestly, if you don’t have the skill or if you don’t learn it properly, then accept the fact that you’re bound to not finish every single achievement out there. Previous contents have been a joke in terms of challenge and I applaud GW2 for bringing in a challenging one.

If you don’t feel like playing gw2 anymore, too bad. You can’t have everything handed to you on a silver platter.

Please don’t nerf. Achievements are called as such because you basically need to achieve it. All the achievements in the past don’t deserve to be called as such as they were mostly grinding.

If you can’t finish the achievements in the QG, then just accept that you don’t have the skills to finish it. Do some other contents. Pretty cheap if you want them to nerf a challenging content just so completionists without much skill/learn the content can actually finish it.

Suck it up and move on.

Try being color blind. Her 2 second red ring warnings are practically invisible against the floor. Throw that in with horrible camera angles and I simply can not even play against her.

Might as well try beating her with your eye’s closed.

GW2 has a lot of content that requires you to see the AoE. If your color blindness affects you that much then GW2 is prolly not the game for you. It’s not just Liadri.

Can you pls lower the difficulty of this achievement? Maybe lower it to 6 orbs or something? It’s near impossible to finish it without a good amount of luck. Thanks.

Just wondering if theres anything in game I can miss in the next few days.. ie achievemnts from southsun, minipets on tp etc ty … my internet is down

Bob, at this point, there’s no way to change display names unless it’s a security issue like mentioned above. You have some options however:
1. Prove to them that there really is an a securty issue.
2. Go to Suggestions and suggest that this feature be implemented as was mentioned in the Q&A page around GW2 release time (unfortunately was taken down).
3. Finally, if it’s a fairly new account, within 6 months, and you don’t mind losing whatever progress you’ve made on the account, you can get a refund. When you get the refund, you can repurchase the game and recreate a new account/Display Name.
