So the pvp season ended in the middle of a match without warning. No rewards for my win. Go into the next game, thinking it was just a bug. And no one sees the rewards anymore. And everyone just … stopped playing.Thanks for the heads up, Anet!
I just wanted to say thanks for the wonderful matchup in T4. A+ work giving YB more people. It’s been a wonderful week seeing more YB escorting yaks then I’ve seen from either other server.

Love this! I haven’t played with sound on for almost 3.5 years, and I forgot how amazing the ambient dialogue from NPCs was. Unfortunately, I discovered my salvage-o-matics have dialogue that isn’t muted by this new option.
From my perspective — and I’m not a huge server loyalist — both servers are being linked, thus both servers should “loose identity” on some level. I would much rather prefer the game reports that “Red Team captured Hardened Rampart” or “Green Team captured Habib’s Encampment” etc. Much more neutral. After all, server name is really irrelevant. Half the time I don’t even see it. I just see enemy nameplates.
I love the idea of using colors for the server names instead. It’s been a little confusing so far. I keep having to remind myself that I’m the red map anyways.
Another idea to add would be to put a little house on your home BL’s selection bar beneath the scorelines.

Just curious to you who dislike the hand glows, do u also dislike the non transparent/ glowy herald ground graphic? If not, which i asume u dont mind since it isnt mentioned here, how come?
Personally i barely notice the hand glow when playing, while im really distracted by the herald icon.
I haven’t used the herald trait line, so I haven’t seen the herald ground graphic yet. It sounds annoying though. I would ALSO like to disable that, but I’ll probably just not use the herald spec.
EDIT: There is also a glow that randomly spurts up on the skill bar. Noticed it while in 1st-person mode. It’d be nice if all this glow kitten could be disabled. It’s distracting and annoying.
Does the matchmaking system ever actually give decent matches? I’m sitting at just under 50% win/loss for unranked after 207 matches, but they’re still 200/500 either for or against me. I’ve almost never experienced a decent, close match.
I swapped to ranked thinking that might give slightly better matches, but it’s even worse. I lost 6 games in a row! The vast majority were curbstomps. Not even a remote chance in hell of winning.
