I believe this is due to the tutorial for PvP not being completed and therefore every time you go into Heart of the Mists, it puts you there. My advice is to complete the Tutorial and then you should be ok.

I had this happen to me twice. When I was queueing in unranked PvP and the screen ‘accept/cancel’ for starting the match came on, I accepted, then choose a map. Then a NEW ‘accept/cancel’ screen came on. The first time, I could click ‘accept’ again and could again choose a map, which resulted in the first printscreen. The second time, I couldn’t click ‘accept’ nor ‘cancel’. I also couldn’t escape anything on my screen so I had to do an alt+F4 (second printscreen).
They should make a system that if someone goes offline pre match (in the one and a half minute) that person gets kicked out and someelse who is queing gets the option to join. This would help alot.
Ofcourse this would not happen when char swapping since thats not offline
Oh boy, I would be very mad if I had to join a game with a terrible team because someone rage quit.

Today, I played about 10 unranked matches and all of them were against premade teams or guild teams. Needless to say, we lost a lot of them. This is seriously no fun. I queue solo, my team mates queue solo (I have begin asking them, because I found it so suspicious) and every kitten time, we end up against a premade/guild. I know that the player base is not that large, but I would like to wait a little longer so I could actually have a better chance at winning.
I’m also beginning to think that my match making is broken because it keeps happening, I’ve noticed this a few days ago also.
I played three pvp matches today, spread throughout the day. And every single match, I end up against the same pre-made 5 guild team. The rest of my random team members queued solo. Every time we lost by ~400 points. It doesn’t even seem the MMR was tied between the teams. PvP is really no fun with every match you play, the same thing is happening.

So for my boyfriend’s birthday I made him a quaggan quest, written on parchment, where he had to help a quaggan named Poopwoop find his most beloved precious. Which turned out was another quaggan named Tingling. Here is a link to the plushie: http://imgur.com/a/y3reB
The quaggan is named Tingling because I put a little bell into her belly so she rings when you pick her up.
For anyone interested: the material is fleece, the bow is made out of cotton. Almost evertything is handsewn and the pattern is also made by myself.
So, just an idea.. I’ll be naming the teams ‘red’ and ‘blue’ for making it easier to read.
When someone from red leaves the match, block a person from blue from participating, until the person who left comes back (DC)/match has ended.
The block from participating could go like this: the moment a person from red leaves, someone on blue is teleported back to the spawn area. He has to stay there, until another person from blue dies and respawns. Then he can go back in the game and the player from blue who just died has to stay in the spawn area until another one on blue dies.
When another player from red leaves, block 2 people from blue from participating.
Possible or not?

How long I have been waiting for this option, still isn’t in game..
In the south corner of Lunatic Inquisition there is a cliff where this person was standing THE WHOLE GAME. He could even hide in the stones itself, so he was bearable visible. You could only see him because he had the ‘target’ sign above his head; his name tag was invisible. Only at the end he jumped down – after he won the game and just a few seconds were left. We couldn’t reach the spot on the cliff, not even with the scarecrow teleport skill.
Is this exploiting or are you really able to reach this cliff (another way around etc)?
EDIT: I now added an arrow pointing to the cliff, since I took the screenshot the moment he jumped off of it.

I’m amazed this is the first post I see about this. It’s really frustrating.
I’m from Belgium too and I’ve been encountering this issue since about a week before the last patch (so since 7 April).
- Location: Lokeren, Belgium
- ISP: Belgacom
- Error codes: 42:1020:101:4342:101
19:0:0:0:101
19:9:19:1720:101 - The first time I DC’ed was a few days before the patch of 15 April. I was playing Pvp and I was suddenly kicked and couldn’t log in again for about 5 minutes after that. When I could log in, I couldn’t play with any of my chars (also an error code as stated above). This lasted for 5 minutes and then I was able to play again. Half an hour later, I got kicked again and couldn’t log in for over an hour and a half (went to sleep after that, the next morning the problem was ‘fixed’). The day after that I DC’ed again with the same error code, resulting in me receiving a dishonorable buff.
Another time (about a week after the patch), I was waiting in HotM to join a match and I clicked ‘Go now’. A message popped up I couldn’t join the match and received one of the error codes stated above. I clicked another 4 times on ‘Go now’, always resulting in receiving one of the error codes from above (so not always the same one). I didn’t DC however. After a while, I could join the game (which was just about to start, so I received 5 errors in 1 to 2 minutes). I didn’t receive the error again since then.
During all those errors and DC’s, I have never experienced any lag. When I’m having the error, I also can’t access the GW2 site (except the forums). All other sites and games work just fine when this occurs. I’ve already ran a virus scan and checked the settings of both my router and firewall. Nothing seems off on those things.

Incidentally, we’re not aware of any general connectivity issues from Belgium, so that sort of points to it being local on your end.
The Belgian players have been complaining about this issue for over 3 weeks. We had our providers ran checks and they found nothing. There’s a 3 page forum post about us having these problems.

Are you from Belgium? This a known issue there. For some reason, Anet servers randomly decide to kick Belgian players. There isn’t a known fix for this, you just have to wait until the error goes away (about 10 minutes to 5 hours).
If you’re not Belgian, you should sent a ticket to customer support.
Yeah, I’ve had the same but with a lower lvl player..
Most of the time, he ran to cap points that our team was already capturing while no enemy was in sight. Obviously, my teammates and I ran to were we were most needed atm instead of just standing there capping with 2.
It ended up with him about 220 and the rest of us about 70. According to him, we were the ‘nubs’ because our score was so far below him.
Anet still should look into this. It isn’t the first time I’ve seen this bug posted on this forum.

I think you should report this as a bug. I did other dungeons on story mode and all the tracks unlocked, just as Anet stated.
Add the hydra queen achievement to that list too.
My mini map works fine except for the map ‘Spirit Watch’ in PvP. There I have the same issue and I also can’t drag it around.
Were you doing Hotjoin only today? There’s a limit on the progress you can make through HotJoin, while SoloQ and TeamQ don’t have this limit.
A few days ago, I couldn’t join a SoloQ match due to an error about firewall and router settings. When I finally could join, we were only 3 on our team and 4 on the other (match wasn’t started yet but no other players joined after that). They really need to sort this out.
Anet never removes dishonorable buffs, even if the buff is caused by a problem on their servers. If you DC once, okay, no worries. If you DC twice, you should stop playing.
I don’t think it happened because you changed character, it’s just their servers… Just a few minutes ago, I couldn’t enter the tournament (I got 4 different error codes) and also the ‘tournament timed out’ message.
When I was able again to enter (after about 5 tries), we were only 3 on our team, so we’re not the only ones having issues.
Since the new patch, my mini map is bugged on the PvP map Spirit Watch. I can’t see any of both bases and it seems centered on the orb. It isn’t a matter of zooming in/out or dragging it around since I can’t do either of these things.
I only play SoloQ, so I don’t know if this also happens on HotJoin or TeamQ.
I made my necro 12 hours ago and set him up with a 4/0/6/4/0 MM build and am already 40% done with champ phantom title. I’ve never made a necro before. Take from that what you will
So in 12 hours you won 60 matches? I’d be suprised you had the queue pop that many times in 12 hours or actually played for 12 hours. You must mean 40% of one of the stages
I tracked it and after 12 hours it said 40%
I only tracks the percent of the current tier you’re on, not the whole achievement IIRC.
It also helps a lot when, after you’ve found the real mesmer, you target him with ctrl-T.
Yes… I only wait 10 minutes for team and 25 min for solo tournaments in average…
I really don’t know how you manage to do that. No matter what time I queue, the average waiting time is 45 seconds.
Maybe autoattack is enabled on elite?
I’ve received my daily twice yesterday. Once after completing 5 categories and twice after I finished a 6th one.
Belgium players have lagg since last week.

Hi, another Belgian reporting in.
I don’t have massive lag but a few days ago, I kept getting disconnected with the error about firewall and router settings. I’ve checked those and I couldn’t find anything on my part. I’ve received a dishonorable buff due to all my DC’s.. It was then also rumoured on reddit it had something to do with the providers in Belgium.
What provider are you guys? I’m with Scarlet/Belgacom. My boyfriend (who’s with Telenet) is also experiencing enormous lagg.

The problem with the servers stands longer than today. When I received that error, there were other players (all from my country) receiving it as well, which makes me think it wasn’t my fault I DC’ed but a problem on their servers.
I hope they clear it out for you.

I also received one about 3 days ago because of a firewall and router settings error (which I checked; I couldn’t find nothing wrong on my end). I sent a ticket for it but they didn’t remove it.

Since a day ago I’m getting logged out of the game with the message:
“The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time. This is most commonly caused by firewall or router settings, security applications, or connecting through a campus network. For additional support, please visit http://support.guildwars2.com.”
This happened several times, but always after a certain hour (11 PM). After this popped up, I also couldn’t log in again for some minutes.
I’ve checked the settings of both my routers and firewall and couldn’t find nothing odd. I’ve also ran a virus scan which also didn’t point out anything peculiar. Visiting websites etc. works just fine when this happens. It’s really bugging me out since I’ve received a dishonorable buff because this always happened while I was in a PvP match.
Anyone who has a solution to this or who also has this?
I would kindly ask people to not judge a friends/sisters/brothers/girlfriends/etc suspension as wrong on Arenanet’s side untill he ticket is resolved.
Or better yet, let the “friend/brother/sister” take care of their own business. I’ve seen posters defend their “friend/sister/brother” so emotionally and with painstaking detail it makes you wonder who got banned…them or their “friend/sister/brother”.
People who are terminated don’t have access to the forums.. They have to depend on friends and family to make a topic in the forums since they can’t do it anymore.
Well, same story here. Got terminated a week ago, and got my account back a few days after. I was banned for botting or using 3rd party programs (which I didn’t). I guess mine was triggered due to hitting the same keys repetitively and doing a lot of alf-F4’s during PvP.
I’ve been terminated myself a week ago. Mine was for ‘using third party programs’, which I also didn’t. They reinstated my account after a few days, but I know it sucks
But I’m sure they will see their mistake and reinstate your account
