I recently made a should i make a chronomancer thread that had lots of useful feedback on the class itself but i have decided against playing chrono for anything but pvp for now so mainly my experience with elites has been mostly with herald some reaper and tempest and thats it but if i had to choose one elite spec above all others that is viable in all 3 game modes which one should i stick with?

Hi all i saw that there was another “class poll” thread started here but i mainly ask what the most fun class to play in all 3 game modes is i have tried scrapper in pvp and i felt to tanky but not enough damage, i was use paladin amulet. But atm i currently main a revenant herald but was considering a chrono to play but the lack of speed on the mesmer base class kind of puts me off all together but i am asking about elite specs not base class. My herald is fun and all but is do darn easy to kill things with my build i dont die often and things are a joke to kill. I did make and max out a tempest and though it is fun i cant seem to stick with it but i like the idea of confusing your enemies with illusions and phantasms and clones while in combat and then watching them shatter like glass after combat is over so i guess i am asking is should i use my 80 tomes of knowledge to max out a mesmer and then work on the elite spec.

I intend to play the chrono in wvw pve and pvp given the chance i just need to know if it is worth playing now or if i should just stick with my herald. The main things i am looking for is does it have decent damage, can i survive easily, and lastly is using portals in wvw difficult in a zerg environment

i have a level 80 engineer that I would not mind playing a scrapper but am too used to being able to use my revs perma swiftness and I have no clue what build I should be running as an engineer and I’m not looking to change much in the way of traits or armor sets but if I must I would rather just change my traits but I don’t know what to start with any clues?

Hello all! I just completed the mistward armor collection yesterday after about a week of grinding the collection masteries needed and working on other stuff but now that I have it I have a new problem. When I got this armor set yesterday I immediately changed the colors to shadow abyss and burgundy (as these are the colors I use most) but I am now looking for some kitten color combos to liven the armor up. I am a guy so keep that in mind so no pink or white colors but truly looking for some unique awesome looking color schemes to bring this armor set to life so if you all could take a picture with decent light of your tune and put it on here with colors used that would be fantastic. I am in love with the way the armor looks like on its own but I figure the right colors could make it truly stand out in the world.

I currently main a revenant and am working on map completion and trying to do the raid and many other things but when I see other reapers around my mind says play that and then I play it and resent my choice.

hey guys I have been unable to login after getting the balance patch due to being busy at work so have been unable to test this but with the balance patch did anet finally fix that glint bug where our facets would deactivate themselves for no reason or is there a workaround if there is no fix?

Lately when I play the revenant I will be using just facet of elements for say map completion and randomly my facet will deactivate itself. It won’t activate the dragons breath its almost just like the facet just turns itself off for no reason. I thought it could be caused by going in and out of water but this happens on a fresh login as soon as I logout and log back in and activate the facets it will still deactivate itself I have even activated facet of nature, facet of darkness and facet of elements which should make no energy regen pips show up but I don’t actively lose energy because of it and facets darkness and elements will deactivate themselves but facet of nature will stay active? I would appreciate a fix for this as map completion tends to be rather slow when you facets keep turning themselves off.

what are the colors your using? I love the blue fire look for the herald?

when I am playing on my herald all my facets work as they should but when I leave facet of elements on to get the perma swiftness it will randomly turn itself off like I deactivated it

I most likely missed this in the stream I rejoined it in time to see the trailer for heart of thorns but when is the next beta weekend?

just wanted to say that I just finished the brisban wildlands invasion and got scarlet bag and 30 blooms so they had to of fixed something

Hey all, I recently got a warrior to lvl 80 which I doubt I will regret but my question is for an estimated time frame to get every single waypoint in the entire world maps that count towards map completion. I ask this because I believe if I get all the waypoints that are necessary for map completion that it will be that much quicker. The weapons I plan to run through this all with are sword/warhorn greatsword and with the trait(forgot the name) that makes me run 25% faster while wielding a melee weapon. Any thoughts on this time frame?

so is it possible to just use the content guide with story and events turned off and still get it done quickly?

Hey my fellow GW2 players I recently got my engineer to 80 and found a really good build with good speed around a map, decent damage and good survivability. My only question which is the same as the title which is how do I do the zones to make the most of my time with map completion like a suggest zone list to go since I think there are only 24 or 25 zones that I need for map completion I need an idea of zone order to get it done quickly as possible because I work nights and its hard to find the desire to play so on my days off I wanna knock out a few zones but I wanna make my time worth it rather than doing zone to zone to zone and having drag along and yes I do realise this will be rather dull and I don’t expect to be done in 2-3 days but to get it done close to within a week or so would be grand so if people could create for me a suggest zone order with #1 being the first zone to start with and getting all the way down to the final zone I should do before its all done

so am i unsure if this topic was already unveiled or not but i am just curious do revenants start out at 80 or do i actually need to level it like any other class cuz if i need to level it im stocking up on tomes of knowledge and if not i can just relax and stock up on money for new armors and whatnot
