Renegade seems weak compared to the usual condition damage a revenant can deal, but it has nice supportive capabilities. There’s just one thing that needs to be changed to make it compete with druid for the raid healer role:

The spirit that makes your allies apply bleed each second for 10 seconds acts like venoms, meaning the renegade gets the damage numbers from those bleeds and not the people that apply them with the buff.

If it was changed to be like druids sun spirit, it would make a nice elite spec for healer revenant.

Think about it, you got alacrity and heals, condi cleanse, etc. from ventari, and heal + extra bleeds + life siphon from renegade for your team, definitely a competitor for a spot as raid healer/support.

I have done multiple raids in the past month, past 3 weeks to be more exact – and gotten a few successful weekly clears aswell as I raid almost daily by now, mainly for kittens and giggles, but I also love getting more experienced and better at the encounters and obviously at my own classes.

I raid mainly with PUGs (pick up groups) and I hardly ever experience any organized kills.

Before considering to invite me, please read the full following part as it might be important to wheither you want me in your guild or not:

1. BUILDS

So far I run builds that are close to meta, or even just metabuilds to experience certain encounters – or to get accepted into a raiding party as people are very close-minded.

I love experimenting with new builds, or, off-meta builds a lot and love running them in raids to see how they perform and how to adjust them better.

2. EXPERIENCE

I have been playing Guild Wars 2 since almost the launch, meaning a current 4 and a half years of experience. Due to that I have an easy time adapting and learning new things, aswell as using my knowledge to solve problems, shall they occur.

My current raiding experience is limited, but I will just list what experience I have with which encounters:

W1:
VG – Killed multiple times, usually just banter with weird off-meta builds + commanded it multiple times to successful kill
Gorseval – Killed multiple times, used all kinds of strategies + commanded it multiple times to successful kill
Sabetha – Killed once with a pug, love running cannons with power engineer

W2:
Slothasor – Killed a few times and got some experience with it, but pugs never use a consistent strategy so I could use some practice
Trio + Mathias – never done, watched videos on them

W3:
Escort – Done multiple times, usually running towers but also done ground a few times
Keep Construct – Attempted multiple times but no successful kill with pugs
Xera – never attempted, watched videos on her

W4:
Cairn – Attempted multiple times and got some experience with it, but never aimed for a kill so far
Mursaat Overseer – No idea.
Samarog + Deimos – watched a couple times but a little afraid to try as I haven’t done many other bosses

3. CLASSES

I currently have 4 raid-ready (full ascended) characters, working on more as I write this:

Condi Phalanx Strength Warrior – 25k dps on golem
Condi Burn Guardian – 31-32k dps on golem
Power Engineer – 34k dps on golem
Power Tempest – 36-37k dps on golem

I have used all those builds in raids aswell and made experience with them.

4. WHAT I LOVE

I love it when groups are open-minded and want to try new things, such as off-meta comps, builds or strategies to kill a boss. Mainly because using the same strategy each time gets boring for me.

That being said, lets come to the final point!

5. WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR

I am looking for a guild that can help me get better at raids, clear encounters on a good basis and accepts new ideas and builds – if they do their job.

I would love if there’s multiple people that have a similar mindset to new strategies and builds, aswell as love working on those.

Voice chat (like discord or ts) should be there, as otherwise I don’t feel a difference to pugs, really.

Hi there!

Since about 2 weeks now I have had lots and lots of disconnects and small “what felt like lags” – lags. My ping is on constant 14-34ms and none of my other applications that need internet connection have this issue at all.

Seemingly it is only Guild Wars 2 which tends to “kick” me from the servers all the time. I just use the word kick because it doesn’t feel like natural disconnects at all, I’ve had those.

What happens:
At this point (March 17), I get disconnected about every 5 minutes and small, lag-like glitches every now and then.

Some stuff:

• It happens basically since February 22 patch, but it increased in number since about two weeks ago (somewhen in the beginning of march).
• I get thrown into character select and have no problem or connectivity issued when reconnecting, until the next time I get thrown off server
• I have gone ahead and repaired my game, nothing changed
• I run Guild Wars 2 on the 64 bit launcher
• The code I get on disconnects is 7:11:;3:191:101

Now, I don’t mind if there is some kind of server problem or anything , but seems like it’s only me everytime I ask map chats or guilds.

I can literally not do anything, trying to do an event doesn’t give me loot since I get kicked out before it, instances of course won’t work since I get kicked out of them once I disconnect and I can barely even do my dailies.

The Guild Lab is a guild that has been around pretty much since launch of the game, however we’ve lost most of our active members until this day. Guild founder and leader/s aren’t playing anymore due to reallife issues, so I am in “charge” of the guild now.

We are a PvE oriented guild, however people in the guild do all kinds of activities.
We currently have 60+ members, however most of them are inactive, as stated above, so we are looking for new people to enjoy the game with!

From recent observation I would say we have about 5-10 people online daily and we want to improve that by getting new members into the guild!

Some stuff:

• We love to keep a friendly and mature atmosphere in the guild and the chat
• We would prefer it if you are 16+ years old
• We are very casual, but if we can gather people to do activities or even raids we might do so
• We prefer if you represent the guild at times, but there’s no “100% rep rule”
• We do not insult or discriminate anyone
• As we are PvE oriented, any server is welcome
• We do not have any current weekly events as there is no reliability on having enough people online at times
• Guild Missions happen every now and then, we used to hold them on sundays regularly, but nowadays we just do them on request or behalf of guild members
• We own the Lost Precipice Guild Hall at level 47 currently, but we are upgrading it even further

We simply want to offer you a place to relax, meet new people and have a nice chat with everyone, while enjoying the game’s content.

It’s normal that everyone has something to do in their life and we respect that, so there is no “be online daily” rule or anything like that, simply be online now and then or tell us if you’re gone for a longer time as we tend to kick players with long time inactivity.

If you ever need any help reach out to guildies in the guild chat, if someone’s online it’s very likely that we can offer you help. Dungeons, Fractals, any instances or PvE content can be done better with a group than alone, right?

However, remember that we are very tight on numbers so don’t expect people to always be online or willing ot help, we all got our own things to do sometimes.

It’s not their rig that is stuttering during gameplay, it’s just the recorded video (probably not enough RAM). Some ppl are either ignorant or arrogant about their finances which allow them to buy high-end hardware.

I’m sorry for the bad video quality. My game is running on stable 60 fps (limited) all the time, even on world bosses which used to kill my old setup. I believe my CPU just can’t handle a badly programmed game (in terms of CPU usage) plus recording with freeware (which might also be badly programmed due to it being free and non-professional).

So I was in Tarir once again, not for the loot but for Hero Points. And when I saw bouncing mushrooms I thought: “Maybe I can place a portal on top of them and have fun?” – Everything developed from that thought.

After farming a while in Silverwastes I now have 6000+ Bandit Crests and nothing to really spend them on. I looked up ways to make profit out of them and while doing that something came to my mind. I can buy “Jurah’s Jewel” for 1000 Crests and 10g, salvage it and hope to get a “Salvaged Excellence” out of it, which is worth a lot of gold on the trading post currently.
Now, before doing that, I wanted to ask some things:
1. Is it even possible to salvage it when bought with Crests?
2. Does anyone have experience with how profitable this might be or how high the chance for the “Salvaged Excellence” is?
- And please, don’t say: “just buy keys, its the most profitable”, I am really bored of chestruns.

I have tried various orders now and nothing happened so I will most likely contact customer Support. Thanks for the answers.

According to the gw2wiki page I need 50 Philosopher’s Stones, 100 Vicious Claws, 20 Mystic Coins and 250 Passion Fruits to create a Precise Infusion (Fine). However, as soon as I put in the Philosopher’s Stones the recipe does not work anymore.
Does anyone know if there have been changes to the recipe or if it even works anymore?

Theory to that: the chat code is in since about 1-2 patches, I used the same links before and it would show frying pans or sinister pearl reavers.

I don’t see any butterflies in the video, not even in the linked time (3m28s).
[&AvqCLAEA] ; you can adjust it so it gets to lower stacks, this is just the code that I screenshotted with the 250 Reforged Caladbolg.

Because it says “Skin Locked” which means it is not unlocked in your account wardrobe yet.

Plus, I just noticed that in the video you sent the sword does not have the animated butterflies around the sword which might indicate that it’s an older version of Caladbolg.

Also, since it is account bound on acquire, does not come with selected stats and has the usual stats and slots of an exotic greatsword I’m guessing it is a story reward.

I know myself that it is not in the wardrobe, I looked for it myself.
It is just an item link for now, so it doesn’t mean that the item is in the game yet.

That’s not the Reforged Caladbolg in the video, that’s just a Sylvari personal story.
The fact that it says Reforged Caladbolg, and it’s a level 80 exotic greatsword should be hints on it either being a story reward, or a skinned exotic greatsword from gemstore.

So I was plaing around with Chatcodes for item links etc. and stumbled over codes that show a Reforged Caladbolg, which you can also preview.

It fixed itself somehow. It occurred when trying to get a Charr in the human home instance, then I swapped to a human and got in. After this my Charr could enter aswell. Weird.

When wanting to go into my home instance, this bug occured to me:
->Network error, game crashed
->Logged back in
->Was for some reason in Divinity Reach
->Tried again, got some weird chat message (you can see in attachment picture)
->Can’t open home instances. Nothing happens when I try.
