hmm strange I cannot reactivate wvw Silverwastes reward track. Is there any special rule to reactivate it?

Now that the +5 buff is the first aura, it’s definitely possible even for small guilds to get it back. As others have already said, you’ll need some volunteers for the capture mission – aim for doing the mission with 5-9 players. They don’t have to join your guild, by the way, they only need to be in your squad when you start the mission. You can look for volunteers on the forums, in lfg or mapchat.

For the favor, set your guild missions preference to pve only, because some pve missions can be done with 1-2 players (easy trek, if you have a character with world completion) or with other guilds (all races, easy bounty) or even randoms (easy bounty).

The most annoying part will be getting the 50 shovels for the mine 1 upgrade – you’ll have to grind Silverwastes for a while, but at least you’ll get lots of luck that you can use for the +5 upgrade at the same time (you’ll need 77 exotic luck for that upgrade). You can also get a tiny amount of shovels (3 I think) from the Silverwastes wvw reward track.

The guild catapult upgrade will be unlocked automatically because you already had the upgrade in the old system. However, in order to make guild catas you’d have to level the scribe profession (or buy them with guild commendations, but you’d need the market and the guild trader upgrade for that). Guild catas cost 40 supply now if I’m not mistaken.

Upgrading the guild hall will take an insane amount of elder wood and mithril, by the way. Be prepared to chop billions of trees! Good luck!

I don’t think they’d do this. Upgrading the guild hall is very expensive, so there would be a huge outrage if they dared to take our upgrades away again. Even the big guilds would mind this time!

We use our guild for romantic game-play (role-play) point.
I feel very lucky that my wife is willing to play with me this game and so we manage to share our hobby, which is important to keep married life happy.
So guild is our home, heart and sword is our guild emblem etc etc

Gold grind is not an issue. We managed somehow to finish Kudzu and ascended armour sets. But all this guild tasks that need 3-5 players worrying me. I definitely will investigate about guild rush and shovels. Sad that for this tasks we have to go deeper into PVE world.
Wvw jumping puzzle guild task is not the one we could enjoy.

Yes it sure is usefull.
But do you think its worth it to sink tons of materials/gold and time buying or just finding people to help you do guild missions each week so you can earn the favor.

Thats why I said it aint worth it as a 2 person guild

“Worth it” is in the eye of the beholder. Better imo to explain to folks the requirements and let them decide.

If you just push for the +5 supply, the least you need to build is:

• The upgrade: Supply Capacity, which costs 1k aetherium and 200 favor plus mats.
• A guild level of 6, which requires:
  • If you had a guild before HoT, speak to a guild registrar to obtain whatever levels you can.
  • A guild hall (explained above)
  • Tavern 1
  • Mine 1
  • Aetherium 1
  • Workshop 1

Looks like it might be a total of:

• 550 favor
• 2.5k aetherium
• To get to L6, roughly 340 gold (at instant buy prices) for a various mats, from 600 Elder Wood Planks + 600 Mithril Ingots to 50 Silverwastes shovels
• Another 60-80 gold worth of mats for the supply buff itself.

So you’d spend ~400 gold to get a buff you can apply to any camp you claim.

Me and my wife came back after 2 years. Previously we had wvw +5 supply buff for our guild also we could craft guild catapults occasionally.

Influence system worked well for us.

New system is very confusing. After spending some hours on forums I still don’t get it how we could get +5 supply buff back.

Our small guild gets absolutely no benefits after huge amount of time playing in wvw. That is frustrating.

Is there any chance for 2 players guild?

Best I know so far is to buy Rams from Siege master during Season when prices up:
then you can get 3-4 silvers for 6 badges.
or 30-40 for 60
or 3-4 gold for every 600 badges.

When its 30 vs 5 without sieges its more like PVE – very predictable.
With Cata+Treb+3 ACs – its challange.
Well anyway mostly all towers will be taken in no time.
But at least 1 Tower/Keep may be defended.
And it is enjoyment for Defender type player to Successfully defend Tower/Keep even if no such reward as in Zerg karma/money/wxp trains.

Well aimed Trebuchet with supply drain mastery (2nd bar) can do miracle.
Yes – it wont stop them taking Object but it will reduce their time greatly.
They will need to build up 1-2 contra Trebuchets to kill Trebuchet and then continue with rams or attack site from wall side – which is much slower.

In my experience while defending and outnumbered. Dissapearing Sieges is most annoying event.
Even for enemy running around without challenge (30 vs 5) should be boring.
They anyway will take Tower/Keep – just damaging it with weapons.
If Sieges will stay – it will give more time to defend and more time to take.
That is clear balance in this situation.

I am playing early morning and on our server 50% of time we are outnumbered.
Siege could be always helpful in 30 vs 5 situation.
So Developers please PAUSE timers on Sieges on Outnumbered servers.
so its easy:
Siege timer PAUSED when Outnumbered
Siege timer continues when normal.

They’re the same trash chests you normally get on level up,blues and greens and a 0.000001 chance of something good.

Royal Signet of Doric (defensive infusion slot)
just to find out that they both impossible to wear at same time.
Any chance it possible to exchange it?
