With the expansion deluxe edition including a character slot, will the limit for character slots go up or will it stay the same at 64 limit?

The fact that you can take life force drains slower and reduced spectral charge at the same time really sucks for death shroud build. spectral skills are mostly useful as they give life force and stun break

I doubt they will increase the space allocation to allow 80 characters per account.
What I recommend you to do is buy another account, that way you’ll be able to have 128 characters, you can even make 1 account only males and another females, you’ll have space for mule toons and so on.

EDIT: BTW guys, he said his goal to to have 1 toon of each class, race and gender, not level all of them to 80.

I was going to do this and have a second account however before anet changed their minds and said there was a limit they told me that there was no limit so I already have more than 40 characters

64 makes perfect since if you do.

Anyone that hits the limitation has spent enough gems with Anet to request a special compensation by ANet to go to 128 (the next BIT increase) (and possibly some therapy coupons….)

This is an issue that will not affect many people but the character slot limit is currently 64, I wondered if this is going to be changed in the new patch.

Incase you were wondering my current goal is 80 characters with one character for each class race and gender combo, 64 is a really strange number for char slot limit so its currently not worth me increasing the number of char slots I have past 40

I like the fact that the mpas are not server based but colour based, I would like this to be so for all WvW.

This would eliminate, the feeling that there are a lack of players to do anything on lower population servers within WvW.

This could work 2 ways either the current ways where every server is assigned a random colour each week and then paired up, or servers could be paired up permanently.

The only problem would be with organisation and map size. Having 1 voip server for a colour as opposed to a server would be hard, and larger servers still get queues to enter wvw maps, so map sizes might have to be increased or more maps added for the extra size.

Having a guild commander system that you could unlock and didn’t require the 100g normal com tag would be super for guild events

It would also be good if my friends could tell when I am in death shroud so they know I am not about to die and its just ds running out. Seeing as enemies can see when I am in deathshroud it should not be in hard in theory to let party members know!

My guild got in and we sent our form but no one has been contacted to join in

Currently when activating minion skills the range is determined via your range and not the minion range which can lead to misleading info, for example when you get your shadow fiend to teleport and attack this can sometimes be out of range even when no red bar shows on your skill. This can lead to some fights turning into losses instead of wins, so I feel that minion skills should work with the range of the minion not the player.

It’s a shame, necro life steal needs a buff with how it scales, when I build around lifesteal I can heal myself for 0.025% of my hp per a steal just not viable in PvE

During an invasion in timberline falls today at 4:30 server time I along with lots of people in map chat, could not talk in guilds or switch guilds. I created a support ticket and got the “we are working on it” standard anet response.

Im EU on NA have had this issue in both LA and in rata sum if it happens again i will record the time here

necro axe could do with a rework, either make it a melee weapon with cleave or give it more range and add cleave to dagger

there are 2 issues i think

1) the screen that Solid Gold posted which is really being stuck in a waypoint
it sometimes happens when you port while you jump and sometimes randomly
i think if you just port 1 more time to the same waypoint that should fix it usually

2) sometimes for example whenyou port to LA your camera will stay at the waypoint for some time until everything has loaded
but on the minimap you can see that your character is moving and you can for example walk to the trait npcs and change traits if you aim with the minimap

I was jumping as I was stuck in the wp trying to get out, I wasn’t jumping as I entered the wp.

Don’t matter what I did I couldn’t get out, until I wp’d again (To the same wp).

It’s only JUST started happening to me, never had it before.

i have found that you can get out if you use a movement/teleport skill

no one else having this issue?

Me and some guild members have noticed that recently we have stated getting stuck inside waypoints. This seems to happen randomly but when it does you can only get out of the waypoint by using a travel skill

When Mystic Binding Agent first came out, wasn’t the recipe 4 cores + 1 Mystic binding Agent + 1 Crystal + 1 Crystalline dust = 2 lodestone ??? I bought 40 binding agents because I thought it was a better deal than wine, but then it didn’t do 4 for 2. (I know it does 4 shards gives 2 cores)

yes, mystic binding agent only works with one kind of dust and that is for making cores not lodestones

Hey so i have some Mystic Binding Agent, crystals and molten cores what do i add to make a molten lodestone? The wiki says that it is crystalline dust but that doesn’t work any idea?

I don’t think this is necessarily true. The older players who have run out of content, need a reason to keep logging in. This is it. Newer players have an entire game to play from day one. I’m not sure most newer players buy a game and expect to be on the leaderboards…at least a noncompetitive game.

In other words, if I were just starting today, I’d have an entire world and all the dungeons to do, plus the living story stuff, which keeps coming out. It’s the people who are here since the beginning that need to be kept artificially busy.

yes and while it seem like a good idea in the short term (i mean it really works) in the long term they will get less new players

Having achievement points in dailies means that new players can never get to high places in the leaderboard, this means that people will be discouraged from buying the game in the future.

Currently having the same issue but it has got worse now, until reset today parties would sometimes bug and people could not see who was in the party window. This could be fixed by exiting and rejoining the party, a rough fix but it worked. After reset last night this does not work and people cannot see people in the party no matter how many times they rejoin.

Well this just sucks for EU and UK players playing on NA servers, and while yes you might say that we are on the wrong servers just hear me out.

Firstly the people who stayed up to 1-2am before already had to go out of their way to play (and i’m not complaining about that), but any later and we might as well not go to sleep which is not practical.

Secondly after the time that is important is the 5-7 hours from rest time, so when the wvw reset was at server reset everyone got a chance to be part of the action, now players who can’t play at this time miss out.

Thirdly as a Uk payer I run a large guild on a NA server and how can I and other commanders who want to play with their friends lead if we are asleep?

Just wanted to say that I feel, as a guild leader of a big guild that a last seen online feature is needed in GW2. With the removal of the unknown status there is now no way to tell if someone has logged in in the last 5 minutes or the last month, this was also a feature in GW1 so why is it not in GW2.

Taken from the information we have for the February for guild missions: "You’ll need to work together to complete the missions and earn new Guild Merits, which can unlock cool upgrades and rewards. " does anyone else hope that some of these rewards are guild halls?

So as a guild leader I like to mail my members to let them know certain stuff or ask people questions. However after 2 mails I am suppressed and can not mail anyone else. I feel that guild leaders should have the power to, either mail more people before being suppressed (possibly some sort of special mail to guild members) , or leaders should be able to create some sort of MOTD that to pops up when people log in to inform people.

What do people think?

Are you working on adding a last seen online/last time represented feature to guilds?

The Making of Guild Wars 2 Book comes with the collector edition of the game but being a student I could not afford this version of the game. I wondered if you could buy any of the parts other than the music separately, especially the Making of Guild Wars 2 Book. I ask because I would like to own most of the content that came with the collectors edition except the statue which I feel is worthless.

Can anyone help?
