Male Asurans are so self absorbed that their genitalia is on the INSIDE
(which is a good thang considering Anet is considering skimpy male armour)

This give new meaning to the conundrum “which head does one think with”
& effectively doubles their IQ to DIQ

Quaggan is best prepared slow cooked over sylvari. Can’t beat that smoky flavor.

As long as you get a noice CHARR first?

There is another rare recipe utilizing the original “Poobag” name

It’s for Poobag-pie
Gives you bad breath & a particular kind of grin

Personally, I would like to see Shashoo get an admiral hat and epaulets… something like Captain Crunch wears.

:D

I did come across this recipe though it is quite rare

Gua-quag-goalie

1 guava
1 tsp quaggan rage
1 goalie of your choice (footie or hockey or…)

Combine in the Ronco Bass-o-matic
Blend until chummy

Serves 9/u-rite

Another tip is to try to position yourself between/around/close to front/back feet IN THE WATER before Teq lifts off (deeper the better and in the zerg that can be hard to tell)
If you do go beneath the surface look for the submerged chest ASAP

Keep trying you’ll get it!!

I think the OP is on to something i.e. a dedicated place ingame where noobs like myself have a good chance to connect with someone actually helpful

ArenaNet is optimistic about the sophistication of its ingame A.I.
Maybe we can have A.I.Mentors?

Either way, Mentoring needs nerf

I did some research into the why’s & wherefore’s of our racial bioluminescence
Found mainly postings by players upset after the fact with little known about the feature’s existence (the joy/agony of discovery)

I also read this

https://web.archive.org/web/20121106101005/http://www.arena.net/blog/kristen-perry-on-designing-and-redesigning-the-sylvari

I’m wondering why there isn’t more to the feature as far as lore/colour scheme goes

Random colour scheme acquired looks like an odd choice of light filter in Photoshop

Yeah could be a bug perhaps
I’ve searched what other professions shields look like but none compare either
It specifically looks like it comes from a branded spark (the colouring)

I still think the idea that trophy drop pieces (TEQ, TT, SHATmeister etc) gave special effects after being deposited to Guild Decorations would add more ooomph to the process AND sharpen our powers of perception/sense of anticipation

Could be totally random and totally GNAWSOME

BnooMaGoo.5690

Greetings magoo-ma’s

I’ve noticed some strangeness on the map that affected 2 of my 4 toons on different occasions after they each defeated Shatmeister

My engi had a “shield” that looked like a piece of a branded spark
It remained with me until I left the map (managed a screenshot)

My necro was able to “pick up” what looked like a static strike that applied itself to both my greatsword AND staff (when weapon swapping)
It almost felt like it had “fallen off” someone else’s Legendary & I could scoop it
(no screenshot managed)

No sigils or traits on my toon builds to suggest they caused

My overactive fertile imagination thought it might have something to do with Shatmeister’s Crystal trophy I had received on both toons

Which got my overactive fertile imagination thinking what a great idea it would be each/some of the trophy pieces we turned in had a one-time effect (like a shield or weapon charge that appeared the next time we fought that boss)

How many bosses give trophy pieces?

It would add a little extra ooomph while we get the umpteen dozen needed for “gold” stature upgrades & make the process less grindy

*goes to take meds

Suggestions for Superior Rune of Rata Sum

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: BnooMaGoo.5690

BnooMaGoo.5690

Greetings

I read something elsewhere regarding the posters thoughts on rune sets that have an “on hit” bonus (they thought they rewarded bad players)

I have 2 suggestions for Rata Sum’s on hit bonus which has a 50% chance to summon a Radiation Field

Radiation Field’s effectiveness depends on its ability to be placed/targetted IMHO
So for it to show up beside me isn’t really that beneficial unless I am being mobbed or swarmed

How about it gets placed BESIDE the person/npc that hit me?
This could open up more counter gameplay…

or

It only procs when hit by Melee attacks
(more benefit to me and includes still more possibility for counter gameplay)

Thanks for reading

I loaded up one of the many generous boosts I have received in Black Lion Chests &
went-a-wandering looking for the elusive copper veins

I tried several of the 1-15 zones & found TONS of iron & silver but ZIPPO copper
Also had a look on YouTube for advice/locations & turned up copper-less as well

I understand they “reappear” every 23ish hours but I also thought I read something about nodes/veins being player specific

Perhaps copper “spawn” needs to be looked at?

Many thanks

Returning player..Elementalist or Thief?

Elementalist is really fun to play (haven’t tried Thief yet)
Other build I have as well is Engineer

One of the things I like about my short time in this game so far is the different ways the races “move” in their respective classes
(I bet the Charr ele is a HOOT)

Check out the upcoming skill adds to both classes
(Ele is Tempest, not sure about Thief?)

Might give your decision more to go on

Have fun!

Is there a way to tell “easily” what parts of the map are “incomplete” besides zooming in & dragging the map around?

It would be really helpful if there was a designated area on our hero “tab” that broke down each area i.e. 6/8 POI etc much like what shows up when we are in the lands themselves (top left corner I believe?)

Would help us noobs navigate this vast world easier
(I have to say this game has the best “assists” for finding my way around which usually involves going the exact opposite direction)

Perhaps incorporated into existing Achievements
(if I am not missing something already)

Those armadillos would be a lot cooler if they looked more like real armadillos
