Step 1. Don’t listen to what other people say. Play whatever class fits your play style. Every profession is good in it’s own way. You will always find people in any game who will talk trash about other classes because it isn’t something they like. Play around with the classes and see which is something you would like to do more. Check out YouTube video’s, etc.
This depends on what type of WvW Warrior you’re talking about. If it’s for Roaming PVT is nice but not full PVT. You will need to throw in soldier/Valk/zerk/etc to give your warrior the damage he needs to win those small skirmishes. Now if you’re talking about a Zerg Warrior PVT is the way to go. In a Zerg a Warrior’s role would be Front Line Tank so you will be taking heavy damage and also be put on rams.
For about two months now I have been receiving some serious lag while playing the game. Every few minutes my game will lag for several seconds and then goes back to normal. It happens with everything I do, world bosses, dungeons, Spvp, WvW, etc. I have called my internet provider several times believing it has something to do on their end since my next door neighbor, who also plays Guild Wars 2, has the same issue. We lag simultaneously every single time. I have had several technicians come and check my internet but nothing can ever be found; my modem and cables are all new. I was wondering if this was an issue many others have been experiencing for the same length and if there is anything currently being done to resolve this issue.
I’ve been getting lag spikes for over a month; almost two. It is pretty much everything I do, dungeons, wvw, Spvp, Train bosses, etc. It has been very frustrating and has even gotten me killed dozens of times. I thought it had something to do with my internet but they could never find any problems. Also has anyone else been crashing while either waiting for Tequatl to spawn or during the event? It happens to me very often and since the way the game is set up and just get tossed into overflow and unable to do the event due to the lack of people.
Seems like someone isn’t in the mood for constructive criticism.
My next door neighbor and I have the same problem for 2 months now. We thought it had been a problem with our Comcast. We have had several Comcast technicians come out to check out internet and none of them could find a problem. Good to know other people have been having the same issue. It is quite annoying when every few minutes the game lags while playing while doing anything. I hope Anet can fix this soon.
